Two weeks ago my fridge stopped getting cold but my freezer was still working. I called again company Reliable appliance repair for an appointment. As they book the appointment, they make sure to tell their service fee is $99.95 with or without repairs. I agree had a very polite, very yg man comes to my home. He knocks out the ice blocking the vent between my freezer and fridge and tells me that the problem is not enough air in the freezer and try not to push things too far back (?). I noticed the fan was not spinning, he says it comes on when the freezer door is closed (?). My fridge is a basic freezer on top, fridge on the bottom, no special sensors, hinged doors and in the 8 or 9 yrs owning it I have never had "an air flow problem ". 5 hrs later still not cold. I then call the company 4 times to get a return call. This morning I called Rick at Apple Valley appliance service. He was here within 30 minutes of my call. In less than an hour he replaced the broken fan and had my fridge up and running. He charge was very reasonable. ​I highly recommend this company as he truly cares about service. I noticed that it says "Veteran Owned Business!" Well, thank you for your service, Sir! And It makes perfect sense! We had a washer that suddenly busted during a wash cycle and I returned to my laundry room flooded! After contacting Rick by text and explained our situation, Rick helped us trouble shoot with the washer a bit as my husband is a fix it guy too, just never worked on a washer. The warranty is also expired. And after really doing nothing...to everyone's great surprise, it seems that the leak could have been a clogged drain that has seemingly unclogged itself! I've done about 8 loads now and the washer is working as well as always! One reviewer posted a NEGATIVE review about Rick simply because he gave his honest opinion by phone that whatever she called about wasn't fixable. Geeze lady, don't kill the messenger! Lol! I...on the other hand GREATLY appreciate him NOT coming over trying to squeeze even a nickel out of us. The information he gave us over the phone was FREE, and it greatly helped with our peace of mind towards this project! His willingness to help us over the phone without pay proves to me that he has true integrity and grit. Two Virtues HARD to find in todays SELFISH society. My dishwasher that is only two years old suddenly quit working it didn't show any signs of life. I called Apple Valley appliance and was routed to reliable repair. Two technicians came out within the hour. I explained to them what it was doing. They opened up the cabinet under my sink and I heard the dishwasher start making noises. I asked him was it just unplugged and they said no they are diagnosing the problem now they had a small little meter with them and after speaking in a foreign tongue, to each other they told me it would be an additional $300 as the control panel needed to be replaced. I told them that was more money than I planned on spending right now and I would contact them at a later date before they left. I noticed one of the technicians opened up my kitchen cabinet again and did something and then they left. I thought that was odd so I opened up my kitchen cabinet where the dishwasher plugs in and they had unplugged it when I plugged the dishwasher in it started working in my opinion that is fraud. Obviously the only problem was that the dishwasher somehow had come unplugged possibly because I had a kitchen faucet replaced prior, and the plug was knocked loose. When I called the company to complain I was told the manager would call me back and instead they had the technician who had come out to my home call me I told him I thought that he tried scamming me. He says that he only got the dishwasher to come on and he reset it by his battery operated diagnostic tool which I know is a bunch of baloney he said he only unplugged the unit so no further damage would be done and that most likely the dishwasher will quit working because it needs a new control panel put in. I asked him why he didn't explain that to me and he said he should have done that, but he didn't think to do it. My dishwasher is still working wonderfully do not use this company. Our refrigerator stopped working this week and Rick came over immediately to assess the situation. He initially ordered a new computer board and was sent the wrong one (no fault of his own). He then rushed to order a new one and came right over once it was in. This one worked and our refrigerator is working once again.
