I just ate here with my family for the first time. When we got there, shortly after they opened on a Saturday, it was already crowded. Despite that our party of six was seated quickly and we were offered dining room, patio or covered patio tables. We chose the dining room which is cute, dark and unfortunately a bit loud. Our service was good and our server was friendly, but it was difficult to hear her and her us.A couple of us had Manhattans, which were very good, but the glasses were different sizes, which made me think maybe mine was not the same volume. My dad ordered the beef Marsala pasta, which was a generous serving and he seemed to enjoy it. The rest of us ordered different pizzas - everyone liked their choice but there were a couple standouts. The walnut was a revelation, walnut puree, fontina cheese, whipped cream cheese, mushrooms, and roasted walnuts. It was unique and tasty. Always a good meal here. First visited in 2022 or 2023 and was so impressed by the cheese board. It was amazing! On a return trip this year (2026), ordered it and was very disappointed. We had dinner here on a wintry Tuesday night and fell in love with the place. It had a great speakeasy vibe with fun music playing. We sat at the bar and enjoyed socializing with some of the regulars as well as the bartender. For drinks we had an old fashioned and a lemon-tini made with their homemade limoncello which were both very good. We then shared a broke which was a light dough with a dipping sauce of tomatoes, cheese and veggies. Very unique. We also shared the beef Marsala pizza. The beef was very vendor and the crust was light and yummy. During our dinner the owner came by and introduced himself. Nice indoor patio with great view of the lake. The ambiance is on point with the prohibition era theme. Service was prompt and attentive. However, the wood fired pizza left a lot to be desired. The peso and bread were delicious. But the pizza crust was very soggy. The Marsala beef pizza was a bit bland despite the sauce and mushrooms. Same with the margarita pizza, soggy crust. The only pizza that's decent was the lemon one with arugula topping. Likely because there's no tomato sauce. I've been to Italy and had authentic Napoleon style pizza. This didn't measure to it. This was a home run 5/5 for everything. Sat in the sunroom patio for a little evening sunlight. Temp was still warm even though it was cold out. Fully intended to go for a salad type meal, but when the bartender (apologies for forgetting his name, he was very good) described the pizza special I chose that. Pro: Best pizza I've had, and I'm 70 years old! Con: Being a special, you'll never know when they'll have it again. Hint...custom sausage, made for them and a leek sauce they make up just for this pie. However, since the crust was also one of the best, I imagine any pizza would be great. Nice place along the water. Decent food. Mediocre service and not kid friendly. We asked about options for kids and they said they don't have a kids menu but could make them buttered noodles. I didn't think I'd have to ask how much but when the check came they charged us $21 per dish... for noodles and butter. Wow. We stopped in Sheboygan for a few hours and had dinner here! It was so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the weather and view, but the inside of the restaurant looked really nice and fun too! Our food was very good...we ordered the Focaccia Fritta to start and then the Spicy Chipotle pasta and the Spicy Beef Sausage pizza. I have been here about 20 times. My favorite thing are the patio, mussels in the white wine sauce, and that they have a good wine menu. The rest of the food menu is salads (served on pizza crust), pizza, or pastas. I wish they had more entries like a salmon dish, for example, or more innovative salads. I love the balsamic pasta but it's very rich. I like coming in the winter but in the summer time the food is quite heavy. Many portions are large enough to share! The patio on the river is really nice and has great views. Everyone has always been friendly. If there is a long wait for tables you can usually find a spot at the bar. My only other negative is that the interior near the front (near the bar) is cluttered with boxes of wine and other supplies. I will continue to be a loyal customer but perhaps mix in some seasonal menu options!! read more

Enjoyed the pesto bread appetizer, Chicken Gnocchi and Creamy Pesto. The appetizer was delicious, freshly baked bread with tasty pesto dip that my wife and I shared. Main courses were excellent. The creamy pesto was full of flavor, yummy creamy pesto covered noodles with plenty of tangy sun dried tomatoes. The chicken Gnocchi was even better. Grilled chicken and prosciutto with asparagus, sun dried tomatoes and Gnocchi in a creamy sauce. Service was excellent the hostess and the wait staff were friendly and very attentive. When to Prohibition again this week. Some of the things I like were off the menu, but I have to say they were replaced by even better dinners. I understand they may change some appetizers and I now think that's great. You may miss some oldest but you are definitely going to find some new goodies. They have their own drink menu1 of the drinks is Gin and Cherry compote. This drink is very good and refreshing. They are mainly an Italian Restaurant and wine bar but they sell beer and cocktails also. I think this is an Italian restaurant that everyone should try it if your from Milwaukee or Chicago. I'm a combat veteran who has a service dog for PTSD and the owner would not allow me to bring him on the OUTSIDE patio area. This was on the 4th of July no less. Welp! I wish I was writing a review under better circumstances, my family and I decided to come here as they are from out of town and we wanted to treat them for dinner. Our overall wait time was exactly 1 hours 15m since our group was larger they had to wait for a table that could accommodate us which they ended up putting us on the patio in a pretty uncomfortable corner with 5 different round tables set close to eachother( not the most ideal situation for wanting to talk) our service was slow, food was practically cold by the time it got to our table and an entire order was missed. My girlfriend and I didn't even know this place existed until we walked past it on our way to South Pier Parlor. We decided to come back and give it a go, and we're definitely glad we did. The interior is really cute and is, as expected, prohibition themed. The waitstaff are in hats and suspenders, the lights are dimmed. It's a cool looking place. We opted to sit outside, so that we had a view of the river. Our waiter was really nice and made sure we knew all the specials, and checked on us often. The owner, Harry I presume, also came around and talked to all the tables, which I thought was a pretty cool touch. He's a nice guy and seemed to really care that our food was good and that we were comfortable. He ended up lowering our shade for us because we looked too much in the sun, which made us laugh a bit. We started off with two Stella Cidres ($4.50) and the Pomodoro appetizer, which appears to no longer be on their menu but was I believe about $8. It was bread, mozzarella, tomatoes, and oil and balsamic, and it was delicious. It was also a bigger portion than we had anticipated. Then came our entrees. I ordered a lemon pizza ($11) which comes with smoked mozzarella cheese, lemon, arugula, parmesan cheese and fresh basil. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken and Gnocchi ($18) which is (according to the menu) grilled chicken and potato gnocchi, onion and garlic sautéed in white wine reduction and fresh cream with sun-dried tomato butter topped with prosciutto crisp. My pizza was pretty good. The crust was thin but still soft, which I appreciated. The flavor was nice. The smokey cheese went well with the bitter lemon. My one issue is that I thought the arugula would be on the pizza like a normal topping. Instead it came in a weird, salad-like pile on top. I ended up just moving the pile off to the side to get my pizza. It was good, but I'd order a different pizza next time. My girlfriend's chicken and gnocchi however was fantastic. The chicken was well-cooked and juicy. The gnocchi were cooked perfectly. The sauce it was in was absolutely delicious, creamy but not to heavy and full of flavor. Admittedly, I kept shoving my pizza crusts in her bowl to dip them in the sauce, it was that good. I'd order that again and again. For dessert, we decided to split one so we didn't feel guilty about going to South Pier later. We opted for the vanilla Panna Cotta ($4) French style, that is, with the burnt sugar layer on top like you'd find on a creme brulee. It was really good. It was the right consistency and texture, it had a nice creamy flavor, and I mean, who doesn't love that moment when you get to tap your spoon against the sugar? Nice food options and atmosphere. I liked that they had both a covered and uncovered outdoor dining options. We opted for indoors because it was rainy and everything was great. The waitress was especially friendly and attentive to us. We dined with 3 small kids and they were very accommodating. They didn't have an official kids menu, but it seems like they are ready for kids with different simple food options (plain pizza, spaghetti, etc) so it didn't feel like we had to ask them to do something special for us. We got one of their pizza specials and it was great. Had prosciutto and arugula and just a really fantastic crispy, puffy crust. I would absolutely eat here again if I were in the area. There are also some nice spaces to walk along their pier and a beach on the other side like 10 min walk away. Visited for the first time last week on a Monday night. I noticed that the signs on the door about not being a family friendly restaurant for families of 6 or more have been taken down. I was surprised by what a big deal people made of this. I think I understand why the signs were there, since I've dined out a few times and was annoyed by screaming or crying children or those just misbehaving or playing at the dinner table. They're kids. They can be kids at a kid-friendly restaurant. Now I just won't go to those restaurants anymore. If I wanted that distraction during dinner, I would go to Chuck E Cheese's. Not all kids behave in public. Not all parents can control their kids. The business owner has to think of his/her larger customer base and the type of experience he/she wants the guests to have. Not all restaurants have to be kid-friendly. Get over it. Go back to the nicer restaurant when you have a sitter. (End of soap box) Anyway, I was seated on the patio, which is heated and next to the river. My server, KJ, arrived soon after and provided excellent service. Harry, the owner, came out and checked on me and we chatted for a bit. I felt very welcome. I ordered a Hot Sopressata pizza with sausage added, and it was amazing! The sopressata was actually spicy, as I hoped it would be, and the flavors were perfect, but the crust is what I was most impressed by. It was slightly crisp, yet perfectly soft where it needed to be. I get why this is one of only 4 certified Neapolitan pizzerias in Wisconsin. The Nutella pizza topped with roasted marshmallows was also amazing. I ended up taking most of that home, since I was satisfied from my entrée pizza. I wish I lived closer because I want to go back again very son and explore more of the menu. Il Ritrovo is the better known certified Neapolitan pizzeria, but I definitely recommend you dine at Harry's, as well. The food is solid but two major complaints, especially as it relates to families eating here: 1. Two kids meal options; noodles and marinara and pizza. 2. The above are $14 each for KIDS! The complaint isn't the limited kids meal options, but 1) the noodles are about 4oz or less. So little that the server asked if we would like some more. We said "yes thanks that would be nice. We appreciate it." The bill comes and we were charged for 2 orders = $28 for less than an adult size pasta dish (which range from $20-$23). After bringing up that the offer for a little more pasta was appreciated but that we weren't expecting to pay another $14, they ONLY charged us $10 more. The crazy thing though is $14 for a kids meal in general. We're from Chicago and I don't know one place in Chicago that charged this much for a kids dish. Usually kids meals are $6-8 at most and include a milk or soda and sometimes fruit or a side. Good option for couples/adults. Terrible option in terms of value for a family with kids under 10. read more
