    1. Chicken Shawarma Sandwich

This is not normally a place I would dine in, but thought to give out a try since Yelp reviews were pretty high. The sandwich wraps were pretty good, but the fries were a bit underdone and soggy.

You may think to yourself, "I don't need to get the combo." Which is exactly what my husband did when I put in our order. But one bite of those fries and you'll be kicking yourself (also what my husband did). Because they're that good. Hot, cripsy, and tossed in the most deletable seasoning. I could just eat those fries for a meal and be more than happy. But of course I also got a chicken shawarma sandwich and it was also fantastic. It's packed with plenty of juicy chicken, pickles, and their delicious garlic sauce. Generously portioned and reasonably priced to boot! We got delivery and I was impressed that the fries arrived crispy since a lot of the time they get soggy in transport (it's just physics, man. heat in a closed container = condensation. Not a businesses' fault) but this time our delivery was speedy enough that it didn't really impact it and I am forever grateful because these fries made my day.

    6. Falafel Deluxe Sandwich

First time here. I ordered the falafel deluxe sandwich (falafel, hummus, and tabooli) for $8.49. It is cooked to order so I had to wait. It was past lunchtime but the place was still busy. It looked like one person cooks and one person packs. There is one table for two and the rest of the seating is bistro seating (high top seating facing the parking lot). When my sandwich was ready and the woman handed it to me, my first thought was - that's it? Second thought - overpriced. I still couldn't wait to try it. The wrap was soft and fresh. The falafel tasted ok but it wasn't crispy. I barely noticed the hummus. The tabooli was good but there wasn't much of it. I know this place isn't called Falafel Shop, but I still had high expectations. Won't be back.

Fattoush Salad. Perfect Pita crisps with a hint of...honey? This salad is huge and delicious

Fattoush Salad. Perfect Pita crisps with a hint of...honey? I would love them just to have on hand to snack on. This salad is huge and delicious. The fries came hot as I have ever gotten from delivery. I was a tad disappointed because there wasn't any of the seasoning I read about in other reviews. They were still really, really good so I won't hold that as a negative. And now the chicken shawarma sandwich was A-mazing! Just like others have said. There are few restaurants which prompt me to say "mmmmmm" after each bite. This is definitely one of them! All in all, this place definitely worth a try! I can't wait to try everything.

Excellent, highly recommend! Falafel & gyro meats cooked to order, so expect to wait about 6min if you're interested in those.

One of the most regular places we eat from in A2. Enjoy their freshly-fried falafels, gyro sandwich, and garlic sauce most. An extra plus is that the Lebanese gentleman who orchestrates it all is super kind- will continue supporting and eating here!

This is connected to the Shell gas station so decided to get some food after filling up gas. Quite a few folks were in line so I figured it was at least decent and I haven't had Lebanese food in a long time. I ordered a falafel deluxe which had falafel that was freshly fried with tabuleh and hummus. The tabuleh had crisp fresh veggies that was so refreshing on a hot day. There was a smear of hummus that kept everything stuck together but not excessive and overflowing. The falafel was warm with golden crust and seasoned well - not too salty! Seriously some of the best falafel I've ever had - will make sure I stop by when I'm in town! Also, the men working obviously take their work seriously - the sandwich was made and wrapped with the utmost care and everyone had a mask on!

Shoutout to my friend and fellow foodie Tiffany for always being down to try a new spot together!…read moreWe did a double date at El Harissa recently and it's my favorite kind of spot - welcoming and warm, with delicious food, and kind, patient employees. The cafe is a few tables inside of the market/deli, with a lot of takeout happening but I love that they offer dining in as they heat everything up for you and it's all presented very nicely. We ordered a ton of things: harissa dip, hummus, pita, spice roasted cauliflower, tabbouleh, lasagne verde, chicken tagine, and gelato. I loved that the menu indicates which menu items have a smaller carbon footprint - and we happened to be dining there on Earth Day! The food was all flavorful and the perfect temperature, which I appreciated. My favorites were the harissa dip, tabbouleh, and the lasagne verde. The chicken tagine was very good, and we enjoyed the leftovers the next day. The spice roasted cauliflower left us wanting it to be a bit more crispy, but it was a nice side. The gelato is delicious - it's made by Palazzolo's but El Harissa provides them with the unique ingredients for their specialty flavors. They were out of some but we got to sample several. We ended up with the roasted pistachio gelato and the apricot peach cardamom. The texture of the gelato was perfectly creamy and the flavors were strong. The market has lots of great items to buy: chips, tunisian olive wood pieces, spices, etc. I'm so glad we sought out this spot and can't wait to get more of their food!

Had the: *Spice Roasted Cauliflower (Crispy cauliflower florets coated and baked in rice and chickpea flour and our North African spice blend. Served with Harissa Dip) Small/1-2 Portion - $11): A little soggier than I'd like but the flavors were good! I also like the harissa dip it came with! *Small Merguez Meatballs (Inspired by the Maghrebi sausage, our spiced lamb and beef meatballs are hand-rolled with onions and herbs and coated with a thick tomato sauce. Served with saffron rice or couscous - small portion came with 3 for $10): For meatballs that included lamb - it wasn't gamey at all and very tasty! I picked cous cous for my side. *Chicken Chermoula (Brined, seared, then baked to capture all of its flavor, our crowd-favorite chicken is juicy and delicious. Served over rice with our herby, garlicky, lemony Chermoula Sauce - Double Portion - $18): Our main entree to share. The lemony chermoula sauce was delish. Chicken was perfectly cooked - not dry at all! Mujadara Rice (A Levantine staple of spiced green lentils and rice. Ours is adorned with carefully caramelized golden onions for a touch of savory-sweetness - small for $8) - SO tasty! I could eat this on its own. Maghrebi Chili (Smoky and spicy. Ground beef seasoned with Harissa spices and slowly cooked with chickpeas, lentils, black beans, peppers, and loads of vegetables - Small/Pint - $9.50) - FIBER CITY! Flavors were really good! We also had SO much gelato - they basically let us sample all of them. ended up with the pistachio and tiramisu. I'll be back - especially for a salad with their wonderful chicken - seems like a great healthy option!

We stood in the lobby for some time before three other groups showed up: a white couple, a white woman with her toddler, and a white couple with a baby. Eventually, the hostess appeared, and looking only toward the white patrons, asked how many were in each party. Never asked me. I volunteered that there were two of us. She said it wld be 10 min. When she returned, she motioned to the white woman and toddler, and proceeded to seat them. When she returned, she told the white couple with the baby to follow her. I said, "actually, we were ahead of them, " which she ignored. Her behavior was so offensive that even the white couple volunteered, "she was ahead of us." Reluctantly, she told all of us to follow. She seated all of us at our tables. I asked if they had crayons or paper for kids. She rolled her eyes and pretended not to understand English. Note that she addressed us in English in the lobby. I'll think twice about going back. Without a doubt, the food is amazing. But I don't want to subject my kid to that kind of abuse.
