I went in for a face threading and was pleasantly impressed considering previous reviews read however, I was desperate as I had a last minute event in which I was not prepared. I went on a Saturday, middle and didn't have a wait at all. There was one other customer getting her hair treated and a hairdresser there at the time. After my service(s) were completed, I was offered a customer card where a free service is offered after so many visits. The prices were reasonable and staff were friendly. WARNING: this place is under new management!!! Upon walking in, I overheard the new manager fussing at a customer over trying to use her filled up punch card to receive the free threading she had earned. The manager was so rude and condescending to this lady repeating, "M'am we are under new management! We are under new management!". Then she took the woman's card and tore it up! Next, it was my turn to have my brows done. She fumbled around with the thread like this was her first time. She hardly took off any hairs and my brows looked the same as when I walked in. I didn't say anything, because better safe than sorry in that circumstance. No one else was working that day to fix them. A month later I took my daughter down the road to Aisha's to get out brows done, but there was a 45 minute wait. Since her 8th grade dance was the next day, I decided too risk our fate and try Sheila's again hoping someone else would be working. WRONG! Same TALENTLESS woman. This time, she scalped the top of my brow and made the other look weird underneath. Then, she took a chunk out of my daughter's. THIS WOMAN DOES NOT HAVE THE SKILLS TO DO HER JOB!!!! Literally horrible experience. I got an appointment for 5:30 at 5:00, and showed up at 5:32. They did not make it seem like it was a big deal that I was showing up at 5:30 for a 6:00 close on the phone, but were very upset in person. They didn't know who I was or why I was there. They were cleaning up. On the phone, they said their oil massage service included a 20 minute massage and a 5 minute steam. In person, they insisted that it was 10 and 10. I asked for a hair wash along with my OIL MASSAGE (duh), and they said it was an extra $15. On the phone, they only said that they didn't have time to blow dry, which was fine by me, and didn't mention anything about price. The girl was inconsiderate and absolutely inflexible. I was visiting from Austin and found this place right next to a massage spa I had just visited. Since I hadn't gotten any threading services done in a while, I popped in on a whim and I'm so very glad I did!! This was honestly the best eyebrow threading experience I've had in a while. Most places I've been too usually leave my eyebrows slightly uneven by taking out too much or to little on one side or the other. My brows were threaded so nicely! They came out looking SO SHARP and even :) It's a shame they're not located in Austin but whenever I come back to Katy I will certainly be returning here as I've found "my place" for threading! If I could give less than one star I would. Sheila trimmed my hair in December and it was great. Today she wasn't there so another woman helped me. We agreed on 2-3 inches and she cut more than that. I have been going here since 2017. Today, I went in and had 2 of the purple punch cards. One had 4 punches and the other had 2 punches. I have been using these, up until today. At checkout, when I presented the purple punch cards the employee took both and tore them up, informed me that there is new management and that they are no longer valid. There is no signs saying this, no change of name, and no mention of the change when I arrived. The employee then gave me only one black punch card with 4 punches. Upon arrival, I noticed the shop was very quant and welcoming. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly vibes. The woman who did my eyebrows name had started with a B. I completely forgot the actual name. It was short and sweet. Sorry Miss Lady! But all in all, she was very kind, patient and understanding, being that this was my first time getting my eyebrows done in a year, after a long growth/waiting process. Thank you for the nice experience, Mrs. 'B,' really like my brows. I used the 'check in' to receive $2.00 off my brows, which was a total $6 because she said it was originally $8. The woman also used some nice aloe gel from Trader Joe's, at the end of the process, which made me realize that I needed some aloe gel myself! Heading to Trader Joe's asap. Very nice experience. I'm a regular now. While their threading services are great (and very fairly priced), I decided to try eyebrow tinting one day. As my eyebrows are rather sparse, this didn't quite take the way I wanted it to, however, Marium suggested microblading. I had already done a fair amount of research (mostly via photos and social media) on the subject, and was eager to try it. Two sessions are standard, the first and the touch-up, but I went back a third time and I have to say I'm quite pleased with the result. I still fill my eyebrows in for weekend outings and weddings, but I don't have to touch them before work, which has saved at least 10 minutes to my morning routine. read more

These ladies are great! I've been going here regularly for a few months and I've always been satisfied. And after they're done threading, they rub this salve on your eyebrows and give you a really short eyebrow rub, so relaxing! =) Super cheap, too. $6! (The eyebrow kiosk at the Katy Mills mall charges $12!) But be sure to bring cash. Otherwise there is a $10 minimum for credit cards. You don't need to make an appointment, and rarely do I ever have to wait. Okay, yeah, eyebrow threading is a little uncomfortable, but so is plucking and waxing and all the other things we women do because we're nuts. But threading is totally worth it and I think all ladies should look into it. If you've never been before, then I recommend letting your brows grow out for at least 2-3 weeks before going so they have something to work with. Oh, also, FYI... In one place on Sheila's website it says they're located at Mason and Westheimer, but that's wrong. They're in the shopping center at the corner of Mason and Cinco Ranch Blvd. read more

I used to go to aisha's in sugar land ($7/$3 for eyebrow/upper lip). However, after multiple bad experiences there, I was in desperate need of a new place that was also closer. I walked in around 630pm on Tuesday and I was the only one. Jeet took a few minutes to thread my eyebrows and upper lip. She didn't ask me what I wanted, but I guess it's self explanatory. She worked quickly but definitely was less rough than those women at aisha's. My skin was a little red afterwards, which is normal, but not nearly as red/bumpy as before. After aisha's, I wouldn't run any errands bc it would be so red/bumpy/itchy. I also like the shape of my eyebrows from Jeet. The next time I come, I'll definitely ask for her. Oh, and you get a punch card- so after 5 threadings, you get the 6th free, whereas Aisha's is after 9, get the 10th free. read more

Fuzzy Caterpillar Eyebrows. I had them. Big, ridiculous fuzzy caterpillar eyebrows. I don't know what made me think that I could get away with a professional eyebrow service every once in a blue moon while doing some regular maintenance in between. I'm no eyebrow expert and in no way should be allowed to shape my own eyebrows. As a matter of fact, I've over plucked my left brow and I'm now left with a tiny patch where hair should be growing, but isn't. I have allergic reactions to wax so my only other professional alternative is to get my brows threaded. I hate getting threaded in the mall and here in Katy, the only alternative I knew of was going to Aisha's. But my eyelid was actually cut the last time I was there, so Aisha's shall see me no longer. My friend actually drove me to Sheila's after seeing the horribly funky condition my eyebrows were in. A few weeks later and my eyebrows were threatening to lapse into the same fuzzy caterpillar state they were in before Sheila therapy. I kept making excuse to try and go. Like for example, "I need to stop at Target and Sheila's is on the way," or, "I really need to stop at the HEB Plus to find blood oranges... and Sheila's is on the way!" So I finally had an extra long lunch and made my way out to Shiela's with the excuse that I was getting lunch out that way (but really I was getting lunch there because I really wanted to go to Sheila's) and got my eyebrows threaded for their first routine maintenance. It hurts so much less when you do it on a regular basis and for six bucks Sheila's can't be beat! read more

Guess I am giving low ratings today. Minus three stars because I am pretty big on sanitation and the woman dos not sanitize her hands. I'm a licensed professional so I def look for these little things. * Also noticed scissors just laying on the counter and didn't notice them being sanitized with anything. The threading itself was Great! Painless and there was attention to detail. I would come back again Bc her work was great but I need some more cleanliness. Also- not a fan of needing a minimum to run a card. That's just me, could be inconvenient if you don't happen to have cash. Updated to 4 stars. Today was positive. I only can comment on the eyebrow threading here since that's the only service that I've received. I've visited this location 4-5 times over the years. I usually only go when I'm in town, and I really have no other choice. They do an okay job at my eyebrows. They never ask how I would like my brows to look, but then again I go frequently to get my brows threaded that it's obvious of the shape and that I just need a clean up. They typically end up slightly uneven--something I usually can hide with a little bit of eyebrow make up. When I go back to my original eyebrow place in San Antonio, they always comment that they have to fix the unevenness of my brows (so I promise that it's not in my head). Only this last time I went about a month or so ago did the young lady (who I've never had before) do a good job. She told me that she followed my eyebrow pencil make up, so that might be a reason why I ended up liking it. I'll probably return because the price is fair, it's convenient when I'm in town, and they do a better job than I would probably do on my own brows. Hopefully my future experiences will be as good as the last one. If it is, I will update my review to reflect that. read more

I would not recommend this place. I went in to get sm little streaks of blue put in since I already got highlights at a different place recently. I ended up with almost a full head of blue - half of it covering the blonde I paid for before, throwing that $ down the drain. So then they tried fixing it which still didn't look good - some of my hair ended up green. As if that's not enough, I ended up paying $ for having my hair ruined twice & destoying the expensive hair job I already had done. As soon as I got home I realized it was even worse than I thought - random huge chunks of blue, some strands were halfway done...I mean it's horrible! Please save your $ & your hair. & as far as the comment - I was not confused at all. We discussed exactly what I wanted (including the color) before we began & what I wanted was actually repeated back to me beforehand as well. I understand you must protect your business, but I'm just telling the truth. It's not another's fault nor business how much I decide to pay for my hair to be done - it is, however, the salon's fault who ruins the job I just paid for. Besides, one should never leave a salon with random blue spots, half-finished pieces (not to mention green) in your hair. It's been noticed by everyone who's seen it. read more
