A few of the buildings seem vacant and one looked like it was falling down. My little one asked me what happen to it...she told me it was about to crash down. She also believed the boat captains lived in all of the buildings by the water because they look like wood shanty's. I didn't have the heart to tell the truth so I went with it. It is fun to walk up the boardwalk because there are some great views of the river. You can also check out the fishing boats too. Some of the captains will talk to you because they are trying to drum up some business. It would be fun to go out and do some sport fishing but maybe on my next trip, hopefully it won't be another 18'years. There are also some great places to eat here too. My personal favorite is the Mucky Duck Shanty for a Sheboygan Brat. It is the best deal in the area for $3.95 with chips and slaw. A pint of beer is $2.50 and that's a normal price...no need for a fake happy hour here. There are also other places too for coffee, ice cream, burgers or brunch. Just search yelp when you get here because there are a ton of great reviews. There is also plenty of parking in the lot. If it's full then you will see two hour street parking for free. There is also a bathroom at the north end of the pier but it is open seasonally. So if it's summer you are in luck but in winter you may be denied. If your passing through Sheboygan then stop on in. It is only about 3 miles off the main highway and you will have a great time too.

Each one either showed out of stock, or notified me after my order that it would be December before they had more in. So I started scouring the web and stumbled on this random store in Sheboygan Wisconsin. So glad I did. They had exactly the item I was looking for. The site was intuitive and the transaction was seamless. The item was priced lower than anywhere else I'd found it, and it was actually in stock. How this works I do not know. But they got it to me all the way to Alabama in just a few days with tracking updates and communication along the way. The item arrived on time, the description was accurate, the price was the lowest that I'd found anywhere and this store managed to have something in stock that as far as I could tell no one else did. Couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely shop with them in the future. 5 stars.

I finally asked them to cancel the order on January 31 and refund my money immediately. They responded by saying they canceled the order because they could not fulfill it and they would issue refund that day. I have yet to get refund. I have issued a complaint with my institution and warn others not to shop at this place.

We just went in to get the bow set up and ready to shot. Matt 2.0 in the archery shop was beyond helpful. He helped us pick a great sight that would work for me. He got us the best arrows for my bow and cut them down for us. He even helped me start to sight in my bow. He was helpful and patient with us. Even stayed a bit late to fix an issue with my sight. To top it off the whole time we were working to get my bow set up my son was able to shot at the indoor range! He had such a great time! We can't wait to get back, as a family, into the range again to shot. Would highly recommend this shop! Great shop to work with.

We are not seasoned fisher men so they were able to talk us through the things that we would need to catch a salmon at the Port Pier during spawning season. We will only be going to this shop from now on. They care about the art of fishing and passed on their knowledge to my 13 year old son. We are so grateful for them! Scheels also sells clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children as well as other products such as home decor and lawn/garden supplies. I live in Pennsylvania, which does not have any Scheels stores, but I made an online order with this store in Appleton. According to Google, this Scheels store had the lowest price for a particular type of shirt from The North Face at only $17. I felt surprised and pleased that Scheels charged a $0 fee for standard shipping and handling. The next day, Scheels shipped my package via the USPS. A few days later, the package arrived at my house. The shirt was in excellent condition. I feel very happy with Scheels's product, price, and delivery.

Both of the men at each desk treated us as though we were an inconvenience to them. When I go to a "service desk" in a department that SPECIALIZES in a particular item (Bows, gun scopes, ect) , i assume i will GET answers to specialized questions. The rest of the staff were very polite and friendly. As for spending my money for any more sporting goods, we will spend it at Fleet Farm, Dicks...anywhere but Scheels!

Cabela's specializes in hunting, fishing, boating, and camping merchandise that has been a subsidiary of Bass Pro Shops. So if you are in the need for something in this area, Cabela's has it. I did a quick internet search of the product I was looking for and Cabela's had the best price. The store is huge, but I've been told the Cabela's in Memphis is 10 times the size with the boats in a pond in the store with restaurants and a hotel on the top story. The service was outstanding. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. For the stock, variety and price, I'd make the drive. I was in so much awe that I didn't take many pictures. I'll add when I visit again.
