Then we had the flatbread with jam prosciutto it was amazing. I had the grouper which was displayed and the eye and also tasted great. My husband ordered the hamburger. It wasn't cooked properly, but they took it back and we cooked it so that was a bonus. Between five and six, they have a happy hour every day but you have to sit at the bar to have a happy hour menu drinks and appetizers are a really good price parking is a problem because you have to find something on the street. I've heard about Grace for quite some time, and I finally had the chance to visit--and wow, it exceeded every expectation. This little spot has such a special charm. Knowing how hard they worked to bounce back after last year's hurricane makes the experience even more meaningful. The food was absolutely delicious--every dish was prepared with such care and creativity. What really stood out, though, was the warmth of the team and the attention to detail. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. We have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for years and finally decided to go for my birthday. We made reservations over a week ago only to be called 2 hours before our reservation that they needed to cancel. They stated it was due to unexpected maintenance. I get it problems arise, but there was no mention of compensation, no type of apology for canceling a birthday celebration, and no attempt to get us to try them another time. Luckily we were able to find a last minute reservation somewhere else. Sorry Grace, you won't get our business. read more

I dined at Grace restaurant and was expecting to have a pretty great experience since I love this area and frequent it a lot. I had a reservation, and when we came in, we were greeted at the point near the door (there was a sign that said wait to be greeted or seated). However, the woman who greeted us was not only not friendly she seemed annoyed that we were there and acted like we were not welcome. This was all in her attitude. She did not say these things, but she would not make eye contact, she looked annoyed and almost questioning why we were there and to be honest our waitress was nicer, but I noticed a totally different person was delivering our food to our table during service. It could just be a coincidence. I am just going to say we were not the exact type of couple coming in to dine that was predominantly in there. Decor wise, the restaurant is simple; It isn't fancy. I think, decor wise, the umbrellas on the ceiling are very cute, but after that, it's like the vibe ended,  totally.  Food wise, the food was well seasoned. So, I will say that first off, I hate underseasoned food.  I have Celiacs Disease, and they have GF denotations on the menu, so I chose from there. I actually asked for the shrimp scampi with rice noodles, and that came out great, I just told our waitress to please make sure they cooked them in a separate pot and flagged it, and she did The taste and seasoning were great. I 100% did not mind the rice noodles, and I thought it was great. The seasoning was good on everything we had. The starter was the lamb rolls, which was incredibly underwhelming. The amount of lamb they give you is a joke and it's priced at 21.00$. You can get a pound of organic  ground lamb from Whole Foods for 8.00$ (and I do) and yet, they are charging 21.00$ for 1 link the size of a breakfast sausage that was cut up! This is served on 6 or 7 pieces of Bibb lettuce with 3 slices of onion and some banana peppers. It's NOT worth 22.00$. Please avoid this dish if you go there. It's literally less than 3 ounces of lamb at the most. Secondly, the sparking water... they are charging 8.00$ for a small bottle of San Pelligrino water, and even at high-end restaurants, the LARGE BOTTLE is 7 or 8.00$. This is way overpriced. We paid 16.00$ plus tax and tip on two small bottles of San Pelligrino water, which you can buy an entire case of these x2 for this price at the grocery store. Most restaurants serving this small bottle would charge 3.00$ for it, not 8.00$. The stand-out dish was the Oso Buco. This was the only dish that was the best of the night. The second is the shrimp scampi.  Cocktails: They were basic and underwhelming at 14.00$. They weren't mixed well and had no garnishes (the menu said there would be garnishes) and were not served in proper glasses. I ordered a cocktail, and it never arrived. When I asked for it again I got it and was charged (it should have been comped at that point because I waited about 25 minutes for it) and the kicker is that they charge a 3.00$ upcharge for Tito's vodka which isnt even tooshelf. Overall, I like trying new restaurants, but I won't be coming back here. From the unwelcome vibes to the overpriced items, I feel I can do a lot better taking my money elsewhere. I felt like as a customer, I was not welcome at all, and the service was lacking. I was readily made to feel like I wasn't the demographic they were looking for from the moment I walked in.  The Dewey has a better atmosphere and food and is steps away, and I have dined there twice. The Don Cesar has similar pricing but is actually fine dining. And might I add that parking is free at both of these restaurants, I had to pay 15.00$ for non-beach Street parking through Park Mobile. read more

We stumbled in here in a chilly night right after sunset. Universe delivered. First of all it was quiet, a Sunday night, so we chose to sit at the bar! Lisa took care of us and she was the best. Dry sense of humor, matter of fact, authentic and patient. My husband asks lots of questions and can never decide. Second, any rest that names their drinks after all the staff's Angel pets, has my whole heart forever. Lisa said the burger was the best she has ever had and she wasn't wrong. Perfection! Used to love Grace. Had nit been for a while so went back a couple of weeks ago. While looking at the menu outside a lovely lady came up and told us we'd love it. Her son had bought the place & it was excellent. She was so sweet we went in. Sat at the bar for 15 minutes. The bartender was there and didn't even acknowledge us. We went to Grace per a recommendation from a local resident and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding, well prepared and had lovely presentation. I had the sea scallops which were excellent - great flavor, cooked perfectly and presented with root vegetables in a tasty sauce. My date had the shrimp scampi which he thought was also excellent. We both enjoyed the home made key lime pie which was to die for. Amy was our server and she was absolutely delightful and made the evening fun and engaging. We ate here with friends last night. This is the third time we've eaten here over the last few years. The last time was less than great and expensive for what you get but our friends wanted to go so we decided to try it again. I'm sad we did. First the good: The waitress was friendly and sweet. The artichoke appetizer was great. The wine is affordable The bad: The scallop entree at $42 was terrible. There were 5 or six tiny scallops with basically garish and a 4 thin pieces of carrots. It arrived very Luke warm and very bland. In my opinion most menu items are way overpriced. I left hungry. Ambience: we asked several times if the lights had a dimmer as it felt uncomfortably bright. Finally got it done after about 30 minutes or so. Then at 10pm sharp (it was a Saturday night) . Staff started coming In to the room we were sitting in and looking at us. When we asked one lady who looked like a manager if we should go she said " Oh. Stay as long as you want." Then just minutes later a man came in eyed us again and brought in a broom. A nice comment of like ... Is there anything else we can get for you? Thank you so much for coming this evening and we will closing in a few minutes would have MORE appropriate than the stares. hadn't been there for some time and have an out of town guest with me that had been there with me in previous years. i've always had a good meal there. not tonight. i had a salad for an appetizer and my friend the flatbread. the lettuce pieces were huge. the flatbread ordinary. my friend's filet ordered RARE came well done on just one side and medium on the inside. she was never asked to check it and the server disappeared before she could make her case known. we were never given bread but noticed other tables had it. my medium ordered burger could have been used as a hockey puck. i asked if they had A-1 and was told NO and the server walked off without suggesting anything else or giving me a chance to ask. we were charged for two cups of hot water for my tea, there was misinformation regarding the dessert. one thing that we did notice was that the food was very slow in coming out everywhere. it will be some time before we try grace again. read more

Grace is a true testament to resilience and excellence. After surviving 2 back to back hurricanes that devastated the area, they have reopened and served us the most delicious meal. We had the most amazing meal last night at Grace. After a couple months of eating fish sandwiches in the area what a delight. Grace is tucked in to a little side st off the beach filled with adorable shops. We ate at the bar and split the fried artichokes which I have to say was the best artichoke dish I've ever had ! My husband had the scallop dish and I had the special which was cobia fish prepared with soba noodles enoki mushrooms and bok choy both outstanding. We finished our meal by splitting the key lime pie also delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We're snowbirds living here in the area for several months and this place got best restaurant of the season for me!! Well done read more

Every star is earned on food alone. Seriously. We don't even need the ambiance or the service, heck we don't even need the complimentary table bread. We just need this sensational food ON THE BEACH. I had the pleasure of dining at Grace on a Friday night with a reservation. We were seated immediately and greeted shortly thereafter. In fact everything about the evening was incredibly speedy. Personally, I prefer longer wait times for food so I wasn't over-the-moon about it, but I can see how most people would probably love that. The cocktail program is pretty groovy if you like sweeter drinks. And if you don't, the wine list is thorough! The food is what we are here for and by goodness I couldn't be happier just typing this and reliving it all over again. The best bite of the night has got to be the scallops with leek sauce. In fact the sauces overall pretty much blew me away. The orange blossom reduction for the cured tomatoes WOW. The lemon butter sauce on the mushroom pasta WOW. Dare I say....this place is....AWESOME SAUCE?! (Nope, sorry I can't I take that back, I tried it on, the phrase just doesn't sound right coming from me, sorry you had to suffer through that). It was fantastic to see the Chef making his rounds just casually scoping out tables. You could feel his sense of pride and passion. Everything tasted even better after seeing him.
