My husband and I do a lot of Escape Rooms, and we were running out of places to go near us. We chose to branch out a little and try the Sherlock's Escape Room in Keller based on reviews. The Shed that we did was great - good story telling, unique puzzles, and easy to work together. Our gamemaster Percie was upbeat and fun, and we enjoyed her personality. We did not purchase any of them, but Sherlock's takes photos while you are solving the escape room - something we have not seen before, but fun! We enjoyed our time there so much, that we booked another escape room before leaving. NOTE: Something worth mentioning...if you need to change your reservation for ANY reason there is a $25 charge to do so. I accidentally booked us on the wrong date, and I called immediately about this. They could fix it, but I had to pay the charge. The super fun experience made up for this inconvenience, and part of the reason we booked at the Room was so that I did not make the same mistake again. My first escape room experience and it was a lively time. I will admit that as a greenhorn I wasn't sure what to do and that affected my enjoyment at first. I didn't realize you were supposed to look all around for clues and we wasted some time upfront on just one section of the room. Now that I have a better idea of what to expect, probably next time I'll enjoy it more. We needed a lot of hints from the staff so I am not sure if that means this escape room is really hard or we are just not that smart. :) We had a couple who had to cancel last minute and we were not able to get the fee for them refunded but were given a credit. That's better than nothing but considering it doesn't cost any more or less to have a larger or smaller group, I would like to see a more accommodating refund policy. Overall it was a fun time with friends and I learned something so that was good. read more

We had a great time at Sherlock's escape room this afternoon. We went with the shipwreck room which we found out after was the second hardest one. Kat was our game master and explained the rules to us. She was engaging, friendly and knowledgeable throughout the experience. Unfortunately we were close to escaping but ran out of time. We were grateful for the clues she gave us and it was a fun experience for my group. I would recommend Sherlock's for family, friends or a team building exercise. We were able to take pictures at the end in front of the Sherlock sign and they have props you can use. Also at the end, your game master will show pictures taken and videos throughout the escape room experience. read more

We had a blast ! We tried Dragon Spell an unfortunate didn't finish in time BUT we will come back an try it again! Jake was a fabulous game master he saw when we were lost an gave helpful hints to help us along the journey. There is different rooms an lvl of hardness in each room an nothing seemed like it was old an been used a 1000 times. read more

When it comes to escaping things, I'm an artist, when it came to escape rooms, I was a virgin; Sherlock's Escape Room was my first and will never be my last. There were four of us and we dove straight into the hardest room that was offered (Cabin in the Woods) and began solving clues immediately. The story line was good and they threw in a few little jump scares here and there, which kept it interesting. Anyways... The staff were friendly, the business is clean, and the puzzles were fun to solve. Being my first escape room, it was a great time and I loved every minute of it. The cameras could have better quality when deciding to buy pictures or videos of our process but, we still enjoyed looking at the random pictures and videos. All in all I would most definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a not-so-serious experience, trying to solve clues and puzzles. Enjoy and good luck! read more

I came here for a birthday party with my son. The place was clean inside but a little small of a lobby area. I liked the fact that they have a kid's escape room because most places are only for adults. However the girl who was explaining the instructions to our group of kids was going so fast!! Like ok slow down!!.. these are 8-11 year olds. Overall the kids did have a great time and that is all that matters. read more

My son and I have done numerous escape rooms at numerous locations, and Sherlock's is the best one!! The game masters are soooo in it, the enthusiasm and character playing is unmatched to anywhere else we've been (shout out most recently to Parker and previously to Jay Cee.) The rooms seem to be rated very fairly for difficulty, so choose confidently according to your skill level. The Shed did have a couple mishaps today - the radio was not working and the tools failed to drop the appropriate box, but Parker was super quick to help and paused our time while he fixed it. Never had any technical issues with Jungle Jr or Cabin in the Woods (and btw both of which were decorated SO SO GOOD! The Shed also decorated SO SO GOOD. LOVE when time and effort is clearly invested in the aesthetics of the scene - easily doubles the fun.) I love that the games here do not throw a bunch of red herrings to waste your time. I love that all of the puzzles we've encountered make total sense and follow logical conclusions. (If you've done escape rooms before, you'll know what I mean by that.) The prices are also great! I appreciate being able to do rooms with only 2 people and no minimum purchase! I love that they have a room designed for little kids, it's amazing! Would love more kid-based options but at a full hour length in the future! We will definitely be back. Thanks for the fun! read more

We came today back for more fun. The staff are helpful and friendly. The escape rooms themselves are very well made with fun and challenging puzzles. We did the Haunted Mansion room this time in a 2 person group. I think this particular room with work well with a larger group as it is a bigger space. This was our 3rd time here. OK, took my nephew here for his first time in an escape room and I was pretty impressed. Rooms led into other rooms. I had no idea existed and things even fell from the ceiling. Pretty impressive. For the price I wish it was a little bit longer maybe an hour and a half instead of an hour $100 for three people is kind of pricey for one hour of time. I didn't think the storyline was clever, and the decor was very impressive. I would go again, but I wouldn't go often due to the cost. read more

If you like being spooked then this is definitely the one for you and your crew! Zander was the person who helped us and he was a very good host! I had such an amazing time with my family there! Bernie was a fantastic game master. we ended up playing 2 games with our daughter, jungle jr and dragon. Then we came back and played Shed. Shed was terrifying and had so many cool moments. We even got to buy a flash drive with our photos and videos afterward. We've been to a lot of places and never have we been able to buy photos.
