My 4 year old fridge broke. Robert at R&R was amazing! I called and told him what was wrong. He said it sounds like the compressor, "do not have me come out because it would void your warranty, call the company". He could have easily charged me the $900 and replaced it but he was honest, you just don't get that kind of honest quality service techs, trust me I've been dealing with the fridge company. I even called him back to get his opinion since Kenmore was trying to run in me circles, he kindly helped me. I will absolutely call him next time I have any appliance issues. Called this company based off of a conversation I had with the father about my refrigerator not cooling inside but the freezer was cold. He asked for pictures so I sent him pictures of the settings for the freezer and the fridge. He told me the freezer was too high and to turn it down so the air could flow to the fridge, okay cool. Did that and it still wasn't working. Fast forward to today I called at 8:15 am and asked if they could possibly look at it because it still didn't work they said yes and the time was between 10am-1pm. I was fine with that I dropped my niece and nephew off at school and had time to get them before they got out. These people are unprofessional it's ridiculous. I waited till 12:20 and called because nobody reached out to inform on where they were or when they'd be arriving. He said he would call and find out where they were and he'd call me back. He never called me. I called him at 1pm he said oh yeah they'll be there in 20 to 30 mins. Did you not think to call your customer back? How unprofessional can you be? So now I've waited after the time of when they were suppose to arrive and it's 1:45 I called him and he was ignoring my calls, once he answered I cancelled my appointment he wasn't happy but thats to bad. I'm not waiting around for unprofessional people. It's not hard to communicate with a customer on an eta. read more

Did my first load of laundry today. Washing machine is leaking. And bleach does not go into the wash. Called them and missed them by 15 minutes as they close at 3 on Saturday. Couldn't leave a voicemail because voicemail was full which seems unprofessional. Called the son who installed the machines and did the repairs to the washer himself (he told me he did and I had his number because he called me before coming for the install). He said they are closed now (again by 15 minutes) and it has to wait til Monday. Didn't get the feeling he cared about this at all. Wondering if I made a mistake buying from this place. Was trying to support small/family owned business. I guess we will see what happens on Monday. read more

This company sucks . Sears is using them as a third party to fix my dryer. I have been 4 months without a dryer. This is the third time their technician (Freddy) has to reschedule dued to an emergency. All three times the technician came out they have had to order all these parts. They are constantly blaming sears. The lady on the phone who is the same lady on the phone every time i call is so unprofessional and nasty. I tried to understand that an emergency can happen, but after three times its ridiculous. Why not just send another technician? I have said to speak to their manager but I never get a call back.. The phone number (954) doesn't even work half the time when I call them back. This is not a reputable business guys BEWARE if you have to deal with r&r. They are rude and unprofessional. Run the other way if you hear r&r appliances. Trust me they don't even deserve this one star. read more

This is about a General Electric fridge service repair done on 5/31/2022 that only lasted 2 months and 17 days. The dad charged me $120 and insisted on cash. I agreed to the price saying to the dad that it will be professionally serviced. The dad also wanted to overcharge me for parts by $220 more. I said I bought the exact same parts from Amazon for $18 total. The son came over to swap the defrost heater. He said I ordered the wrong size defrost heater but he has the right size in his van. The son agreed to the parts swap. The son was there for less than 17 minutes including chit-chat. Just the parts swap. So, the defrost heater came from R&R, I paid $120 cash for "service", and after less than 3 months the fridge is not working. By the way, I also bought the fridge from R&R 3 years ago. It is so not worth it especially when Costco sells a brand new fridge for the same amount I paid to R&R. read more

Beware of using R&R. They were sent from Loews extended warranty service for a combination wall oven repair. The technician, Kyle, who made the initial call was good. A part needed to be ordered and he noted that this was a two person job, which he said his company would schedule once the parts were in. No surprise since the initial installation took two people. The problems started with a call from a rude customer service rep who called to schedule the second visit and insisted it was my responsibility to make sure the oven was fully accessible for repair (i.e. out of the wall), that R&R never sent 2 techs, and that Kyle misspoke. Her supervisor "just went into a meeting" and was not available to talk to me. 5 hours later, after I called Loews and they called R&R, I learned their policy changed because of the virus. I can accept that, but the rude customer service rep never said that - just insisted they never send 2 techs and Kyle was wrong. The R&R supervisor called after I spoke to Loews, and again blamed the tech. When I called her on that, she admitted that the customer rep was out of line and that policy changed because of the virus. Bottom line - Loews is finding another company to service the oven. Loews and Kyle get 4 stars, R&R gets 1. read more

This company SUCKS!!! My stove went out, still under warranty and I called to have repaired. Lowes sent me to this company and we made an appointment for repair 3 days later, I have now been without an over for 5 days. He comes in looks at the range and says, he needs to order the part because they carry parts with them. It will take 3-5 business days. the part comes in, and 7 days after the first visit he comes back, and now he needs to order more parts, things he didn't catch the first time he was there a week earlier. Now it will be another 3-5 days for that part to come in and another 3-4 days to get an appointment. I have now been without an over for 17 days. I have a family of 5 to feed without an oven. I called this company and they said if I want to pay to have the part rushed it could be there tomorrow. IF I WANT TO PAY, HELL NO. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. read more

The owner came to our house after rescheduling I was told he would be at our house after 10 AM at 3 PM he still have not shown up so I called the business and two minutes later he shows up no 30 minute notice like you're supposed to get. comes in the house talks to my wife for four minutes then leaves saying he'll bring back two parts without ever even checking the machine this dishwasher was not heating and if he was going to guess as to whatParts he needed then he should've brought them with him I called to complain because this was a warranty claim through Asurion with Home Depot he called me back and told me to suck his You know what and that he knows where I live and he was going to come and beat my ass. I needed a dryer because ours only gets warm but takes hours to dry the clothes completely. The employee gave me possible solutions to check the problem rather than blindly purchasing a newer dryer, which I really appreciated. I decided that I wanted a newer driver no matter the issue and a gas dryer. They had several choices and prices to choose from. I was thrilled with the one I chose and even happier that it was delivered and installed within the hour! Even more impressive is the 5-month warranty and that it only cost $30.00 for delivery plus they removed my old dryer at no additional charge. How blessed it that? Yet the overall support and interaction with the customer service and scheduling have been terrible. When we call into Frigidaire for a warranty fix, we provide all of the information and Frigidaire provides a date and time for the technician to review the issue. The day before or the day of the work, R & R calls to move the appointment. This is the 4th time the appointment has been moved and their response is that we need to call them to confirm the date and time. Also, we do not get an email or other confirmation from R & R. A couple of the times, R & R stated that the appointment was not for the day and time we agreed on and waited. Next, they are not up-front about issues. A storage drawer sticks and the technician noticed it but did not immediately mention it as an issue or add it to the ticket. When my wife asked about it on his next visit, he stated he saw it and it should be replaced. Finally, they are not honest about the situation. When we contacted Frigidaire to check on an item and complain about the level of service from R & R, Frigidaire stated the part was to be delivered the next day (per their call with R & R). The next day, R & R called and stated the part was not to be delivered as stated and they did not speak with Frigidaire about the part delivery. I understand that nothing is perfect and things happen. There is no excuse to lie or mistreat customers that are trying to get their appliance issues resolved. Appliances are large expensive items that we rely on and the repair and maintenance service providers need to more up-front with process, have faster delivery dates for parts, honest about appointments and schedules. read more

I had to keep calling to check on the status of the part for my Washing Machine and keep calling to see when they would schedule me for repair. When the part finally came in and they were able to schedule my appointment (a week and half after my initial call when they said it would only be about 2-3 days) on the day of service they never showed up and I of course did not receive a call as to why. When I called they told me the tech quit on the spot and they did not have the part they needed for repair. They wanted me to wait another week and a half to retrieve the part and send someone for service. The customer service was rude throughout this process and they would never let me speak to a manager. Don't use this company to get a consultation for your appliances. I bought a refrigerator from them which works well and I was having issues with my dryer so they told me they could do a free consultation to figure out what was wrong with it. So we did the consultation and they took the dryer. They then told they would call us back about the dryer which they never did until we called them a few months later realizing they wouldn't call back. They told us that they fixed the dryer without our knowledge and requested we pay for the repairs. A friend of mine recommended R & R Appliances so I went to check them out. I walked in and found the exact same make and model washing machine as the one that quit on me!! I was happy to see this!! The owner was very nice and helped me with the reasonably priced washing machine. Delivery was a breeze too. They cam and delivered the machine and took away the old one. The owners are very friendly and courteous people who aim to please and provide service with a smile. Such a refreshing experience as this kind of service seems to be a thing of the past now a days. Brought my stackable washer/dryer in for repair. Was told they would check it out that afternoon. Several days later I called for an update and was told someone would call back... never did so I called again, same response and no call back. Over a week later I drove to the store 1 hr after scheduled opening and no one was there. Called and was told I'd get a call back. NOT! When I did finally talk with the "repairman" he told me my machine was "no good". When I asked him what it needed he said "it's a bad machine" ( it's a kenmore ) I said "certainly it's cheaper to repair it than to buy a new one so what's it gonna take?" He told me he doesn't work on that brand! WHAT? I asked why he didn't tell me that when I dropped it off? His reply was that he only first looked at it a few days ago!
