Several people I was dining with had the Cajun style walleye. They also received hearty portions and said it was really good. I have to tie our bar choices to our experience with our waitress. She was a young girl. She was very nice. Whoever trained her (or didn't train her) is responsible for her shortcomings. The poor girl had no idea about anything served at the bar. People at my table had to go up to the bar to look at the beers offered and to look at which liquors were available. First, the young lady should have been instructed to say, "Let me check on that". Secondly, someone could have helped her with a cheat sheet. It was an awkward 5 minutes of drink orders. Again, not her fault but failure by whoever "trained" her. Overall, the drinks were good. Another "training" failure was our waitress not returning to see if anyone needed anything or to see if another round of drinks was needed. No one to blame but management for not giving our young waitress the chance to provide exceptional service. Would I return? Indeed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. If the manager did right by their employees, it would have been a truly great experience.

Since youve been cleared of that issue ill replace it with another. When you pay over $600 in labor youd hope things would be done right. The air filter looks like it hasnt been changed in 5 years. Im surprised there was any air flow. Im not for sure but Mercury said it maybe the reason why the very expensive spark plugs that i had you put in are all black. I get the air filter checked on my truck during an oil change without asking. I tell you guys to get the motor water ready and you dont even check that? Probably the same guy that hooked up the 3 way charger and didn't even plug it in to see if it worked. You dont have to worry about me coming in to purchase anything in your store ever again. Dont be upset over this review as it wont be your last unless you get a better service dept and do some customer service training.

The staffed registers are invariable staffed by persons with little to no people skills. Consequently, the staff are rude and demanding. For example, when purchasing alcohol or ammunition they require identification to be shown. Never do the staff ask for the I.D.; they demand it. It's a simple fix. The staff should ask politely, "May I see your ID, please?" And, voila!, problem fixed. Some of the staff in the yard are kind, but one fellow was throwing - yes, throwing - forty pound bags of salt into the back of my vehicle. In so doing, he damaged the items I paid for. The store is large, and generally well stocked. The parking lot is a pock-marked, rutted nightmare, and the cart return/cart corral is poorly designed. I have previously walked into this store, with the intent to purchase items, but, upon seeing the disastrously long checkout lines, I have left without making a purchase. I want to like this store. I want this to be my local store now that Shopko is gone, but the staff here is making it very difficult. Maybe the fix lies in firing the whole of the management team and starting anew.
