Horrible service! You order a drink and only see the waitress again if you wave her down, others it's bar service only. Food was good, live music was good but musicians also complained that they changed the time on them and had to rearrange their gigs. Oh and don't ever give them your debit/credit card, they will give it back to someone else which makes you have to cancel your card-so cash only, the bad part about this is you have to pay after every drink-if you make it past more than one round with this service. We have come to shenanigans as customers and as performers and not once was Lincoln a problem. WENDY who initially told us she does not care about the rightful request then proceeds to mock us and not help us in a way in front of other customers who were clearly embarrassed from her bad service. Came here for a quick bite to eat after parasailing at Long Beach Parasail. It's open seating so you just find any table and have a seat. It took a few minutes for a waiter to come by and get us menus though. And we also had to get place settings from the table next to us (the couple at that table were very nice). Food was great! I ordered Sheas sliders (with corned beef) and also got a taste of the fish and chips. Live music was playing so it was a bit loud for my liking. Good experience overall though. read more

I honestly had been walking around downtown and it was so hot and I was exhausted , so I caught a ride here because it was one of the few places open since I was up early. Also, if you've seen the movie super troopers it's obvious why I chose this place. The service from Patrick was phenomenal- friendly and so quick! Others have complained about the service. At night. In an Irish pub that served me two pints of the freshest Guinness I've had in years. I haven't had the second yet. But I'm ordering in a minute. I ordered the fish & chips to go because I had been craving it and because I was picking up a to-go order from Louisiana Charlie's for my hubby. I have to say that the flavor of the fish was very good. I have been disappointed many times by flavorless fish when I have ordered this dish. The only draw back is that it was on the greasy side. I'm assuming it was an oil temperature issue because I let the fish sit on paper towels for at least 7 or 8 minutes when I got home trying to get rid of some of the visible oil on the batter but it was greasy throughout. Service was pretty lousy. After seating myself because the waitress couldn't be bothered, it took quite awhile to get served. She got my drink order wrong and the eggs Benedict we're terrible. Literally on the top 3 worst I've ever had. The table next to me had to get up and look for someone to help them. The only reason I give a two is because the cocktail menu is good. There's also no cell phone service in this place. After seeing two shenanigans wifi spots, I asked for the password and they said no, for employees only. If you don't have a host, then don't post a sign at the door "wait to be seated". The owners response to my review was defensive and disrespectful. My fiancé and I left the aquarium nearby and decided to drop in. It was our first time here. As soon as you enter there...security checks for ID... Service was kind of slow and then shortly after I sat, I was told that the table was reserved. I got angry and left, despite being offered another table. Unfortunately, it would have been super close to the loud band. All it takes is a simple little sign & write "reserved." I would have never picked that table. Managed to drink two beers though before I was asked to leave the table. I guess on the bright side, it was good that I left because the beers are overpriced. At least $10. Let's just say they live up to their name. Terrible service. Gave them a chance to fix it and they blew it. We waited in line for about 10-15 minutes. There was no host/hostess at the welcome station throughout that time. A couple waitresses and a bus boy passed by. There was zero acknowledgment of the restless people in line. No "hey guys, sorry we are short staffed today but we'll be with you shortly" or a simple "thank you for your patience, we'll get you seated as soon as possible." NOTHING. We couldn't even inquire about the wait time. Finally, we made it to the front of the line. The bus boy told us that it will be another 10-15 minutes because the waitress is going to be busy and won't be able to serve us. We agreed to this and asked if we could sit down at least since we were tired of standing and there was no system to hold our place. We promised that we wouldn't try to order and she can just come see us when she was ready. There were several open tables btw. The bus boy was at least nice enough to run and ask the waitress but when he came back -- it was a NO. We left and went to another restaurant. I understand that sometimes restaurants are short staffed. In those situations, it becomes paramount that your employees are trained to resolve people's frustrations. This past Saturday was so fun on the Long Beach pier, while walking we came across Shenanigans their line was pretty fast compared to Yard house or this BBQ spot. I enjoyed their food, I tried the Buffalo wings and fries and my friend had fried zucchini with sliders. The Buffalo wings were a lil dry but not bad, the zucchini was pretty good. As for the drinks, we ordered the Tequila mixed drink and cucumber vodka drink and they were pretty tasty. If I go back I think I would go with something else to eat and the cucumber vodka drink only because the tequila had different type of juice and not enough liquor so it was too sweet. All in all service was good by Karen our waitress and nice atmosphere, oh they play top 40 so that was nice!! read more

Ended up falling into this place because it was very busy at other surrounding bars and restaurants. I think there's a reason why this place wasn't very busy. They do have a happy hour, but it's not great pricing or discounts on the happier items. I will say that based off of the food it was decent. I did like the crispy brussels sprouts I felt like they were seasoned well and I would definitely add bacon. And then we got the zucchini and calamari mix. They have tables that sit outside of the restaurant due to Covid. We sat in the middle of the main walkway which I didn't like.
