Knowledgeable, responsive and friendly! Never a good time for a refrigerator to go down. AC Appliance made this experience as painless as possible. The manager scheduled an appointment time slot that his technician stuck to. The friendly technician diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts that were needed. Once the parts arrived, the manager called to notify me and schedule a time slot to install. My fridge is as good as new! Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Was forced to use them for home warranty coverage for three different appliances. One of my appliance I was informed would be impossible to find parts for. Called back a week after initial appt and was told they had parts for some items but were waiting on the rest. Called back again another month later, was told they couldn't find the parts for one of the appliances and home warranty company was trying to find them. I was fine and waited a few more weeks to reach out to home warranty co. which I did only to be told that they were waiting to hear back from AC Appliance if they could even do the job. Call back AC appliance a week later (we are over two months now) and was told they DO have part but are waiting on backorder for a couple of them which could take anywhere between 1-3 weeks if not longer. Decided to end this with the home warranty company as I was given the option to receive a cash payout vs doing the repair. Was told AC appliance was perfectly fine with this as they could return the parts no problem. On accepting, AC appliance decided that restocking and shipping fees, per part (for what they already had), would be $60ea. Obviously gouging and making over $500 for doing zero work. Over 2 months of waiting and would've been well over 3 if not more had I let this go on and I had to purchase a new wall oven for far more than I received from the home warranty due to fabricated return fees, which they would not provide proof of. DO NOT hire this company. The most shady and dishonest company I have ever encountered. Sadly I can't post review without giving a single star. We would definitely recommend AC Appliance repair on Pawnee Street in Apple Valley, CA. We had problems with a Microwave. We called and left a message requesting a call back to set up a repair estimate. Anthony returned our call promptly. He said if we brought our microwave in, it would cost $29.95 to diagnose the problem. If we chose to have AC Appliance fix to problem, the $29.95 would go toward the repair. We were not sure if our old microwave was worth the investment; so, Anthony gave us a wealth of information to assist us in making the decision to repair our microwave or just purchase a new one. We told him we would use that info to do some research and call him back. He said he was glad he could help and said thank you for calling AC Appliance. After looking at new microwave's and several reviews, we called Anthony back and made an appointment to have our microwave looked at and possibly repaired. We brought our microwave to the shop early Tuesday morning. Anthony was out but Derrick set up our repair order and took our microwave out of the trunk (which we appreciated greatly). Derrick said we would receive a call once the microwave was evaluated and an estimate could be made. So off we went. We were on our way home running a few errands here and there and the next thing we know, Anthony calls and says our microwave is already done and ready for pickup. We thought great! So, we make a U-turn and head back to the shop. Back at the shop Anthony explained the cause of our problem and how it was repaired. He also told us how to operate the panel button to make sure it performs optimally. So, we asked how much we owed for the repair and almost passed out when he said the $29.95 covered it. He placed our microwave back in the car and thanked us again for calling AC Appliance. This company is honest, calls you back, gets on the work promptly, and has no problem sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience to assist you in making a decision whether it is worth investing in your existing appliance or simply purchasing a new one. I recently found out that all my ducts in our attic needed to be replaced. I called AC Appliance, and they came out to give an estimate in a timely manner, which worked with my schedule. I had 3 estimates conducted, and AC Appliance beat everyone else's prices. They are courteous, kind, and very professional. They wrapped up the job area so nice that when they were finished; I cant tell they were here. Very clean!! Also, the attic was a mess and they took everything down from up there and disposed of it. My refrigerator had an issue with the lights which AC's technician diagnosed right away. There was some nuances that these guys helped me work around with ease. They came back the next business day to install the new lighting module. Customer service is key to any successful organization and company. We can all agree it's about making the customer feel reassured, respected and most importantly feel supported. AC Appliance is far from having great customer service as my experience with them was appalling and very traumatic. My first service call began in September, with AC Appliance telling me that the parts have been ordered and they will be calling me with updates. Over the past month I haven't heard from them and I as the customer would periodically call to find updates on my repair. One of the calls I was told the parts will come November 15th in which I called the week after to get an appointment set up because again there was no follow up from AC Appliance. On Monday, at 11:43am, I called about the parts and Anthony said it still has not come, but what he can do is have a technician come from 3-5pm. I told him I will need to find out from my tenant if they are available. I called him back after lunch and he told me the appointment time is now booked and he would call me back later. I didn't get any calls the next few days so I decided to follow up. Today, when we spoke about scheduling my appointment he snapped and said he waited all day for me and it was my fault (according to his notes). The real question is , if this is true, why didn't you follow up? I never once got a call back for any updates. I was very shocked by his aggressiveness and unprofessionalism. I told him that is not true and that we connected over the phone (I have the call history on my phone) but he kept pushing back trying to prove he was right. I can tell he was trying to get back at me so he said your next appointment date is now at the end of the month! Mind you I have been waiting 3 months for him to do his job and he is blaming me for not calling him back (which I have done). Also, the next appointment is just strictly picking up a circuit board. I am very unhappy that he chose to pick a fight with me, accuse me of not calling him back, telling me its my fault and making me feel like dirt. My home warranty said they have received similar complaints and will change me to another company. The purpose of this review is to provide feedback so that the customer service can improve as I really hope for the best for them moving forward. read more

I had their tech come out to do a diagnostic to my Samsung Fridge and had my compressor and circuit board parts orders by them to then have a call from Anthony 3 weeks later to tell me he received the parts but since my fridge was still under a 10 year warranty by Samsung that the warranty company would not cover parts nor labor. After I received a call from my warranty company they actually approved all parts and labor. So I called AC Appliance and spoke to Anthony whom was beyond rude and told me there is nothing he can do as he did not have an email from my warranty company advising what was covered and he would not be out of money for parts and labor as he told me I had to pay him over $600 for repairs even though my warranty company covered all parts and labor. I had to 3 way call the warranty company to AC Appliance to have Anthony hear directly from warranty that all parts and labor was covered. He felt so dumb after hearing it from warranty after he tried to scam me for more money that he told the warranty company he was cancelling my service call and that he was making me use another contractor and wait another 3 weeks without a fridge. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED AND BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND FEEL LIKE YOU OWE THEM WHEN THEY SHOULD BE DOING THEIR JOB. VERY AWFUL EXPERIENCE. read more

Our thermador fridge was pathetic at making ice. Finally in June of 2023 it stopped all together. By mid December our home owner warranty company had sent 6 different companies on 11 different house calls. The last technician walked out suggesting we buy a countertop icemaker or buy a new refrigerato. I requested a Thermador certified technician next and they assigned AC Appliance. It was frustrating for everyone as we'd have ice one day and none a few days later Although it wasn't easy to diagnose, Anthony and crew didn't give up. Summary: AC Appliance was rude and disrespectful. They weaseled out of doing an included service due to semantics and therefore I believe I overpaid or paid for an incomplete job. They refused to rectify with added rude behavior. DETAILS below if you'd like. My wife called and got Anthony on the phone, (either is the boss or acts like one). They did offer to replace gas lines/pipes with installing our cooktop. My wife, us having just moved in and getting a replacement cooktop, didn't know how old they were and she said, I don't think so, but we can see when you look at it. Note for later: they said they could do minor cabinet adjustments if needed. Herman (who was kind and respectful) came to install the cooktop. He asked me right away if we needed new gas lines. I said, I don't know. They seem new, I don't think so. Is there a charge? Herman said, It's included in the $165. I said, Ok, you are the professional. I'll do what you recommend. During the install he was kind enough to cut new holes in the cabinet as the connections were different in placement. (they can modify cabinets slightly, remember that). They charged an extra $45 to hall the old unit. That's reasonable. He had to leave to service other customers and return with the proper van. Ok, fine. Here the problems begin. We called back to reschedule the next day. Anthony returns with Herman. I had later noticed the unit was slanted toward the back and unlevel by a 1/4 in. I said they could use my spare plywood even. Just that I needed help to move the unit and lay the wood. I could do it myself with help, but figured: why am I fixing their oversight. But it was 7pm, they wanted to go home I could tell he was upset cuz Anthony was very rude, pushy, and rushing. I paid him respect by paying his fee of $165 and honoring his skill. Unlike Herman, Anthony was rude in tone and behavior. Anthony said that I should replace my gas lines/pipes. I said, Well I had asked you to do it and Herman said it was included. I could tell Herman was willing to do the quick job, but Anthony saw $ signs falling out his pocket and undercut him and replied, Yes, but, I spoke to your wife on the phone and she refused them. It says it on your receipt. Jobs done can't do it. (Even though they were still in my home and in front of my unit.) (Let Herman run the business, I'd pay $185 knowing we'd be taken care of.) Here he attempted, rudely, to pit me against my wife to deflect his misconduct. Incredibly disrespectful. I showed him my receipt, it only says, "Used original lines." Not refused. He didn't care and blamed my wife for refusing the lines. Even though I am the customer, I'm the one paying for the unit and install, I own the home. My wife only kindly set the appointnment as I work 13 hr shifts. Even he said over the phone to my wife that he didn't know what he would charge until he saw the unit. Double standard and misleading. I hired them, they work for me for the install (ofcourse in regards to their services). A/C Appliance seems to think its less expensive to lose a customer and, if I've persuaded you, even multiple customers, than it would be to spend 10 minutes replacing gas pipe/lines that they would already include upon request. And maybe be more respectful. I know it's hard... They must be doing well. Maybe I just got the worst of them. I don't know. All I know is we don't matter. 2 stars in aggregate. Good install, but takes no responsibiliy for minor adjustments like alighnment. Will send their best face forward but internally is rude and disrespectful toward customers who pay their bills.
