I will start by saying 1 star is too good for this place. Their service department is ridiculous…read more Catia checked us in and said $450 to diagnose and then asked Enterprise Car rental to bill them for the rental. They diagnosed the issue as sludge build up and they would have to do like 3 oil changes to flush it. We had an extended warranty that they called on and the claim was denied. If only the maintenance writer explained the issue to them regarding the issue like she did to us maybe they would have covered the charge. She explained to us that the manufacturers recommendation of changing the oil at 10k miles is wrong, it should be changed every 5000. Well that is fine and dandy, but that is not what we were told when we purchased the vehicle. When we left the vehicle we were also asked if we wanted it washed and we said yes. A few days later we were charged $3000 for what was essentially three oil changes and a belt replacement. The $450 for diagnosis does not come off the bill and they did not comp the rental even though we had a 2 hour drive. The topping on the cake was they didn't even wash the vehicle. We will NEVER go here again, not to purchase or for maintenance. My biggest advise (and I worked at a Lexus dealership in customer service in the past), is to put the customer first before profits. A happy customer will come back and refer you to all of their friends and family. We purchased our vehicle and always had it serviced in So. Cal when we lived there. The difference in customer service is astounding. Don't waste your time here at least not in the service department. Update after manager (Sarah) response: Let me start by saying, make sure you know who used profanity. The profanity you speak of was not me it was my husband, and this is my review not his. He used profanity because our whole visit to your dealership was a nightmare. When something as simple as a carwash doesn't get done and the bill is $3k, customer service is overlooked. You can spin this situation any way you want, I'm just stating the reality of how I was treated. This is a forum for individual reviews and this review is mine. When I'm told by your employee that the issue is a manufacturers defect, I think something more could have been done. Also, as far as leaving my rude behavior at the door, there is no need to worry about that since I will never be coming back. I don't need to get ripped off twice. I will sell this vehicle before I ever step foot in your door again. You and your service writers should have a refresher course in customer service. Just being a pretty skirt doesn't cut it.

Absolutely terrible experience at Biggs Eastside…read more I brought my Land Rover LR3 in for a wheel alignment because it was pulling to the right and the steering wheel was offset to the left. This should be a straightforward job for a Land Rover specialist. It cost several hundred dollars more than the competition, but I assumed the expertise justified the price. When I got the car back, it was still pulling to the right. I returned the vehicle, expecting them to re-check the alignment. Instead, they swapped the front tires left-to-right and recalibrated the steering angle sensor (SAS). And charged me. Again. Swapping tires to diagnose a pull is questionable enough since it did not solve the issue, but recalibrating the SAS was completely pointless! The SAS has zero influence on physical steering geometry and cannot correct an alignment issue. I'm not sure how a Land Rover specialist does not know that. Unsurprisingly, the vehicle still pulled right. I replaced the tires, and the pull remained. Since they had charged me twice without fixing the issue, I requested a warranty alignment -- the alignment they should have performed when I brought the car back. The manager, Angela refused. When I picked up the car the second time, the tech even said that "I might need a warranty alignment if new tires did not solve the issue". The manager even claimed that the shop that replaced my tires (Discount Tire) was negligent because, she told me "wheel alignment is always done with every new set of tires". This is simply incorrect. Most tire stores don't even have an alignment rack. Further, they don't have the equipment or knowledge to place the land rover into a special (tight tolerance) mode needed for proper wheel alignment. What a waste of money. Take caution: they do not stand behind their work, and worse: they do not understand the mechanical systems of the Land Rover platform.
