First time dining in for me and it was a pleasant experience. It's a seat yourself model, we showed up around 6:45pm and had no issues getting a booth on a Thursday night for 4. The service was great and waitress was very friendly. The place was clean, nothing over the top. It's not huge, but could accommodate a larger group of 8-10 people if needed. There's nice seating at the bar with TVs and a wide selection of drinks available as well. We were dining with a friend from TX so he wanted to try the cheese nuggets and mozzarella sticks. Both were good, I would get the cheese nuggets again for sure! For our main meal we dined on 2 thin crust pizzas which were fantastic! If you're not familiar with Maricio's the sauce goes on top, so make sure to order extra cheese which you can't go wrong with! PS. There's no changing table for little ones, but you can manage on the sink counter in the bathroom. read more

Maricio's must be doing something right as we drove past several other closer pizza places to pick up pizza from here during my recent visit to the area. When we decided that pizza was what we wanted, my friends immediately said Maricio's and I now know why. We ordered several pizzas for take out, everything from gluten free crust to fully loaded and each of them were piping hot and delicious! The staff is friendly, and I love small towns where people know each other by name. For this South Florida gal who misses the thin crust pizza that Maricio's makes, it was one of the best dinners I had during my visit! read more

1: They rip you off!!!! Or maybe just calculating costs differently per worker. Either way, unacceptable. I would have just not paid for it but I hadn't eaten in 12 hours and didn't have time to go elsewhere. Picked up a 12" margherita pizza, I asked on the phone how much it would be, she said 17$. I ask for extra sauce and also bought a can of 7up when I got there and the total was more than 27$. Extra sauce and one can of soda does not equal 10$. Both were a 1.50$. That's 3$. My total should have been 20$ I told the cashier, she redid the math and got the same number. 2: the pizza was not cut right, they completely forgot to cut one or two of the lines and a third to a half the pizza had hugeeee pieces. 3. There were only 2 pieces with any "crust", the sauce and cheese were spread too far, and those are the best pieces of the pie. Looked like a nice place with a good atmosphere but I am not happy about my experience. read more

A great last minute decision because another restaurant was closed, Maricio's had great service and good pizza. I have a gluten allergy and they have two crust options. Pizza was OK (if you are in the clique). I ordered pizza & wings to go while enjoying 2 beers. A guy came in after me, ordered a large pizza & large wings to go maybe 10 minutes after I rodered. Our food came out at the same time, the server said "I'll be back after I ring this guy up", then charged hime less than half what I paid. Oh my goodness, what a delicious spread! Italian, pizza, etc your pcik is quite likely to be super tasty. I had a work meeting here, and a group of 11 for our waitress Mary to handle. Mary was super nice, and such a positive person. I personally had a calzone with cheese, pepperoni, pepperocini, and banana peppers. It was extra cheesy and came with a side of sweet flavored marinara sauce. The garlic cheese bread was also very tasty, with a strong helping of cheese. I sampled some.pizza and was impressed by the thin crust and how well it held the ample amount of cheese. The bottled beer selection looked like it could please just about anyones' tastes. If i have anything to complain about, it was tue cooler temperature of the basement room where we held our meeting....but hey, it was a second level on a random weeknight - i can't blame them for not having the heat running full bore! read more

Usually they always had really good pizza, not this time. Ordered a medium sausage, mushroom, onion thin crust pizza. There was barely any sausage on it not even 1 piece per slice. So basically it was a cheese pizza. Very disappointed, don't think we will be back. read more

The restaurant itself isn't much to look at. But as with all restaurants, it's all about the food. Their deep dish pizza is absolutely delicious and seems halfway between a pan style pizza and a Chicago style deep dish. The crust is somewhat buttery and the sausage is delightful. Love the food here. The homemade soups are always delicious. Pizzas are excellent. The sandwiches are awesome too. My favorite is the Cuban sandwich. They have specialty pizzas also. I generally do not post review and especially poor reviews but my recent visit to Maricio's carry out warrants a review to be noted. In the past I had always had good experience's with the quality of food and friendly customer service but this time must have been an anomaly. I ordered 2 pizza's for carry out, when I picked up my order I waited at least 15 minutes before anyone helped me. Once returning home, I realized the pizza's were made with little to no cheese - who makes a pizza with no cheese? Additionally both orders were cold and uncooked. When I called back the person that I spoke to said that he personally made the pizza's and would do nothing to correct the order and hung up on me, That's right, he hung up on me. I was so taken back that I had to call back. I was amazed by the lack of common sense that this establishment displayed to correct a poor experience with one of its customers. You would think a business would want to make sure that its customers return satisfied. One side note, I was told that the orders were definitely cooked, if anything a bit soggy since the pizza boxes were placed on top of their oven - guess it was my fault that they didn't have better judgment as to where to place the completed orders before pickup. Just attended a surprise party at Maricio's. First, the staff was amazing. Very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Second, the place was spotless. Very comfortable event space with a nice bar. Finally, the pizza was very good. Attractive salad with delicious dressings, and ice cold beer! I would highly recommend this place not only for events, but anytime dining. This proved to be a nice surprise. The pizza was very good, and we loved our waitress in "The Underground." The Underground had windows to the outside, and it was very nicely decorated. Overall we enjoyed this place and will come back lots of times. Our only complaint was that the bill was impossible to understand. They should consider doing a much better job explaining the charges. read more
