Recently we held a brat forward event and tried the traditional, honey mustard, jalapeño cheddar, Reuben and chicken feta. Each type was amazing. The honey mustard was a favorite for anyone who chose it. I tried both the jalapeño cheddar and the Reuben. I love a jalapeño cheddar brat and this is the best! Warm heat and perfect proportion of cheddar and sausage. Delicious right off the grill and amazing reheated later. Enjoyed with pasta for a lunch and with potatoes for a breakfast. I tried the Reuben brat out of curiosity. I am a fan of a Rachel and not a Reuben but gave this a go. It was wonderful. The perfection of flavors and the best cheese bite every bite of the sausage. Also reheated and was delicious as leftover. Could not recommend this place higher.

While there, I picked up a few packs of specialty brats including mac and cheese, taco, Cajun, and beer + onion + butter. I haven't made the taco and Cajun brats yet, so I can't comment on those, and I didn't care for the mac and cheese brats, so I wouldn't get those again. The beer, onion, and butter brats, however, were outstanding. They tasted exactly like a brat that had been soaking in a beer and onion bath. Easily the best and most accurate tasting beer brat I've ever eaten. I would gladly go out of my way to get more of these.

Mueller's is different from traditional sausage I'm used to. Take the jalapeno and cheese sausage and hot sticks for example. I'm used to a finely ground combination in both styles of meat treat but these guys use generous chunks of cheese in their concoctions! It takes some getting used to but it's great on a cracker or right out of your pocket. The "hard tac" jerky they have is an aquired taste however. If you enjoy the flavor of pepper it's the treat for you. My personal favorite is the "beef strips". They remind me a lot of the jerky Cub Foods used to sell 15 years ago right here in green bay. Dry and salty = delicious. I love peeling it apart and eating it bit by bit. Highly recommended and priced very fair.
