Our server Dylan was excellent, and the rest of the staff kept our waters filled and dishes cleared. We tried the Vegetariano panini (fantastic) and the Lombardia pizza Bianca (also fantastic). Everything is clearly prepared with intention - the greens on top of the salad were perfectly dressed, and the veggies on the panini were chopped into small, uniform pieces so every bite was perfect. It was hard to decide what to order, so we will be back to work our way through the menu!

It was IMPOSSIBLE to talk to each other. It was so loud, we were basically yelling at each other, the waiter too. Our table was so tiny, it barely had room for our food. What if we had ordered more? Our waiter was super nice and very knowledgeable. However, when he was telling us about the pasta special, we both heard him talking about adding berries to it. But when it came it, we were confused what he was even talking about. The pizza was great BUT only when you eat it fresh. After it got to room temp/cold, all you could taste was the burnt crust. Unfortunately, now that it's off my list of place to try, I probably would not go back. Also, we had to wait 30mins which was fine but a party of 2 who came AFTER us, got seated before us.

The cheese pizza for the children was as plain as a cheese pizza can be -- but that's why we ordered it for the kids. It was exactly what the picky eaters wanted and they seemed to enjoy it. For the adults we ordered two large veggie pizzas. We opened the first box and dug in and I have to say it was quite good, A nice cracker crust, decent sauce, a goodly amount of veggies evenly distributed over the crust and enough, but not too much cheese. On to the second box, and what a disappointment. The pizza was over-baked, extremely dry, and actually charred black in places -- not just a bit on the edge of the crust, but whole pieces were inedible. The amount of veggies was significantly less than the first pizza and the distribution of the toppings was uneven. How two "identical" pizzas can come out so differently is baffling. All I can say is that quality control and consistency in the kitchen seems to be lacking and that is ultimately a management problem. I'm glad we happened to open the box with the well prepared pizza first. At least half of our meal was decent. Two out of three equals two stars from this reviewer.

The menu is jam-packed with delicious options, and our group had a hard time narrowing down our selections! We started by sharing the traditional mild Buffalo wings, burnt ends, and armadillo eggs. The wings were huge, meaty, and packed with an amazing smoked flavor. The burnt ends were incredibly tender, falling apart and practically melting like butter in your mouth. Amazingly, I still had room for the turkey Reuben with waffle fries. It was an interesting twist and a slightly healthier alternative to a traditional Reuben. They also offered a great selection of local beers on tap. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful as we worked our way through the extensive menu. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sheboygan!

If you tell us the wait is 40 minutes and we are seated in 45 minutes, we won't complain. But if you say the wait is 10-15 minutes and we have to inquire about what's going 40 minutes later and it turns out you can seat us immediately, the front of the house management is not doing their job very well. (At least it was pleasant outside and we enjoyed strolling up and down the marina checking out all the boats while we were waiting.) Once we were finally seated, everything was fine. Our server greeted us promptly. Drinks were delivered shortly after we placed our order and the food came to the table not long after that. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. Compared to BBQ brisket I've had elsewhere I'd give it a six out of ten, not bad but far from the best (but I really didn't expect a place in Sheboygan to top places in Kansas City or Memphis for example). I sampled all their sauces (none of which wowed me) before settling on one that brought a touch of heat to the palate. The potato salad was a tad one-note -- it needed a touch of acid and a bit more texture, I.e. crunchy vegetables. All in all, Parker John's was okay -- but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Speaking of odd choices, for an American style restaurant, I was confused by the Reggaeton playing the entire time I ate there. Confused vibes. It's located near most of the popular bars in town that get really busy on the weekend, so maybe they're trying to liven up the place with music that doesn't really make sense for the space. My food was fresh and tasted fine. The Nashville hot sauce was worlds better than the garlic Parmesan. The waffle fries tasted good but were a bit overcooked (hard). It seemed clean inside, but there were fruit flies bothering us the entire time we were there. Not sure I would go back, but the food is alright.
