If you are looking for fresh seafood, this is the place for you. We picked up food for a sunset beach picnic and it was perfect. The crab cakes were delicious and the steamed shrimp with melted butter were fresh and yummy. We also picked up margaritas to go and those were delicious too. They did a great job packing everything up in to-go containers and were very friendly and efficient during the ordering and pick up process. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant, we noticed they had sanitizer out, employees were all wearing masks and plexi glass dividers were installed for seated customers. They definitely seem to be doing their best to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Would go back again. read more

The service was excellent. We went twice (Tues / Thurs) during our week stay in the St. Pete area. Our servers were Tyler and Michelle...both outstanding and as good as it gets. Courteous, attentive and just pleasant. Not sure if we lucked out but it seems like the owners/managers promote a great environment for its employees. Thank you. The food...very good. Buffalo shrimp and the clam chowder...game over. Possibly the best we've had. Kids meals were good as well. The fish was really good. I had blackened red snapper and it was excellent. My only complaint on the food is my vegetables were watery and exhibited that infamous algae taste of the local tap water. The service was also attentive, friendly, and prompt. The ambiance was a little tired, but fun. read more

Ok food..nothing outstanding. Shrimp crab dip had a smal piece of shrimp that was it. I asked my waiter if the shrimp was deveined and he had no idea what I was talking about. My mahi mahi was fresh and cooked correctly. The large chunk of onions was to much. My husband's fried seafood platter was ok. Drinks are really good and at a great price. I've had better seafood. Not as good as it used to be, portion size diminished and prices raised. Par for the course these days. My food was so so this time - clam chowder ordered bowl received a small cup, shrimp pasta was lacking in flavor and the side Caesar was a few leaves of romain lettuce. Came for supper while visiting St. Petersburg with my boyfriend. Service was incredible and the food was great. My boyfriend ordered main lobster which came with coleslaw and potatoes. I'm not a big seafood fan but I tried a few bites and it was good. My boyfriend loved it. Our server Michael D was super friendly, he had the kitchen special order me coconut crusted chicken and it was amazing. Came with two sides so I ordered potatoes and veggies. The food was good; for appetizer the calamari was a little tough but the dipping sauce tasted great. The salmon cake was delicious! As a main course the shrimp tacos were good; very large portion, 7-8 shrimp per taco. The blackening seasoning was on the heavy side, so if you have a sensitivity to spice maybe ask for light seasoning. Very clean restaurant; the bathrooms were neat and orderly. The service was great; attentive, friendly, and accommodating! I have 4/5 for seating; some of the tables are somewhat close together making conversation timid. Next time I will ask for wall seating or a booth; maybe even outdoor seating! Even thou I did not seat outside; it looked comfortable with large ceiling fans in place. We were uninformed but our waitress(es) could NOT have been more attentive! The snow crab legs were tender, sweet and delicious (sounds like yours truly). The house margarita did leave something to be desired, but for $5, I'LL TAKE IT! And as I told Shelly - Still better than the margs my ex husband used to make! Really enjoyed this hidden gem. For starters, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We had six people and I had a chance to sample several different dishes. The sauces here are fantastic. The food in general is also great, especially for what you are paying. The house happy hour special drinks didn't taste cheap or watered down. We use to frequent this place, like atleast once every 2 weeks, but lately the quality has really gone down. The clam chowder is still amazing, so if you going for that then go. My husband and I normally order the Salmon Felix and the blackened salmon. The salmon tasted old with a weird aftertaste. We didn't even finish it, I took 2 bites and left it on the tabel and so did my husband. So we basically paid $73 for 2 chowers and 1 kids meal since half of it on the table. We also told the waitress that it tasted funny and she just said ok. No offer to get us something else, just ok. I ordered 1 1/2 pounds of crab legs and my husband had the seafood special- a tomato-based stew with fish, shrimp, mussels and clams. My crab legs were tasty and my husband's meal was too, but on the salty side. We also ordered a dozen of oysters that were fresh and delightful. Came here on a whim and so glad that I did. We were seated right away. The front of the house was very friendly. Our waiter, Michael, was very friendly , great to engage in conversation with us, and gave us great options when my daughter was unsure what to order. Our food came quickly and it was great. We will definitely be back. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way is that the tip suggestion on the bill was circled. I always tip so I don't need a reminder (maybe others do). read more

I believe they DID SOMETHING NASTY TO MY FOOD!! I usually go to tampa shells on dale mabry. Went here as its closer since I moved. Ordered my usual to go, seafood pasta classic. Drove 20 mins home to find dry, hard bread, no sauce and empty shells with no meat in pasta. Called spoke to "nick" who said come back another time and get refund and a replacement. So a wk later I go back mentioned the offer, they did not honor this, they just gave a replacement not a refund. ((Isaw the one 'chef'/manager looking through partition at me as Im discussing it with 'nick' )) I ordered two as my daughter was there and we left. I considered the guy messing with my food but thought nah they wouldn't be unprofessional/unsanitary?! Got home it was covered in watery liquid (extr sauce he mentioned) and the bread was overly moist..as I said the previous was dry. So I did not eat the bread. I drained the pasta and ate some of it until I saw some weird looking clam meat 'lump' regardless I ate half and within 30 mins I felt sick and had stomach issues. My kid felt sick as well.
