I found this place on a google search as the restaurant I planned on visiting was closed. My diet is mainly vegetarian but I do eat chicken. I ordered the veggie burger (single) with extra cheese. As for toppings I went with everything except no tomato and chose tizikki as my sauce. I couldn't pass up on French fries, my weakness. I decided to add a protein packed chicken kabob skewer for good measure. The chicken kabobs are not the bright yellow from a saffron yogurt marinade that many places use. This one had a seasonings of salt and pepper and I think I tasted citrus. It was very tasty but a bit too much black pepper for my taste. The veggie burger had great reviews. There seemed to be a mix up with the toppings as there was a lot of tomato but no extra cheese. The VB had a crispness and held together well. There is slight sweetness, perhaps a bit of falafel mix as a binder? The fries were crispy and had a seasoning on but were not overly salty. They almost reminded me of the Burger King fries where there was a crisp coating on them. Sometimes as a vegetarian, you really crave a big messy burger like sandwich. This is it! Some assembly required. I found this place in google search and thought i would give it a try. I ordered chicken shawarma with extra pita. The chicken was overly fried/roasted and was not at all eatable. The pita was okay but i have come to expect much better pitas from middle eastern cuisines. Don't intend to visit again. My experience probably is a one-off though based on the ratings read more

So new that there's some issues to work out. Only 1 guy doing everything, cooking, taking orders, payment. That makes for slow service. They can't make every dish because they're always running out of something. No brewed iced tea or fountain drinks. Food tastes fine. Generous portions. Nothing short of five stars after 3 visits. Believe it or not, I actually ordered a burger instead of the good stuff the first time I went. Fries here are great. Crispy and seasoned with deliciousness. So either it's a burger or the gyros, get the combo. Burger was good. Just different and more fresh than a fast food burger so it's a nice change of pace if you want something different. Went in today and got the beef and lamb gyro. This thing was monstrous and full of flavor. Had tomatoes, tzatziki, and some spicy sauce. Trust me... tell them you want some of that spicy sauce. Such a nice bite to it. One thing I hate is going to eat and still being hungry. You won't have this problem here. Enjoy! read more

A solid 5 stars as this establishment hit all four categories to warrant an outstanding score. -Portion size: terrific, I was definitely full after my first plate of beef schwarma. Came with hummus, basmati rice, a nice side salad to offset the palette. -Taste: great, was seasoned perfectly and had good Mediterranean flavors. -Customer service: outstanding, attendant explained the menu well and offered a sample of baklava after order was complete. She was gracious to her trainee after she unknowingly missed an order. -Price: Won't break the bank, especially for the thousands of college students that surround the area. Can't go wrong with a stomach full of food for only $10!! Will definitely pay this eatery another visit to try the other menu items. I am a regular customer here and recently i'm so annoyed i will not order again. Last time i ordered i received 2 of the wrong drinks, this time i order at 3:20 40 minutes before close time, and my order was accepted only to be waiting for an hour for nothing. it's past close and order still says "preparing" so now i'm gonna have to deal with postmates support to get my money back. Very nice flavors. We both got the beef shawarma plate to go, which includes beef shawarma on yellow rice, humus and pita, parsley salad, and lentil soup. The meet quality and flavors were very good. The lentil soup was hearty and delicious. We didn't eat in, but the restaurant has a nice, cool atmosphere and music. read more

This place is in an older building near ASU. I've gotten it twice now. Once from Grub Hub and the other I went in and ordered and carried it out. Their chicken shawarma sandwich was fantastic. They allow you to pick what toppings you want on it. This is the first place I've seen that adds green olives--which I love. It's a great price for the amount of food you receive. read more

They put whatever you want on your veggie burger and the price is right. I got mine with jalapenos, hummus, onions, garlic, lettuce, ketchup and cheese. The veggie burger tasted nice and fresh and was filling. It didn't taste like your typical warmed up veggie burger from the freezer. The bun was pretty good too. My only complaint about this spot after my first visit at about 12:30am at night is the fries were bland and old tasting. I got fries with feta cheese which for some reason they put the cheese under the fries. Normally I can eat fries without ketchup but these were almost impossible to do that with and they didn't give me any ketchup for them. I will be coming back here for the veggie burger but I'm going to have to figure out what other side I'm going to get with it in the future. read more

I ordered Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Platter. Shawarma was worth every penny with tasty sauces and loads of chicken yeahh which was the best, rarest and catchy thing!! Must try! Chicken Platter was good too. But for me, the chicken kebabs were slightly less flavory. However, it may vary depending on your taste buds. First time here tonight but not my last. I don't eat near asu a lot but to meet friendly peppy staff on Tuesday night that are workin hard is a an amazing find in and of itself. The head cook/attendant/ likely night shift manager definitely knows what's she's doing and how to treat customers. The guy that plays intramurals and has a cross earring also knows the menu and was helpful with recommendations. In the time I was there they had a few regulars and they knew what these people get. So just feel good vibes in general. Ok now about the grub. I wanted primarily meat and veggies so ordered Mediterranean salad added beef Schwarma meat and a kefta kebab. . Also wanted to try the falafel. Loved everything I got . Carnivore by nature so tried the falafel but I'll leave it for the true vegetarians next time. Taking the chicken curry to go( was told it's Moroccan style) . She did say the Indians who come in on the regular vouch for it so even though it's just listed in a piece of paper attached to the menu it's legit and stays on the menu. The chicken and hummus is great. The restaurant is very chill and family run. Prices are very reasonable and worth every dollar.

No one wears a mask, they forgot a skewer I ordered couldn't go back i live 30 minutes away. Bought 10 dollar Groupon for 20 dollars worth of food. Got 2 Gyros, Gyro plate Swarma plate and order a skewer which I didn't get. Food was cold tasteless and dry. I don't know where they get the meat from it looked like scraps of meat I really don't know what happened. I'm very disappointed I will never recommend and will never go back. read more

I've tried a few of the shawarma around Tempe and this takes the cake for late night shawarma shops. For the price you get a heaping portion along with hummus which you would pay extra for at other restaurants. The shawarma doesn't have the bland flavoring that other restaurants do. I ordered pickup and it took about 35 minutes, so you might want to consider that if you're dining in in a rush. Don't let that deter you though, it's still the best price gyros near me. Between the two of us, we got the falafel wrap and the gyro. I asked for feta on my gyro, so they put a lot on the side! Which was awesome. The only reason I'm taking off a star is for the long wait and we told them in person no hot sauce on the gyro when they asked and they still put it on when I hate hot sauce :/ but we'll definitely order from here again.
