This is what $120 will get you. Gel X set and pedicure, I originally went to this salon because I heard there was a new Latina owner, Nancy, and wanted to book with her and support her business. Ended up being serviced by other technicians instead. Gel X nails looked okay, but the overall application isn't very clean, the shaping and polish are both uneven. $60 for a pedicure that felt very rushed, the French tip on my toes came out uneven and messy. I specifically asked for a pink underlay, but what I got is basically clear, and the SHAPING I know my toe nails are very little so I always ask for a file rather than cut. Despite my request my nails still ended up looking very small and not shaped the way I asked. You can especially see it on my fourth toe, which looks noticeably different compared to the same toe on my other foot. The results didn't reflect the $120 price point. I hope others experience is better than mine. I saw this place pop up on my ticktock & I thought it would be nice to try a new spot instead of the same old salon I go to. The selling point for me was that they are Latina owned (manicurist was not Latina). Their interior was very cute, right up my alley. The salon is out of my way but I said why not? They are located in a very small shopping center so finding parking is a nightmare. I walk in & was immediately greeted. Yes, so far so good. There were no prices posted anywhere & I had to ask for a price list. No biggie. I was asked what I wanted & was told there would be a wait. No problem. After sitting there for 20-30 minutes a girl comes in wanting to get two of her nails fixed. The lady told her it's very busy right now if she could come back later. The customer tells her no. She couldn't come back & she couldn't wait. They proceed to take her before me & fix her nails. Upsetting but she was in & out. I then sit down in the pedicure chair & the woman tells the woman who'll be doing my pedicure that I want a regular pedicure. To make this part short, the woman asks me at least 4 times what pedicure I want as if I was going to change my mind. Which is what sets me off. She continues to ask me if I want to add on all this extra stuff. No! I don't! Just a regular pedicure please! She starts the pedicure & she cuts my nails with cuticle trimmers, not nail clippers. Whatever, let it go. She very light pushes back my cuticles & barely trims them. It's as if she didn't care. She just wanted it to be over to get her tip. She's buffing my nails & as she goes she just dabbed the buffer. Like no effort whatsoever. Fast forward to the paint. She finished painting & when it half dries decides to go over it again with clear coat smearing the half dry top coat so now it's streaky. I had to ask her to fix the paint on a few nails. She then proceeds to do another coat of paint & another coat of top coat. Not what I asked for. This is already long so I'll move onto my manicure. Oh my gosh. Didn't push back my cuticles enough, flooded my cuticles with paint, I have gel dried on my skin & my nail isn't full covered with polish. At this point I'm so annoyed & may face can't hide it. She then tries to talk to me & make conversation. I don't want to talk! She sees I have my earphones in & I told her I'm on the phone. She then asks me if I want my eyebrows done. Heck no!! $63 later I walk out of there so unhappy. I will not be going back or recommending this spot to anyone. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars! I tried booking with Nancy twice. The first time she forgot I had an apt with her, so I had to go somewhere else. I thought I would try again so I reached out to her on Monday to make an appointment for today. I had to conform twice today. She asked me a hour before my appointment if I could come in a hour later. So I show up at 4 and there was someone in her seat. Nancy approached me and said she had to do someone else's nails. Mind you I already had an appointment with her at that time and she asked if I wanted to wait. I said no and left. This little girl is very unprofessional. She wasted my time twice. I would not recommend coming to this business at all! This is my first time leaving a review because of how unprofessional and uncomfortable this situation was handled.The staff was great in the beginning until I unfortunately did not like the out come of my services which I did contact them directly the next morning to handle the situation instead of leaving a bad review... The nails were horrible and the nail tech had joked around informing me I possibly may not like my nails which I could not see since I was getting my lashes serviced at the same time. Once I was done with the services I received I did leave right away after paying because I did not want to end their night with a bad complaint since I was one of they're last clients and after the fact they did take a long time with the service. I waited to contact them the next morning to see if I would just give it a chance but due to how horribly everything came out I did call asking for a full refund or at least half of what I paid but I did not want the service re-done at all. The way these managers will treat you and waste your time is ridiculous! I was promised half a refund through Zelle then they informed me I had to go in person which I did! Once I came in person I did have my sister with me and my sister was recording the interaction they then had an altercation had followed up after they seen the camera rolling. They were very hostile about everything and very rude. They then reached out and informed me I was not receiving the refund due to my sister's actions(recording) then , threatened to file a police report against us if we were to upload anything regarding this situation. Let me start off by saying being greeted was really nice but once sitting and hearing nacy talk the vibes shifted ,theres no pricing here either on the walls and when I asked Nancy would just say a price or say ill give u discount!!! and then their lash lady comes from the back room hair all messed up cuz she was taking a nap in her lash room!!!goes back and come back out make up done i found that really unprofessional. The girl who did my gel x nails is so sweet but she is beginner her nail polish application is pretty bad, she adds to much polish and doesnt evenly distribute it, doesnt clean up the sides and left so much extra residue. Nancy was very sweet but I dont like how to talks to her Asian staff. I understand there might be a language barrier but Susan speaks good eniglish and understands , while Susan was doing my toes Nancy comes up to Susan and tells her once shes done doing my pedi to cross her name off and re write it so that she can see everyone is getting a turn, Susan just asked "should i write a p or m to show they did pedi or mani" nancy says No just write it and then cross it off but really seemed bothered ( you had to be there to see the faces she was making) and while Susan was talking Nancy turns around and walks away ignoring her and began to talk louder to the other nail tech explaining the same thing and it really bothered me because Susan was mid sentence and then just got quiet and turned around to work on me. It just seemed really unorganized and unprofessional the nail tech didnt even know where anything was and I asked for long nails and got medium i was told i was getting a exfoliating scrub and would be charged 35 and didnt receive the scrub and I didnt notice the size untill my right hand had the gel x nails on and because i was rushing to go get my daughter from the after school program. In all i was charged 95 instead of 90. Was supposed to be charged 35 for the regular pedi no gel and exfoliation but got charged $40 and 55 for medium gel x when I wanted long . SUSAN DID A GREAT JOB ON MY TOES no complaints on her . After sharing my complaints they didn't seem to care just that they try to keep it professional and i said it was unprofessional for them not to tell me it was the nail techs 2nd day because i would of respectfully declined and that they should of properly checked my nails and watched her to guide her so im guessing all those pretty nails on Instagram are nancy not the other workers and i said "I won't be coming back thank you and good luck" and they blocked me on Instagram. Please read the reviews before coming to this place. Suzanne did my manicure. She did a great job and was very nice. I didn't get the girls name who did my pedicure but she was also very nice (they were both Asian, not being discriminative). However, their Hispanic co-worker decided to pick a fight with Suzanne during my mani. Very petty, miscommunication stuff that did not warrant a fight. S was super sweet and I did not sense any rudeness from her but the other girl kept saying she was rude. S went to talk to her and the girl said "you're rude, go away, I don't want to talk to you." They can hate each other all they want but I felt very uncomfortable being in the middle of a fight. Very unprofessional and S definitely deserves a better workplace! Also, they advertise the deluxe pedi and make it look super fancy, but I didn't receive everything they advertise. I paid $45 for a pedi I could get cheaper anywhere else. read more

I came here like maybe almost 2 months ago & I really wish I enjoyed my visit, I got a pedicure and what really bothered me was that the water was cold. Not warm but COLD the lady also didn't do the greatest job like everything she did I could have easily done my self but better. (Amber was the name) (Heidi was the female doing my wife toes) Amber didn't know what to do on the nails ruined the set so many times. Then hearing my wife come home and cry to me about how this salon made her feel was unacceptable. Educate your staff with manners. Why do hire females without experience. After calling three times and not one return calls from my complaints or leaving messages for the manager to receive. Especially those two females. If I could give this place -5 stars I would I came in today 12/5/23 at 6:00 to get a fill and pedicure they said that was fine over the phone so I come in . I get seated in the chair to start my pedicure the water was not coming out hot so they move me to the next chair and the same thing. They said that because they are washing the hot water is being used that only cold water comes out if that was ok. I said yes that fine so I stayed I then told her if she would like I can come back to do my nails tomorrow she said no she has time so I said ok and started getting my pedicure as I'm watching this lady do my pedicure she is shaking and doesn't bother to ask what I want or need she did not bother to clean the sides of my toes to get any ingrown or skin out she just trimmed and filed and did a callus removal, then put white gel polish and called it a day now mind yu it is now 6:40 and the lady that is doing my fill is nice and asking me what it is I want i show her a picture of a basic design and she says no she can't do that so I say ok that's fine I show her another one and she said yes that is fine so she starts to prep my nails to apply the acrylic and ever is fine but once she starts applying the acrylic she's using small amounts and placing it where ever not taking her time or even caring where it is applied so I'm looking at the acrylic and once she's done applying it on one hand I'm checking it out not saying anything yet cause I'm telling myself to trust the process well she's finally done applying the acrylic on all my fingers and she starts to buff and file she still hasn't asked me the shape I wanted and just starts to shape them however and doesn't bother to smooth out the rest of the acrylic on my nails so I ask her hey is it ok if yu can shape my nails more square she says yes that's fine I shit yu not she grabs the file and files twice and moves on.... Now I'm irritated as hell but still telling myself trust the process well she's finally done prepping the nails and looks at the clock which is only 7:20 she tells me you need to come back tomorrow to do the design that she can apply clear coat and they will finish tomorrow well I said that was fine thinking she would charge me for the nails because they where not done to my liking but she still ended up charging me 105 +10 dollar tip my husband gave in total I leave crying cause I'm frustrated that I'm going home with uglier nails than what I came in with and top it all off I have a very important business meeting in the morning and don't feel I should pay for someone else mistakes and that they shouldn't let people walk out with ugly nails or unfinished work we go for a service to be completed and if they are on a time limit they should say that from the start... read more

I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Lily at Sheila Nails. She was thorough, did a great job on my manicure before she did a fill on my gel nails. My nails look beautiful! The salon has evidently had a renovation, and it looks very nice. This is my first time visiting Sheila Nails. The staff uses face masks, and each station is divided by a plastic screen. Although Covid is slowly going away, I felt very safe at Sheila Nails considering the respect that the staff has towards Covid and infections. I totally respect that. And I wish more places would be respectful of the virus, and maybe if that were the case we wouldn't have as much illness as we are again experiencing! Thank you to Lily, very sweet. read more

It pains me to write this review. Let me begin by stating that I bite my nails and I understand that it's very difficult for a manicurist to make busted cuticles look pretty. I disliked the way my nails came out. The gel is smeared all over my fingers, the gel strokes look weird. Again, I understand that my cuticles are ugly but I've been to other places where the manicurist makes my nails nicer. As far as the actual nail service, I'd give it 3 stars. The only reason that I gave this place 4 stars as opposed to 3 is the nice little chat I was having with the manicurist. The manicurist, Lilly, was super pleasant. We were talking about coffee the whole time and neighborhoods. I'd honestly be back because she was good company. I've been to other nail salons where the manicurist are really abrasive or mean. Personally, sometimes I'm won over by personality and I'll continue to patronize an establishment if the employees are awesome. This is definitely the case here. Ask what I wanted I told them pedi and a full set, waited about 20 min before I was attended. Guy cut my skin and was bleeding pretty decently he says oh because I haven't been in a long time. ( I go about every 2 1/2 weeks) today makes 1 week two days since I went my acrylics are already looking rough! Lol one fell off today as well. All of the nails are already lifting.
