We were staying at Ocean Village so it was a quick 2 min drive over to Beachfront Bistro. We had an early dinner with friends and family. Not the cheapest meal, but also not expensive. My daughter's kid pasta was actually quite tasty. She's picky about green stuff ( parsley) but she ate it anyway. I ordered the fish tacos and enjoyed them. No complaints. read more

Restaurant is on the large size. It overlooks the beach, has a nice size bar, and a patio with fireplaces. Definitely on island time (slow to sit, order, pay). I ordered the vegan hash which should come with tofu but didn't. When I inquired, I was told that there was tofu but there absolutely was none. Prices are cheap (especially if you are staying in the hotel). Service is super nice. Food came fast and was really good. read more

We've been coming here for years. We usually have breakfast here during our stay at the Tin Wis Best Western. You couldn't ask for a friendly, more professional staff. Most of the staff is from the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations. You get seated right away and are immediately offered coffee or a beverage while you are reviewing the menu. Speaking of menu, what a great variety! The breakfasts are fresh and delectable. Absolutely delicious down to the last bite! I cannot say enough about the Beachfront Bistro. Whether you are staying at the Tin Wis, at one of the nearby resorts, or are a local, it's definitely worth a visit! read more

Beachfront bistro is closed. I went this morning looking for breakfast and the front counter clerk said it closed about one month ago. The Best Western still serves breakfast to in-house guests from 7am to 10am. read more

We didn't have a great experience here. We had called ahead to make a reservation and they forgot & didn't save us a table. We waited a long time to place our order. They had run out of fries (kids were not impressed). It took over an hour to receive our food, and the servers didn't give any updates on when the food was coming during the wait. One of the orders said "2 pieces of fish" and they only brought one. The food quality was ok. We won't be coming back. read more

Dinner at the Beachfront Bistro restaurant at the Best Western Tis Win Resort in Tofino. Restaurant is beautiful all glass, beautiful lighting and decorated with Native Art. Also has outdoor seating with heat lamps for those that wish to have more outdoor experience. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and beautiful sunset All the diners ran outside to take photos of beautiful sunset. I ordered the Northwest Trail Mix Beet salad and seafood pasta. Requested the salmon and halibut be substituted with fresh clams. The pasta was perfect with clams, scallops and shrimp in a nice garlic cream sauce. My husband order the bacon wrapped pork which included potato on the side. He started his dinner with a caesar salad. All was delicious! For dessert, had brownie and vanilla ice cream. Bit of a mixed bag here. Stayed 3 nights and ate here 3 times. The seafood linguini was quite good. The back ribs had a weird spicy sauce. The steak slider ordered medium rare arrived well done. Service ranged from inattentive to excellent. Never saw the same server twice. If I wasn't staying here I would have eaten elsewhere. read more
