My brother-in-law recommend that we go here while family was in town. Upon arriving, it was mostly empty, which allowed us to take our time ordering. Our larger group seemed to streets the associates out a little bit (which is understandable) and a rather large line was created behind us. We finished our order and received our food about 10 minutes afterwards. I enjoyed my food! The Tex-Mex wrap was a little spicy, but the ginger sauce helped cool things down. My wife ordered their chicken wrap and it was rather bland. As I was leaving, I wanted to take a picture of the inside, but saw two associates behind the register on their phones. I waited for a few moments, because I didn't want to have that be a part of the picture. However, I eventually took the picture where you can see one of the associates on their phone. The food was good, but the fact that the associates were on their phones for such an extended period bothered me. I will say that after taking this picture, the associates helped my mother-in-law try some of their lemonade, which she enjoyed. All that to say, I don't have very positive feelings about this place, but I'd be willing to return in the future. read more

I have been here multiple times, and have yet to have any dish that I did not absolutely love. I took my kids for the first time today and they devoured their food with gusto. It was their first time trying, at least from there and they are now just as much of a fan as I am of this place. The food quality is unmatched, and they are happy to modify their menu options to match what you want. Yesterday, I had the lamb and beef Shawarma and asked them to add the tandoori sauce in addition to the garlic sauce that already comes with it, and it was a fabulous flavor combination. I was super hungry and on a time crunch and a friend recommended Shawarma Press. I placed my order with the very friendly cashier who recommended the chicken , so I got a chicken rice bowl with Mediterranean salad and garlic sauce. I also ordered a side of hummus because my friend told me it was the best hummus she had ever had. My food was ready maybe 3-4 minutes after I ordered, and the presentation was really nice. Then I dug in and I saw why she was raving about this place: the rice was fluffy, the chicken flavorful and veggies fresh. It satisfied my cravings and then some. The hummus was also very good. First time here and it was good. Fairly a new place with clean and nice sitting area. I had no clue about the menu so the employee was nice to explain it. They have salad bowls, hummus bowls, rice bowls, soups, etc. I ordered the chicken bowl with rice and sauce. The taziki salad was just ok, I would get the regular salad next time because the taziki salad was just taziki sauce hardly salad bites in it. The rice was pretty good in the bowl with prefect cooking and seemed really fresh. The chicken shawarma style was yummy as well. The garlic sauce was pretty flavorful as well. How to describe this place : It's like chipotle but middle eastern style. Overall a good place to eat a quick bite. Tip in getting there: Do not use Apple maps because I got really lost. I absolutely love fresh Mediterranean food! This place satisfied my craving for sure. Whenever we visit a new place, we over order to try a little bit of everything the restaurant has to offer. We started with hummus, falafel bites, spinach pastries and assorted pickles. The hummus is unbelievably smooth. The falafel was fresh and savory tasting. I really liked the spinach pastry, it had enough lemony flavor with just the right amount of sumac. The spicy masala sauce in the tandoori masala shawarma was rich. I don't know how they got the chicken so tender, but it was. I didn't feel like it was very spicy though. Maybe it's because my taste buds are too used to a lot of heat. Still great anyway. We ordered the beef shawarma and rice bowls with tahini and tzatziki sauce. The basmati in the bowls was fluffy. The tzatziki was on point for the depth of flavor. I was surprised because it's just a cucumber sauce--nonetheless, refreshing and tasty. The beef shawarma is well seasoned so that's a plus too. For dessert, we ordered the pistachio baklava and homemade pistachio ice cream. I love how loaded the baklava was with pistachios. The ice cream was luscious! Loaded with sweet goodness and topped with crushed pistachios. This is a place that we will definitely revisit. Highly recommended. HUGE disappointment so buyer please beware. This was quite a simple order that consisted of side items and appetizers. In total, I spent $33 for the food, delivery charge, and tip which was ok but what I was not ok, was that we received a small bag of items filled to feed a child. I felt ripped off and was still left feeling hungry. Never again will I waste money at your establishment. I live nearby and put off this place for a long time. A co-worker said he loved it so I ordered online with the Yelp app which was surprisingly easier thank I expected. It stated 30-45 minutes but I figured it would not take this long so I walked over about 20 minutes after placing my order. The food was ready and sitting in the window to be picked up. Got home and the TexMex was perfect. A little larger than I expected so I have leftovers... NBD The spinach pastry was okay but what got me was the $2.49 baklava. I love my baklava and thought; for this much $$$ it is assured to be a good one. Sadly, it was not and that was the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. We came here based on someone's recommendation. They have so many different items on the menu. I opted for the Chicken tikka shawarma. It was very delicious. They give you a generous amount of meat. The wrap was fantastic and had the perfect crisp. The chicken tikka was so flavorful. It was also spicy but so good. My hubby got a beef shawarma and thought it was okay. Finally made it to Irving to try out this shawarma place. I love that there is a flatbread option. I don't know whether pita or flatbread is the authentic choice, but I learned to eat falafel on flatbread in a long-gone place in San Francisco's Haight district so that's my authentic choice (and one previously unfound in Dallas). I paid $2.99 extra for fries and a drink. The fries were yummy, but the drink was a salty yogurt beverage that perhaps is an acquired taste. The falafel shawarma had lots of tasty pickles and was pretty awesome. I have no suggestions- keep it up! read more

The most flavorful "fast" food I've ever had. Order came out quickly. The chicken and been were so flavorful. If you need more flavor their tahini and Tex/mex sauces won't disappoint (that's the 2 we tried) . Very friendly service. Prices very reasonable. read more

First shawarma place I've tried in this area and I'm not disappointed. Also when they say spicy tandoori they mean pretty spicy, about equivalent to a good full red salsa. The decor is really nice. It's bright and colorful without being obnoxious. The spinach pie was way to bread-y. Having had the real things it was a bit of a disappointment, but flavor was decent. The falafels were REALLY good. The seasoned fries were good as well. The falafel wrap, however, was a little above par. It's better than a lot of others I've had but I asked for it to be spicy. They charge extra for the spice, but there wasn't any extra spice. The soda machine was leaking water and caused a puddle on the counter. This place is so good especially their tandoori press wrap. We're from Arkansas and every time we come we stop by to get food.

It's a shame that this was not better because it's really close to my home off Royal in NW Dallas and it's inexpensive. It's fine. Average, perhaps. I've had worse. I was hoping it would be similar to the kebab places that are typically run by immigrants all over Europe. Or that it would be a slightly different but equivalent take on Halal Guys. But it's a step below, in my opinion. The falafel is great. The meat is...NOT great. The fries are frozen. If you're in the neighborhood, it would do in a pinch. But there are better options all over Dallas and even in Irving (try Arabian Bites!). But if you're RIGHT HERE and not willing to drive far and you're hungry, this is an adequate enough low cost option. read more

This place rocks. I just wish I had visited sooner. I've came here about 4-5 times in the last few weeks and every visit is consistent, both in food and service. Today's visit was exceptional. I got off of work late and rushed over to get dinner so I didn't have to eat the late night fast food joints. I walked into the restaurant at about 9:50 and they closed at 10. I asked them if it was okay to still order and they treated me like I was their first customer of the day. The guy said "Of course come on in, more customers the better!" I've been coming here lately for lunchtime since my co-workers always recommend it! This is a new place that popped up in the new Irving plaza. It has amazing halal food for such a great value. The staff is very attentive, and the restaurant knows how to keep people moving during the busy lunchtime hour. I've tried the Shawarma Fries and the Shawarma sandwich itself. The shawarma fries is basically the inside of the shawarma over fries. Anything fries I am a huge fan of! This place continues the legacy of "fry" inspired dishes. The shawarma sandwich is very flavorful. For the value, you would get full off of one sandwich. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to-go! Although the place has tacky interior and fast food like presentation, this place has been slowly winning my heart over one lunch at a time. Ive been here several times and each time has been a worthwhile experience. I ordered the tandoori malasa wrap, the beef wrap, shwarma and hummus bowl, and some falafel bites. The pita bread was delicious pressed! It really made everything come together. The chicken was moist, except for a bite or two. the sauces were good, but some of it gets shifted to the bottom. Their beef is fantastic! Candy charred bark on the outside several pieces, while still tender and moist on the inside. Its seasoned well and was great in the shawarma or hummus. The shawarma and hummus bowl is a great option if you want beef but dont want rice or bread. The hummus is smooth and creamy. The pita bread they provide is soft, warm, yet sturdy for scooping hummus. The falafel had a great mixture but it could have been just a bit crispier to my taste. Still, its good ass falafel. The prices here are reasonable. You can spend as much as 6 dollars to 20 dollars on a meal here. If you have a huge appetite, dont think that one wrap is going to fill you up. You may need to order two, which is fine by me. I really hope this place picks up in notoriety. This place is an excellent additional to the already wonderful choices of Mediterranean food in this area. read more
