The staff was friendly and helpful - we were kinda lost when we walked into the back room of a restaurant we'd been to before, and they had a self-ordering station set up. The sandwiches themselves were great! Simple, but piled with high quality shaved meat on a tasty sesame sandwich bun (unexpected but it works). I think you're better off getting food to go, as the seating area is very small, but they've done a good job of making it welcoming. The tables aren't on top of each other, there's a TV so you don't feel trapped in a basement, and hey, you can always walk through the curtain and get a drink at the bar!

You walk through an alley and it feels kind of like a speakeasy sub spot. You walk into the "basement" and are pleasantly surprised that this is a cute little dining area, not your typical sub spot. You order at the screen in front and subs are brought to your table when they are ready. (Freaky fast! Better than jimmy johns!). We got the Irish baby (corned beef - served cold, which was a delightful surprise. It was not heavy or too fatty like corned beef can be sometimes, it was really just right) and the turkey baby. We liked them both with some giardinara and the oils form the giardinara added. They were a good size, didn't skimp on the meat (I couldn't even finish mine, but my husband literally licked his plate clean). Service was very friendly and helpful. We walked through the restaurant it is connected to and that also looks like a cool spot, we will definitely be back for both places!

The menu suggests, "you'll need a fork for it" and that was no lie. It honestly was one of the best burgers I've had in ages. And the mushrooms? Cooked to perfection. It was juicy, cheesy, messy. Cooked to temp and perfectly seasoned. It was everything an awesome burger should be. My guy had the Reuben. I'll admit this out of the gate: we are corned beef snobs. We abhor the dry, thin-deli-sliced attempts that try to pass as food. We grew up on Benji's, Jake's and McBob's. We love a thicker, moist, pulled corned beef and good gracious--this corned beef Reuben was fantastic. Our mate had a classic BLT. No complaints. Killer bacon. How could that be wrong in any way? Love that they have a salad bar and offered both a soup and chili on a Saturday for lunch. Can't wait to go back. The fried chicken (and buckets to go are offered) looked great.

Between the Greens was a bookmarked place I hadn't been to yet, so I stopped and placed an order to go. I got cheese curds and The Whaler (a three piece cod sandwich) with waffle fries as a $2 add-on. The cheese curds were good. Not super crunchy like I prefer and they retained a little too much grease, but they seemed to be freshly battered, so that's a plus. On paper, $16 (as of 10/6/2024) for a fish sandwich may not sound like a good deal, but the sandwich was HUGE and tasted amazing. The $2 charge to add waffle fries was also worth it as they give you a ton for your money. I'd gladly order this again. Given their name and the golf greens in their logo, I assumed Between the Greens was a clubhouse restaurant at a golf course. Instead, I was surprised to see a country bar & grill that's simply close to a couple golf courses. For a moment I thought I may have been in the wrong place. Glad it all worked out.

They have tables and booths and a large outside patio area that does have giant umbrellas to sit under. Unisex bathrooms that were insanely clean and our table was clean too. Great views of Lake Michigan! I saw two entrances but I think there may be more, but one of the entrances was off the marina so easy access to get inside after boating. Service: Our waitress was super friendly and attentive even though she had a lot of tables. Appetizer was at the table within 10 minutes of ordering and our entrees came out 25 minutes after we finished with our app, great timing! Food: ORDER THE TEMPURA CAULIFLOWER. Seriously this is the best fried cauliflower I've ever had. SUPER crispy outside, seasoned really well, perfectly tender inside, huge pieces and small pieces and the dipping sauce is delicious (I think it's gochujang and rice wine vinegar). I seriously would drive all the way back here to get them. I will dream about them. The reuben was really good, corned beef had a ton of flavor, lots of cheese and kraut but definitely get it on the rye bread. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the flatbread/nan bread? they have for all their sandwiches is impossible to eat. The people at my table, and the two tables next to us all ended up eating it with a fork and knife because it just fell apart. I wish I didn't live an hour and a half away, I would come here all the time for the great beer selection and food (mainly the cauliflower).

They have the most tender & juiciest brisket, their chicken is divine, their pork is absolutely scrumptious, and their whole menu is serious business. You must try everything! This past weekend, they were at their usual Friday spot for the first time this season, so of course we stopped for some amazing food. My husband and his friend both ordered the brisket grilled cheese, my daughter had the fried chicken tenders and french fries, and I had the brisket Mac n cheese bowl with fried onions. Everything tasted as good as it sounds! I could seriously have that Mac n cheese bowl every single day and not get sick of it. Portions on all orders are huge! And their bbq sauces are honestly incredibly so darn good. I could not recommend this food truck enough. They make weekly stops in Slinger, Mequon, Grafton, Cedarburg and West Bend. Follow them on FB for their latest schedules and menu because you won't want to miss them this season!
