Not only was he too impatient to get my order correct (he rang up the soft drink I placed on the counter, scanned my Sheetz card and told me the cost without adding two items I asked for. He then proceeded to get only on of the items, scanned it and placed it on the counter. Of course he had to scan it again because I requested 2 with a "please". He gave me my total, went to get the second item, came back, handed me my receipt, and walked away without so much as a thank you. I might add he left my purchase on the counter without asking me if I needed a bag. I did. Thank goodness a co-worker picked up his slack. Word to Nick... I've been in customer service. This is the closest Sheetz to my house, and I will go here for gas when I fill up, as my car runs better on Sheetz for some reason. They used to be really cheap compared to the other gas stations, but lately, they have been on the expensive side of gas. I guess they raised the price way up to eliminate the scores of people in line waiting for gas. This Sheetz has decent food, but one thing I learned is don't go here. I honestly go for walks, and I will walk past this Sheetz one mile to the Sheetz at Atlantic & Dixie Forest. Why, the amount of time I spend walking is about the waiting for food at this location. Here are some examples. I ordered a smoothie, and it took 28 minutes for me to get a smoothie. You would think that they had to go milk a cow, and then wait for it to freeze, but they didn't. After waiting 10 minutes for them to start making it, the manager called the people from kitchen to ring up customers. So they stopped making everybody's order that they were in the middle of just to ring up the long line of customers. The problem is, that made the line of people waiting for food even longer, and their wait even longer. So they stopped in the middle of making my smoothie to check customers out, then came back to finish mine. I honestly could have walked to McDonalds and back before they made my smoothie. Another occasions was when I ordered just tater tots. It took 15 minutes for them to serve tater tots, and they were not even hot. A separate occasion, I ordered a burger with paid extra toppings on them, and they left them all off, which I didn't notice till I got home, which meant I had to drive back. So while this location is really convenient to my work, it has many kinks to work out. After the initial excitement from their Grand opening, I have yet to see any manager here. Getting gas has become a nightmare and with my tank being on the passenger side of my vehicle, almost impossible at this tiny location. Causing me to give up and go down the road to Dixie forest instead. Why is the concept of directional lines for gas something I keep suggesting but they have yet to do something about? People in different directions and as I sit here inside watching cars try to back up or go around it's definitely an accident waiting to happen. I visited this location this morning and was in disbelief at how the women's rest roomed looked after having to use it badly at the time, then realizing there was no tissue in the stall. This is probably the busiest Sheetz I have ever been to. There are just not enough pumps for the number of people that go here. This is especially true since a large number of people leave their car in front of the pump while they go inside to prepay for gas, buy scratch-offs, and "large" bottles of beer. The store is smaller inside than other Sheetz. You still can order food and sit in the small dining area. They also have a good selection of cold drinks. read more

The people working there tonight made my day. I woke up middle of the night hungry, pregnant, craving a bagel with cream cheese. Opened the fridge, no cream cheese. Sheetz is one of the only places that still does 24hr days so I go; hopeful. I couldn't figure out how to order the cream cheese without getting a "bread" option. I am allergic to gluten. I explained to them they could keep the english muffin and croissant to eat themselves but that my pregnant belly wanted the cream cheese to take home. They voided off the breads and only made me pay for the cream cheese. Cut my cost in half and I got home to have a delicious gluten free bagel with cream cheese. Food: I just started eating at Sheetz. I'm not sure what I expected but their burgers are awful, their chicken tenders are meh, and the fries are bland and double the cost of other places. Service: it sometimes takes a while to get orders filled, even when there is no line. Staff: friendly enough but they don't do anything when you let them know something is wrong, like no TP in the bathroom or no napkins in the dining room. Cleanliness: for some reason they're slow to service the ladies' bathroom, which often goes without toilet paper or seat covers in multiple stalls for 2 or more consecutive days. One of the two sinks does not work at all. The staff takes a while to clean up after rude slobs who leave spilled drinks and trash on the tables and floors. Sometimes they get ants because spills aren't cleaned up quickly enough. Other: The wifi is fast and reliable but only works when you're inside the restaurant. It is always FREEZING in here (70 or below). That's the most frequently overheard complaint in the dining room - that it's uncomfortably cold - and I agree. They definitely don't want people sticking around to chat or use the wifi so they freeze us out. Crowded and often loud. Really uncomfortable chairs. read more

The store was packed with people and they had 4 people cooking and only 1 working cashier. The line was at least 6 people long and when a second cashier finally came out of the back he went to the drink machine and fixed himself a drink before waiting on any customers. But the worst part of the whole visit was that he had his pants below his butt and all u could see were his boxers. Now where I grew up its unacceptable to even be seen in public that way. I would not even buy a drink here. I walked in the bathroom only to walk right back out. The floors through the the store and bathrooms were sticky. The urinals and toilets were not clean. Trash cans overflowing. The corners and edges of the floor were all dirty and unacceptable. Non of the staff looked approachable. None of the staff communicated with any customers.
