The gentleman running the rooms today was hands down the best I have seen in 20+ escape rooms. He was friendly and super helpful and you could absolutely tell he was enjoying his job. It was an outstanding start and finish to our experience! We did O'Bannions with a group of two and had just enough time. We felt the puzzles had just the right level of challenge and the room setup is excellent. We are already looking forward to coming back for the other rooms here. The Shed that we did was great - good story telling, unique puzzles, and easy to work together. Our gamemaster Percie was upbeat and fun, and we enjoyed her personality. We did not purchase any of them, but Sherlock's takes photos while you are solving the escape room - something we have not seen before, but fun! We enjoyed our time there so much, that we booked another escape room before leaving. NOTE: Something worth mentioning...if you need to change your reservation for ANY reason there is a $25 charge to do so. I accidentally booked us on the wrong date, and I called immediately about this. They could fix it, but I had to pay the charge. The super fun experience made up for this inconvenience, and part of the reason we booked at the Room was so that I did not make the same mistake again. Be sure to double check your booking details before officially paying.

It failed to respond even when the correct books were pulled. Our guide did confirm this was a room error, and it prevented us from completing the game. It was disappointing that we weren't able to pause our time to have the mechanical error fixed and progress with the game or receive an offer to retry the experience in a functional room.

From the moment we arrived, our entire group was treated with exceptional courtesy and professionalism. Coordinating an event for 30 people can be difficult, but The Grapevine Escape handled it seamlessly. Everyone had an amazing time, and people were still talking about their rooms afterward. The room that we did (Principal's Office) wasn't correctly set up. We ended up solving a 60 minute room in under 30... But only because key puzzles were solved purely on accident. Random magnets popped doors open prematurely, and cards weren't erased properly after previous users ( you could still see the writing from the last team). We could have overlooked some of this as flukes... But Amber, the "gamemaster" was patronizing and unhelpful. She wouldn't even take the time to explain how the puzzles should have worked. Instead, she claimed she had to get the room set up for the next group, and didn't have time to explain things to us... With 30 minutes still left on the clock! When you're spending the kind of money you are on an experience like this, the least one should expect is courteous, helpful staff, and a game room that works Save your time and your money. Go someplace else. (Only giving the place one star because I can't post anything otherwise).
