I normally do not complain about a business but last night I had an awful experience with Sausage Plus. Yesterday morning I placed an order for 5 pounds of breaded haddock to be picked up at 6:00 pm. At 6:00 pm last night someone from Sausage Plus called me asking if I was Donna who placed an order for 5 pounds of breaded haddock to be picked up at 6:00 pm. I stated that yes, it was me. She proceeded to tell me that they do not have any breaded haddock left to fill my order. I told her that I called in the morning to place the order so I wasn't quite sure how they couldn't have any for me. That is the purpose of ordering ahead. She stated that they were very busy and ran out. Meanwhile, while I'm talking to her, my brother-in-law was in line to pick up the order. She stated that they could fill my order next week Friday. I told her I have people at my house now for dinner. She then transferred me to someone else. I believe she said she was transferring me to the general manager or manager. He came on the phone asking how he could help me. Did she not tell him why she called me?! So I told him what she told me. He basically said the same thing. They were very busy and ran out of the breaded haddock. He also mentioned that they could fill my order for next Friday. Then he suggested one of the other types of fish, at a much higher price. He also stated that they probably didn't have 5 pounds of any type of fish to sell me. I can't believe they would run a business like that. Offering fish for next week wasn't a solution. I had a group of people at my house for dinner last night. I don't know that I could trust ordering ahead from them again. What is the point of ordering ahead if they didn't put enough aside for my order? read more

Sausage Plus is a great little shop in West Bend. I like to stop there when I'm nearby. They have a fantastic meat counter with some great prepared items. I'm partial to the bacon wrapped cordon bleu. Delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of their own sausage, jerky and other items along with a good variety of other local items. read more

West Bend Sausage Plus catered the food for our Christmas Party on 12/12/25 and it was all exceptional! We will most definitely use them again for our parties! Thank you all! read more

Amazing quality in every thing the have do or make. The only thing better is their service!

We arranged for West Bend Sausage Plus to do a pig roast for an outdoor 75th birthday celebration. Tyler was the cooker and did an excellent job. (The fact he spoke Spanish was a plus for some of our Peruvian guests). Timing for serving was exactly on schedule. We opted to supply our own sides but the star of the show was of course the well seasoned pig. And the crispy skin- incredibly delicious!! Thank you Ben (owner) and Tyler! read more

This review is solely based on their Sunday Hot Ham. Simply the best in the area. Option for sliced or shaved ham. Buy a pound and the hard rolls are free. A definite must try for anyone in the area. I will also be back when searching for a butcher option. Their display case is quite impressive and their prices (especially for Prime meat) seemed reasonable. read more

I love looking for new meat shops and this place was not to far away from where I was so we stopped by and we wanted lunch also, Jack pot because they had a small hot table. I needed some fresh Italian sausage for a recipe and they had some along with all kinds of goodness so I over shopped and took home more than I thought. I wanted to get some meat sticks because I'm always looking for them and they had a small selection. The store is well rounded with a nice selection of goodies from wine to smoked brisket and everything in between. I did find some good Italian sausage and some fresh breakfast sausage links that were really tasty. The pasta salads were also really tasty with the pasta cooked perfect. The broasted chicken and fried fish was also tasty. The smoked brisket strips sandwich was also delicious with a nice soft bun and topped with a great coleslaw. The variety at this store is so good that you will leave with more than you stopped over for. The bottom line is that if I lived closer to this place I would be a regular customer for sure. read more

I have never had a bad experience yet. Burgers are amazing. Marinated chicken breasts are great as well.

Could be a nice little store, location perfect for me BUT - Prices are WAY too high. Beef sticks up to 13.99 a pound. And, the hot sticks don't have any heat to them. This was final straw for me. I'll go elsewhere. read more

Went today and got some things for a bbq. When we opened the Mac and cheese, there was mold growing on the top. Extremely disgusting. The expiration date was July 29th. Haven't eaten the other food yet but this is disgusting. read more

First time here on 17 June after a nice day of fishing. We stopped in for brats, steaks, inhouse made beef sticks and Kewaskum garlic summer sausage for sandwiches. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The store has fresh and frozen products, as well as a nice selection of wine and beer. I can see coming back here again when we are in the West Bend area. Check them out, a nice local butcher shop with decent prices! read more

Great Man-Store. Beer, Liquor, Cuts of meat, cheese curds, beef sticks, mustards...... has it all.

Although we live a long way from West Bend, this is without a doubt our go to butcher shop. Not many around of this quality. This is the smorgasbord of butcher shops. All top quality. I would advise not to eat the beef jerky if you don't want to get addicted to the very best you will ever taste. More kinds of brats than we have ever seen. If you're in West Bend, shop there. If you're passing through West Bend, stop there. If you live far away from West Bend get it shipped to you. No, we are not related to the owners in any way, just love the fantastic meat products they provide. read more

Love Sausage Plus ! Great meats, deli, their customer service is the best.

West Bend residents are very fortunate to have this store with these high quality products for their family's celebrations & weekly meals. They have the BEST SUMMER SAUSAGE which is produced by KEWASKUM SAUSAGE. I wished this summer sausage would be in a MAJOR GROCERY STORE for other families to have available to them. I had to drive 8 hrs to buy this product & I purchased more to give as a CHRISTMAS GIFTS. I found giving food that you love, as a gift, is an exciting gift for your recipients. So, purchase more than you routinely purchase to surprise your loved ones this Christmas. This will make your loved ones happy & you are supporting this fabulous business plus all of the individuals who create these yummy treats. I have surprised my loved ones during COVID, which has been FUN & has brought them a smile & cheered them up through this challenging time in our lives. There is a huge trend of using churerety boards, that this store has many products to place on them for your entertaining needs. I have a culinary degree, & 40 years experiences tasting products that are available everywhere or is new to the food Industry. In my opinion, the AWARD FOR THE BEST SUMMER SAUSAGE goes to KEWASKUM SAUSAGE. BRAVO!!! PLEASE continue to support this business because in ALL of the cities I have lived, NONE have a business like WEST BEND SAUSAGE PLUS/products...... NOR do they have the MARVELOUS HANKERSON'S BAKERY, or CANDY MAN, nor LAUGHING MOUNTAIN GOURMET POPCORN. I grew up in West Bend, as a child, & my parents had to drive to Milwaukee for our family's needs. West Bend has been blessed by many new businesses. Since I graduated from Culinary School, & married, my life has taken me away from West Bend, sadly. I REGRET MOVING AWAY, & sharing to the visitors/families of West Bend that this is the BEST COMMUNITY & BEST BUSINESSES in Wisconsin to live + especially raise a family. read more
