Only one thing- This place absolutely needs more review! They have some of the mean bowls and we ended up trying two of them. Salmon and Kale, Pachamama bowl. 5/5. The squash, beetroot and kale were steaming hot from Pachamama. Thanks for adding shaved Brussels sprouts. That's my new favorite now. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Chips and Salsa didn't feel freshly made but still were surprisingly perfect that our kid gobbled it all. Just right seasoning ( which have been hit and miss in all other places for last couple of days) We also had vanilla and affogato. Parking- no dedicated parking lot. Street parking or public parking is the only option. Place is open till late and had definitely had lot of late nighters drinking. We ordered one drink - hibiscus margarita. It was well made. The service was quick and we saw dishes going out one after another too. The playlist this evening was the best part of our dinner! We were vibing at the songs loved by us 80s/90s kids. Thanks for playing all those songs I haven't listened in two decades. Only missing was a little space to shake our legs and dance away. Hope I get to return to try out more. When we arrived on a Sunday night we waited for a while before a server was free to seat us. Quite a bit of options for meat eater and vegetarians alike. So that was great for the 5 of us with different dietary restrictions. Service was friendly, food was good without breaking the bank. I had the ahi tuna poke bowl and it was exactly what I needed. Full stop on the 'Pink Unicorn' the rest of the menu is negligible. My bf wanted some fish (?) so we got a side of salmon skewer and like 4 drinks to kick off an unforgettable girl dinner. Balanced macros I think. Caesar was good, orange thing was good PINK UNICORN WAS INCREDIBLE ! Except for the part where my bf kept drinking all the strawberry daiquiri to pace me like a narc. Man, I had such low-key expectations for this place and it's solidly delivered. What a fun great summer vibe chill Tofino hangout burger place. I also tried the tacos and they were delicious but those burgers damn seriously remind me in the best way of In-N-Out. Something very classy and simple about them. Love the fire pits in the chill vibe of this place. All the locals are eating here no matter the day everyone clearly loves this hangout. Arrived on a rainy, cold afternoon, Shed was warm and cozy and we were seated immediately. I ordered a beer and the Boss a tea. We both ordered a Royale burger and were served within 10 minutes. A super tasty burger with fresh pickles and bacon as well as cheese and white onion. The fries were a good size and were an awesome fish and chip style, crispy outsides and fluffy insides. This is a must try spot in Tofino! There's only a handful of restaurants in town and you must stop by here! Wasn't expecting much from this restaurant but I was blown away! The crispy tofu is a great side packed with flavour! Not something I'd typically order at a burger joint but I'm glad I ordered it. Initially drove here for burgers but left with salads instead! I cannot get over how good they were! The flavours all paired so well! Ordered to go and our food was ready in maybe 30 minutes. It's packed, but don't be fooled, there are very few other options in town. Service is friendly but not particularly effective. It took half an hour to get our meal because our server was also the bartender, and chatty. Our food sat on the bar for ten minutes before we got it, so it was cold. You'd think a business would appreciate service from a group of 15+ in late January, the dead of winter, when traffic is typically slower. From the moment we walked in to celebrate a friend's birthday, the space itself was clean, but the atmosphere was not welcoming. We were met with judgment and disdain almost immediately. Staff repeatedly reminded us that they are not a bar, and several people were cut off after three drinks or fewer. Yes, we were celebrating a birthday and having fun. No, we were not belligerent, disrespectful, or out of control. Also worth mentioning, there is a bird inside the building that freely relieves itself on guests. But hey, apparently it is not a zoo either. The most disappointing part. After cutting us off and essentially forcing us out, management proceeded to call other nearby restaurants to bad-mouth our group and tell them not to serve us. Impressive work. The waitress assigned to our table was noticeably rude and dismissive from the start--short answers, zero warmth, and an overall attitude that made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Took a day drip over to Torino while staying in Ucluelet for a long weekend and found ourselves starving so we stopped at at the Shed for a nice lunch. We sat outside right next to a heat lamp that I was sure would overwhelm me with heat, but it ended up being quite nice. I ordered the poké bowl and based on the price, expected to get more food than I did. It was just enough food for the afternoon, but was a smaller dish than I was used to for the price paid. The ahi was sweet and tangy which kind of threw me off a bit. I think I was hoping for less tang and being able to taste more of the pure ahi flavor. Maybe a little more umami flavor? I don't know. It wasn't what I was hoping for. The giant mound of seaweed salad on top WAS, however, delicious and exactly what I wanted. The hubby got a burger and fries. He enjoyed the burger, in particular, the potato bun it was sandwiched in, and I quite enjoyed the few crispy fries he was willing to share with me :D Our waitress was very friendly and service was attentive and great. Good eats and great vibe! After a few hours walking around Tofino, this is a wonderful spot to grab a beer and burger. There can be a bit of a wait since it's not huge inside and have your vax cards available to show (and a good thing). Service was attentive and friendly, and some good tunes playing in the background. Now for the food... The chicken sando was stellar...with a great flavor, moist and crunch of the breading. I went for a side salad to be healthy with fresh green, light vinaigrette... but I had to tax some of the fries (fresh, crisp, right saltiness) from my kids meals. I can't let those really good, fresh fried spuds go to waste! I think these are better fries than Wildside Grill by the way. The spicy chicken sandwich was a hit. I can see why it recommended by the server. The poke bowl was flavorful but I'd personally stick to the handhelds. Beer selection was good and rounded out the meal. My boyfriend is a huge fan of tuna poke bowls, and he was impressed with the Poke Bowl at Shed. We had been travelling all day and the Shed was a great place to sit down and eat. The bathrooms were a bit confusing, as there are no signs at the doors and the light inside the bathroom is extremely dim. I ended up walking in on someone peeing, because when you get inside and close the door, it's really hard to see the lock on the door so just keep that in mind. Popular spot especially on a Friday night but even with seating limited to outdoors, we only waited 15 min for a table for 2. Their house beer is awesome- kind of a mix between a lager and pale ale. I had the royale burger. It was cooked perfectly and comes on a soft brioche bun. The burgers are not huge, but they are packed with flavour. The fries were also cooked well and seasoned appropriately. My husband had the poke bowl which may look a little small but it was very filling and had a lot of tuna. This was the worst restaurant we visited on Vancouver Island. The menu was minimal, and the food wasn't anything special. The food and drinks are way overpriced and they don't even have regular pop on the menu. The patio seats were uncomfortable, and we were surrounded by wasps the entire time. Not necessarily the fault of the restaurant, but an overall bad experience. It was one of the only places open during the day in Tofino, or else we wouldn't have even stayed for the meal. The staff were friendly, but absent most of the time. I cannot recommend this place for anyone. read more

Patio looks great and so is the inside - small but welcoming. Very clean! Staff were super friendly, quick, and attentive. Our meal came out light speed fast and was absolutely delicious. I went for the tuna burger and was blown away. Family had the chicken burger and regular burgers and they had high marks too. We also had the deep fried pickles ("Britney's Spears"....LOL) and they were great. Nice light batter. Great stop!! We will be back for sure the next time we're in Tofino!! read more

Looking for a patio to have a beer on and found The Shed. Intially my group only planned to have a couple appetizers with beer however when we saw the menu we decided to order full meals. I had the tuna tempura, really yummy, the batter was light and maintained crispyness. It was cooked through - which I preffered, but if you want it rare probably need to ask. My friend had the chixx sandwich, also nice and crispy with lots of tangy pickles that balanced the richness of the mayo. Sanwiches come on tasty brioche style buns.
