I had a great experience at this fueling station. The customer service was phenomenal and was very clean and well kept.

I just purchased a car wash so I wanted to use the vacuum. I put in my dollar and it came on but the suction was so low that it did not pull any crumbs off my car floor. I went in to tell the teller and he comes out and says it's working - it's sucking my hand. I showed it to him that it was not pulling anything from my car floor and he just repeats' 'it's working'. He tells me it's bc the item on the floor was too heavy. I asked him who is his manager and says come back on Monday. So, I left and went in line to get my car wash. He comes and knocks on my window and throws the dollar inside my car. Needless to say, I can go to other shell gas stations. read more

I litteratly am just leaving this Shell gas station. For the most part I wouldn't even considered giving a gas station a review but I have to admit that the experience that I had was freaking amazing. With everything that is going on around the world: The Epedemic. Everyone is freaking out and panicking. People are being less patient and more angry than ever. However, the staff at this gas station have been steping up their game. I got to witness how one employee Amir went above and beyond to help customers who were having a hard time with their purchases and stress. I myself was feeling a little discomfort from certain people who came in short temptered but Amir was able to bring some sort of peace. I don't know the guy nore do I even know if he will read this but I can say we need more people like him: positive, friendly and who actually care about other's needs. The gas station itself is very clean, properly mantain and products are easy accessible for people's needs. If you are someone that likes to consistenly keep their vehicle clean then this is the right place for you! They offer membership plan for their awesome car wash. Their car wash is very convinient at a GREAT price. Come check this Shell Gas Station out. I for sure will be coming back to get my gas here, not because it's on my way to work (because it's not) but because I honestly can say that the staff here care about their jobs and people. I come here because most other gas stations and car washes are out of the way. They claim to have a $2 discount on any car wash every Tuesday, but I've only ever gotten a dollar off, many times. Not a huge fan of getting in or out of this place. Once you get in, great... it's a gas station. Lots of room. Huge police presence (some of you may feel safer because of this) and lots of processed treats to gorge yourself on while you dream of hitting the Powerball. I paid for gas and left. I don't really leave many reviews but I just had to after my visit today. When I went inside to pump gas I saw my regular cashier and we casually talked about how difficult it's been to get basic household essentials during this time. He asked me if I was short of anything at home and I told him milk, he instantly took my info down and said he would try to stock extra milk and let me know when I can come. He mentioned during these difficult times he and his staff are here to help any elderly or any person in need of basic things at this time. He said if you know anyone in need to call us. Great service. Great Employees. Normally gas stations have workers that have no sense of humor. Everyone that works here is always smiling and joking around and saying hello to the guests. Gas cost a little bit more than in south orange county, but considering we work right next door, we don't really have an option. It's great being right next to the freeway. We get gas, and hop onto the freeway and we are off. Oh yeah, we also buy lottery tickets here. We heard that they had a winner last year of over $500,000. Might be a lucky store : -) Watch out for the cops always sitting in the gas station getting ready to give you a ticket though for speeding or running a red light. read more

I don't normally gas up at Shell, but a friend needed gas so we stopped at this station which is located just off the 91 Fwy @ the Imperial Hwy exit. Conveniently located near the fwy. Seems cheaper compared to most stations in Los Angeles. I'm not sure how it compares to Orange County gas stations. It was relatively clean and I also noticed music coming out of speakers on the actual gas pump. I haven't seem that before. I thought it was pretty cool, but maybe my normal gas station is just out-dated. read more

This is the place to go if you want a 3rd world experience in OC. Perhaps it's because it's just south of the 91. Most of the pumps have their glass (where the credit card info shows) deeply etched with gang graffiti. If you need a receipt for gas, don't plan on getting it at the pump. The receipt printers are usually broken or out of paper, meaning you'll have to walk inside for that. Once inside, it helps to communicate if you know another language - Urdu perhaps. The Sunday attendant basically doesn't speak English (so much for the E-verify program). Ask a basic question ("Will the receipts ever print at the pumps again?") and you just get a head shake - nope, he doesn't understand. Speak very slowly ("Pump 4 - need receipt") and you MIGHT get a receipt in a few minutes. Good luck. read more

So, I almost always go to Shell. I prefer they're Premium gas over any of the other Petrol stations. So with that out of the way, let me tell you that these guys are nice. I can't vouch for every Shell station, but I like the people here. The bathroom had some fish art tiles next to the toilet and I just said, "You know what? At least they tried to be aesthetic.". It made me laugh and I figured, if they can put a smile on my face with something as simple as fish tile, imagine what they can do if they had permission to go all out and "artify" the whole place. So Shell, please, read this and keep up the great work. I'd love to see a finished product next time. Don't know why I was compelled to review this place, but I guess it made a weird, yet effective impact on me. Go Shell! read more

The only gas station I know of that smells like french fries. The wind carries it over from the In-N-Out ten yards from the pumps and I have to resist the urge to grab some the whole time I'm there. It's the closest gas station to the Imperial Highway exit off the 91 so it's a little pricey. The mini mart is pretty stocked with anything you might need. The regular employees are pretty friendly, but the manager is rude. I had a duplicate transaction show up on my bank account and he refused to look in the computer to see what was up. The duplicate eventually fell off, but it's just not good customer service to basically tell me to stop bothering him and go away. I work right around the corner so I end up going here on the way home if I'm running on low, but I would go elsewhere if there were other choices on the way to the freeway. read more

For serving a simple, day-to-day function this place manages to be a notably bad gas station. I am a regular customer here, against my better judgement, but they are the only gas station on one leg of my usual route. They are fortunate to be the only (remaining) gas station on a fairly major intersection, and I am a terrible gas procrastinator so sometimes I find myself with 1/16 of a tank on that part of my route and just need to get the gas. They are the worst offender I know of for having worn out, hardened squeegees. Squeegees so bad that after you wet a window down and try to squeegee it, you find out the thing doesn't work at all, it just kind of smears water around, and you're worse off than if you hadn't bothered trying to clean it in the first place. They also have persistent problems with the latching mechanisms on their nozzles, so I often discover I need to stand there holding the trigger instead of being able to multitask and figure out if the squeegees are usable while my car gets filled up. This has been a persistent problem with their equipment since the station was remodeled a couple years ago; one day the latches don't work, then a few weeks later I'll use the same pump and they work again. Ultimately this is the equipment manufacturer's fault, but this is the only station where I can remember having this problem, so they should either sort it out with the vendor or be extra vigilant about having spare parts and keeping the pumps in working order. read more

I come here every single time I need gas!!! The prices and the service is amazing, and they are always helpful if anything is needed. I never seen it dirty, so it is a very clean station compared to where I have went before. OMG OMG there carwash is amazing, I have a monthly membership! Nothing special about this gas station but it does the job. It's kinda tough getting in and out due to the "no u turn" on la Palma rule so you have to pull into in n out, flip a b and make two rights. The mini mart does NOT have booze due to religious reasons. Car washes are $2 off on Tuesdays. read more

When one stops to grab gas on the way to work and walks up to the cashier line to pay, all is heard is the cashier talking about his multiple women with the patron at the front of the line. (And yes- the other cashier laughed to join in on the inappropriate conversation.) Did I really have to be a woman and walk up to listen to men discussing this topic openly. Very unprofessional Shell station, and the main cashier's name was PK. He didn't know how to communicate how to start the transaction with no regard to ask if I wanted to use any gas rewards. The prices here are well above the standard rate as they are on a busy corner. Sorry not sorry as I won't be back to grab quick gas in the future at this location with the vulgar staff members and lack of customer service. read more

This place is the cleanest and has the best customer service ever. They treat the employees like family, one of my friends worked there, he always talked about how great the family is. I go to the station at the corner of La Palma and Imperial. I have never been disappointed with the car wash UNTIL yesterday 7/8/18. I chose the $8.00 wash which does not include soap. I went inside thinking there was something wrong with the car wash and the very disinterested cashier explained that this car wash was just a rinse??!!. If I could give this place a - I would!! Paid $9.00 to do nothing! Dirt and dust and bird poop still on car! There is no difference from when I first pulled in..except my wallet is now $9.00 lighter! I didn't expect a great wash, but I did expect it to be cleaner than when I first came in. It sprayed foam but it had no pressure behind it to wash off the dirt. I stopped by this Shell since I was in the area - it's a great place to fill up gas and grab snacks at. The gas price was fair and the pumps were clean. While waiting, I stopped inside for a snack and found Dippin' Dots - a piece of childhood (that you usually can't find these days). I normally do not take the time to leave reviews. I also do not leave reviews after going to a place just once. I have revisited this particular Shell gas station for over 10 years now. What always catches my attention are the same 2 things, first the place is immaculately clean, second the staff is amazing. They are polite, friendly, and most of all helpful. Oh and did I forget to mention their amazing Car Wash. I wish all Gas stations had all the great qualities this one has. You know this Gas Station just has a very positive and happy Ora to it. I love going to it and Highly recommend it to everyone. If you have never put Gas here, or washed your car, or grabbed a few snacks, next time you need any of the three try out this place. Service is always very friendly. However I do get a little bit peeved when the gas station pumps are closed down as they are the only gas station accessable for at least a mile or two. I see this gas station alot as I pass it each morning and evening and it seems to have the pumps closed more often than I see any other place closed. I don't know if it's because they get so much business that they run out of gas or what... but whatever it is they should figure out how to be open for their customers. This place is horrible! The cashier, Parag, was extremely rude and arrogant. I went to get gas and a car wash and wanted to use my Ralph's club points because I have over 800. He entered my phone number and said I had no points an he was not giving me the discount that I deserved. I asked him to type in my number again because I knew I had points available and he refused to check the number or to try it again. He was so rude to my husband and I that we left and went somewhere else. Btw, when I got home I checked and I had 863 points available so he was obviously wrong. I don't really know how to accurately review a gas station. I mean, what do you say? To be honest this gas station tends to have a little higher priced gas then usual, but that could be due to the or the location being right off the freeway. It does have a drive-thru car wash which does come in very handy. They also have a pretty good sized store for snacks and drinks etc. It's the closest gas station to my house so therefore I use it the most. read more
