Stopped in for some patio on the patio. This location is changing names with the same owner group to Sherpa Base Camp. We started with samosa chaat and gobi Manchurian. Wow both so delicious. Great way to begin a meal here. For main we had the tikka masala with chicken and chicken shahenshaw which is phenomenal and not offered in most Indian restaurants. Love the cashew base. We also had garlic cheeses naan. No booze and no dessert this time. They do have a full bar and are offering bogo in certain beers and cocktails. Service was friendly and satisfactory. This location has a great patio and the ability host groups of all sizes. read more

If you need a vacation, you should come here. Everything around you will envelope you and give you the feeling that you are far, far away. First, the aromas emanating from the kitchen will lure you in, then the decor, the gardens..... Once you decide on your entrees, you will be waited on as if you are royalty. Our food was so tasty - butter chicken, basmati rice, tandoori meats, samosas, lamb and goat. It's great to go with a group so you can try as many dishes as possible. read more

Phenomenal service, ambiance, and flavorful food! I walked in with a group of 12 people around 8:15pm on a Saturday night. The staff accommodated all of us, promptly took our orders, and brought our drinks out within five minutes. The food was great - each person at the table ordered something different and loved it! Personally, I tried the appetizer sampler (fried veggies and a samosa with two different sauces). I enjoyed it! I'd love to come back for their Lamb Curry. As we left, the staff treated us all to fireball shots for my friend's birthday. It made the evening even more special! Great restaurant! read more

The most FLAVORLESS butter chicken- odd because it has a good heat and creaminess to it, but flavor isn't there! My husband is Indian and we are really disappointed. The naan is equally flavorless. I've never had $4 garlic naan without garlic flavor before, this is a first :( it was chewy as well not crispy jsyk. I had to add spices, yogurt, cilantro, lemon and salt at home to make it ok to eat. We will not go here again. read more

It is under new ownership and they are so nice! The food was delicious, we had a group of 5 so we basically ordered everything and shared. The drinks were good too, they have a pretty elaborate drink menu. The owners & staff were what made it special, really hands on service. read more

I don't know what happened to this place. For the last 6 months we've ordered from them; all excellent. Sadly it has come to a screeching halt; from getting our order wrong to the awful taste of naan (it tasted as a mix of uncooked and unsalted dough), which we opted to compost instead, rice was also not seasoned at all, and tikka masala was average compared to other times. Sadly we will no longer be buying from them again until they up their standards to what they used to be not long ago. Feels like they are cutting corners or they got rid of their cook read more

Had one of the best Tikka Masalas I've ever had from here! I know it's a basic order, but the flavor was absolutely killer. I went with the "hot" spice level, and while that might be too much for most people, it was perfect for me--cleared my sinuses up good. The samosa chaat was also delicious, though it came with green onions, which I'd probably skip next time. I ordered through Uber Eats, and they're running a 2-for-1 deal on their popular entrées, which is amazing. Great, authentic Indian food. I'll definitely be ordering again! read more

This really cute Indian/Nepali restaurant opened on 17th Street. I saw the sign for a lunch buffet as I was driving past, and I am for sure a sucker for a $9.99 Indian buffet. This placed opened a month ago and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The place is immaculately clean and they were putting up decorations while we were there. I went for the buffet and my favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala, Gobi Manchurian and Samosas. The samosas were paired with a tamarind and green chutney that were both well made. The Gobi Manchurian is a somewhat fusion dish. As it was on a buffet heated by steam it was not as crunchy as it should be ideally but the flavor profile was on point. The Chicken Tikka Masala was the perfect blend of heavy cream, chicken, tomatoes and spices. I would for sure order this off the menu during non-buffet hours. Some of the other buffet items were Naan (made well but not the ideal texture in the buffet format), Chicken Kadai, Saffron and plain rice, chickpeas and spinach with paneer. They seem to have a lot of drink specials and great outdoor seating so I imagine this restaurant will be a destination during the summer. It pretty cool in that they have an area of the patio dedicated to dog friendly seating. read more

When my cousin and I walked up and it was completely empty on a Saturday night we were a bit concerned. But we decided to stay and enjoy their nice outdoor patio. Service was incredibly nice and attentive, even as they got busier. Food was solid all the way around, from cheese naan, chicken tikka masala, and saag! read more

I must say, I'm a little disappointed in myself. I thought I had reviewed Curry & Grill 2 several months ago, and now that I've realized that's not the case, I feel responsible for not sufficiently spreading the word about this tasty place. I have an unabashed love for Indian food and when I realized Curry & Grill 2 had opened in the neighborhood and was offering a lunch buffet, I had to check it out. Truthfully, while I had some prior favorites, finding a more local location for Indian is always a win, and I relish the opportunity to try numerous things, which only a buffet can afford...affordably. The buffet lunch here may very well be the best lunch deal in town. For ~$12.99 you can get yourself some pakoras, naan, samosas, a couple of styles of rice, a few veggie curries, and a few meat options, (for example, chicken tikka, lamb curry, and chicken makhni/tikka masala), as well as some kheer for dessert. Honestly, the first time I went the taste of everything was such sheer perfection that I raved to numerous people. So much depth in the spices, and layered flavors. Perhaps the best saag paneer I had ever had. I was told by my friendly server that the buffet was offered on the weekends as well, and that they planned to rotate the dishes regularly. I've since ordered delivery from Curry & Grill 2, and gotten the buffet a few more times as well (it's a great stop post-hike, or a quick lunch on a work from home day). I appreciate the extra vegetarian dishes they offer; the sweet potato masala is a favorite, and they also put paneer in their veggie biryani which is excellent. I will say that the flavors of the lunch buffet have not always lived up to the enthusiasm of my first visit, but I think that may be a function of streamlining for the crowd size, and it's still quite enjoyable all things considered. I was also excited to see recently that they added family-style vegetarian and meat package meals to their carryout/delivery menu, which I can't wait to take advantage of. The restaurant also has a great outdoor space to gather in during nice weather. I will say that this stretch of 17th avenue isn't always known for being kind to businesses. So if you live in the area and love having diverse food options (read: more than just tacos/burritos) swing by Curry & Grill 2 and give them a shot. read more

service was seriously so amazing, and welcoming. the dining area and bathrooms are so so nice. the food was on abother level, probably some of the best mango lassi ive ever had, our waiter told us how they make it and you can taste he isnt lying. i would recommend the chicken mango curry (i believe its called) , their lunch menus comes with a huge amount of food, and over all you can tell that everything is made with love and passion. 10/10 read more

Delicious food at affordable pricing. Excellent service from a very personable server. Served in beautiful location that has space for private banquets as well as outdoor seating and a well stocked bar. I got a lunch special that is served daily until 3:00 pm. Every thing on the platter from the Indian green lentil soup, rice, 2 entrees, pickled vegetables, naan, samosas and a scrumptious Indian dessert was delightfully cooked to perfection. The servings were generous enough that I took half home for dinner. I highly recommend that restaurant and am glad it is around the corner from my house so I'll be able to dine there often read more

Used to be my go-to place for Indian food. Not sure why but the last two times, it's been mediocre at best. Butter chicken was tasteless and overcooked and all sauce, not meat. They've stepped up the advertising but the quality has declined. I hope I'm wrong. I'll try one more time before I write this place off. read more

First time at this Indian/Nepali restaurant. They have an extensive menu full of amazing dishes. When you order, you are asked what spice level you prefer so dishes can be tailored to all sorts of tastes. Service is friendly but a little slow. I'm sure this is due to the care taken to cook each dish as the sauces are full of flavor. Colorful lights adorn the ceiling to add to the experience. We started with the Gobi Manchurian - cauliflower fried and sautéed in a garlic soy chili sauce. A plentiful portion for 4. I opted for the Madras medium spice with chicken. It had just the right amount of spice and was served with rice. They also have baked-to-order naan which is a must! Bonus, if you are in the area and have a late night craving for Indian/Nepali food, the are open until 2am Wednesday-Sunday, 11:45pm Mondays and Tuesdays. read more

I have eaten here several times because of the proximity to my house and I'm just now getting around to reviewing it. In the past when the original staff was there, we always had incredible experiences. On my last visit when our food was being delivered, a roach jumped off the plate and was on the bar. The person delivering the food pretended not to see it and when we brought this up to the manager at the end, he said that he was aware of it. To say the least, this did not make our experience good, and I would have thought that the manager would've comped some part of our meal; this did not happen. read more

I also got the Curry and grill naan and the Lamb kadai (recommended by a server) I got it with medium spice and ohhh lanta it was spicy but in a good way ! The server said next time I can always do the mild plus which is the in between of mild and medium, if I wanted The service was amazing ! The two ladies that took care of me were so kind and very informative. Prices were pretty good for the amount of food and quality you get ! They were playing some throwbacks and I was just jamming and eating away 10/10 all the way ! Love this place ! read more

Beautiful location with exposed brick. Authentic as it gets. The lunch Thali is like having a buffet at your table, and it was all very good. Great rice, and amazing flavors. Goat Curry which is so hard to find and it was delicious, reminded me of home. Goat is unique, it's fatty and bone in pieces that you eat the meat off of, so only get if you want an adventure. Everything was delicious. read more

Incredibly delicious!! I've gone twice now and both times it has been consistently good. We got the Saag with chole (spinach curry with chickpea), the mango chicken curry. Then we got the Thali which is a platter that comes with the Tikka Masala and Korma, as well as a DELICIOUS lentil soup and rice, with a pastry. This place gets a 10/10 from me and my family. They also have outdoor seating that is colorful and has a nice view of the neighborhood. A great place to come this summer. The staff were wonderful. read more

When their website says "Best Indian food in Denver" they aren't lying! Met up with a group of friends to dine at this establishment we have been hearing about, rave reviews frankly and the rave review stands. We started with the Gobi Manchurian cauliflower florets and the Jaipuri Samosas-highly recommended! For the main course, we all ordered a different dish to share. I opted for the chicken korma, basmati rice, and cheese naan-all of it very, very yummy. The lamb and chicken madras along with the chicken kadai were also tasty. Basmati rice was perfectly cooked as well. Bonus- the leftovers are also amazing the next day. Check out their Happy Hour for discounted prices and they do delivery and pick up into the late evening. Look for the blue building among the mass amounts of businesses along 17th. Yum! read more

Some of the best Indian food in the Denver metro area. I've tried a couple dozen places over the years, and they have one of the best butter chicken dishes out there. The chicken is moist and the base creamy. Meaty lamb rogan josh, as they trimmed the meat well. I also love they offer so many vegetarian options. Their paneer has the right amount of softness. Their naan options are above average. I have a bunch of closer places, but this spot is worth a trip out to Aurora. read more

Thorough selection, including some dishes we hadn't seen before. Each item included a bit of history, which was a nice touch. Our server was exceptionally polite, to the point where he surprised us by his politeness. Decor was very tasteful, not garish. The food was well-spiced. The madrass curry in particular had a very balanced profile. I had the shahenshah chicken, extra hot, and it was quite indulgent and energizing. I'd eat here again, if I happened to be in the area. read more
