This review is specifically for Paul. And the business as a whole, really. I will also be posting this same review on several different review sites, so don't be alarmed. I'm currently very upset at the situation. I have made several inquiries to them about a clipper repair and sharpenings that were asked of at the dog show in Pasadena. Firstly, the sharpening took over 5 hours, and it was a mediocre job at best. Secondly, the problem with the clipper was expressed to the representative at the desk and it was later picked up because they claimed it was fully repaired, however, when it was brought back I found that the problem had not been fixed. We reached out to the company the next day, February 24, 2020, to express our concern, and Paul explained that a refund for the services would not be a problem and he just needed to speak with a man named Chris, who handles these matters. He promised to give me a call callback - I did not get a call. I followed up on the status later that afternoon, he said he'd give me a call either later that afternoon or the day after. I did not get a call. I called again on the 28th, he said he'd give me a call the same day. Again, I did not get a call. I made follow up calls again on March 4th and 5th - he did not answer, so I left a voice message and text messages on both days. He never got back to me. I made my last call today, March 17, 2020, to follow up on the situation. He seemed to talk to Chris about it for the first time when I called him then and said they couldn't issue a refund. He went on and on in a circle of conversations about how I was charged an amount for the services rendered - I repeated myself in a circle multiple times about how that was not the services requested. Frankly, I don't care what I paid for - that's what I was quoted when I expressed the issue I was having so I expect the services requested to be rendered. It is not my problem that you've charged me for the wrong service. So all-in-all, he refused the refund, cut me off throughout the entire conversation, and hung up on me. I asked that they refund me, otherwise I'd have to make a dispute with the bank. He said to me in verbatum, before hanging up on me, "Alright, make the dispute. You will never get your money back. You've made your threat, live up to it." I'm sorry, threat where? If he'd actually tried to listen to me throughout the conversation instead of cutting me off each time to speak his circle story, this would've ended much more amicably. PLEASE DO NOT UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY'S WORTH. One of the most unprofessional and rude companies I've ever encountered. I will attach photos of the calls made and texts sent. I have also not redacted his phone number for those of you who've also had problems with this company - please harass them with your complaints. Maybe they'll learn a thing or two. Apparently many people are unsatisfied with their services, as I can read from previous reviews.

Overpriced labor to change a latch in less than 2 minutes

I can't believe they charged me 35 dollars of labor for like 2 min to change a latch I would understand maybe 10-15 dollars never trust this company! So disappointed !!!

I'm sorry to say but they ruined all my scissors. I have convex shears that where sharpened liked beveled shears. Completely ruined!! I paid $180. to have all my scissors grinned down to nothing. My best scissors need to have the tips cut off and redone! But I learned a big lesson! Only a certified shear sharpener should touch your expensive scissors! I can go on & on about this. My fault is that I was to busy to go to a Real Certified shear sharpener! I went to the Grooming Expo in Pasadena because I herd they where really good! I followed the herd of professional groomers & should have known! I should have followed my gut instinct! But I didn't! Now I'm stuck with scissors that sound like cheap $50. shears that don't cut, fold the hair over, sound very loud when using & are NOT salvageable. I've been grooming for 17 years! I fell into a trap at the Grooming Expo! I believe this company thinks they'd never see me again, so why would they care! But to All the groomers out their PLEASE Don't get your shears or blades sharpened here! You Will regret it !

Christopher is very unprofessional and it was very disappointing to deal with him and his business. First he came down and when he was given our things to sharpen, he shoved them in his pockets and when a coworker of mine had offered him a bag to put them in so they wouldn't get ruined, he refused and said it was ok. I own top quality shears that are about 200$ and when I came in a few days later they where catching and still dirty. They had not been oiled and before I had him touch them they worked fine. I looked over all my blades and he chipped a tooth on my ceramic 7. All of my blades where still dirty and has obviously not been sharpened or oiled. I asked someone in the salon who was there the day he came how long it took him to do everything and they said about 40 mins. I've been grooming for over six years and every time I get my things done the RIGHT way it takes at least a few hours. So I called to let him know I was disappointed wth the outcome of his services and the women who helped me was very nice and told me he would come down to redo the sharpening. I informed her I didn't want him to touch my things I just wanted a refund. There where a few other people in my salon that needed stuff to be redone so he came down to fix there things. When I asked him for a refund he told me "no we don't do that. You need to let me try to fix them" I told him I wasn't going to let him touch my things again because of how my stuff was treated (being thrown in his pockets and the quality of them when I got them back) he said "well we can't keep everything separate and if you don't want me to fix it there's nothing I can do". I asked for my refund again and he said no. As someone who has never really had any issue with sharpeners in the past I'm baffled as to why I couldn't even get a refund? If you don't do what you say your gonna do, return my things in worse quality then when I gave them to you and then insist that I let you TRY and fix what you already messed up, why should I even let you TRY when you screwed them up in the first place ? All I wanted was a refund for the poor service provided and I was denied that. GROOMERS BEWEAR!!!! This guys is a scam and is pretty unprofessional. You are better off sending your things into Ryan's Pets or something to get sharpened then dealing with this guy. I would give him no stars if I could but oh well. First and last time I'll be dealing with this company.

Photos show that the blades are in good condition, the screw is beat up and the sleeve cheap. NOT NEW. Receipt shows price paid $180.00
