If you don't look, you might miss Arabian Nights Hookah Lounge. Especially during the daytime. But at night, they have neon lights that draw you in like a bug to a zapper under summer's stars. If you are drawn in, you won't be let down. Let's get something straight here -- this is a Hookah Bar. There isn't alcohol and there doesn't need to be. If you want to go somewhere for that, try using your Yelp app for "bars" with the little martini glass next to it. The interior of the place is much like a hookah bar in Cairo -- it's dimly light with a great ventilation system. There's an actual bar counter you can sit at and smoke. Ample amount of tables for seating and some rooms with couches and televisions if you'd like. For the TV's, they have Netflix, Spotify, Hulu and all the fixings like you're right at home. For the hookah, it's pretty unique if you want it to be. For the bowl (where the tobacco goes), you can get a hollowed out fruit -- apple, pineapple, watermelon, lemon and so on. Trust me, this makes it taste so much better. For tobacco, they have Starbuzz, Al-Fahker, Fumari and more (which are the traditional suppliers). You can mix flavors together if you wish. The smoke is smooth and quite flavorful, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing night with friends. For food, I've had the shawarma wrap before and their smoothie. It's good! The Turkish coffee is really good as well, and you can get it without sugar if that's your thing. It's really caffeinated and quite good. I'd recommend trying some coffee which sips great in between puffs of hookah.

I was immediately greeted by Rose, who I asked to just let me stand there and take in the environment for 30 seconds. She laughed, but I think she got the nostalgic factors I was feeling. The shop is straight up old school, with leather couches, chairs, etc around for various smoking areas, and they were definitely being utilized on this Friday afternoon. I've already decided that I will be returning to partake in "enjoy(ing a) fine cigar + (and maybe) quality liquors in the comfort of your living room" in their gorgeous lounge. Now, we'll get to the nuts of the review, as Rose asked me what she could do for me and I said straight up that I was looking for a recommendation because I'm not really able to do that at local corporate tobacco shops as I am generally more knowledgeable than the workers. She immediately thanked me for just immediately trusting her judgment* and said, "Well, lets go where all the fun is." We entered the EXTREMELY well stocked humidor and I explained to Rose exactly what I wanted and a price range (that wasn't very limiting) and she IMMEDIATELY said "This is the cigar you want." Well, it was celebratory cigar that I smoked that day, and she was right. *In hindsight, after a little research, I appreciate Rose's humility as she's an ambassador for multiple cigar brands, and she actually DID NOT recommend one of her ambassadorial brands which is a real positive (and inspires me to try some brands that trust her). Though I have a feeling I may be a bit out there personality-wise for a lot of traditional cigar stores I hope to come back and spend some time in this beautiful establishment.

We ended up sitting on the main floor at a very large wooden table that would be perfect for playing games with a large group of friends or family. Revel was evidently popular with Milwaukee's African-American population. The bar brought back memories of my high school days in NYC, and I loved the music. While he asked for my identification, the bouncer joked with me, saw I was more than five decades over the drinking age, and told me to put the ID away, and he helped me order a drink. Everyone was warm, and several people even complimented me on my fedora. I only had one drink because my friends were afraid to come in. That's Milwaukee's problem. They offer you a menu for the shisa (hookah) flavors. I felt like i was a kid in a candy store with all of the possibilities. I will say that it is more expensive then some of the other hookah spots in Milwaukee but a extra couple of bucks hasn't hurt my pockets so i can live with it. There isn't a bar or a huge food menu so don't expect that when you enter. The crowd is usually 20 to 30 something hipsters or college students from the river west area. So no dressing up or over dressing its not that type of place. The pro for this place is that it is diverse and i appreciate that.
