Stay was alright. I booked 2 double king rooms, connecting. Microwave only in 1 of the room and that didn't work. Also only 1 working hair dryer out of the 2 rooms worked. 1 bathroom tub had few cracks on the floor. I paid $120/ each room. My birthday party I planned wasn't in the system. Made me so frustrated, I had kids coming and I couldn't very well tell some of them they couldn't come. However they let me have the party. That ran very smoothly, I thought. The kids had a blast! The pool room is beautiful. Especially at night, the lights come on. I hope that brings more business for party's they're way. I left pleased my Party for my 2 girls went well. read more

Season's is a restaurant that is part of the adjoining hotel. I've never stayed here so I can't speak to the status of the hotel rooms. I will say the public areas of the hotel appear clean and well maintained. It's somewhat uncommon for us to dine at a hotel restaurant without staying at the hotel as well. We however have stopped at Season's three different times now when there's been a snafu with going to another destination. We haven't been disappointed yet. We've had the Friday fish, Sunday broasted chicken and rounded it out with a ribeye to boot. Pleasantly surprised with each dinner. They each seemed to be a quality entree with decent flavorings. It is a restaurant within a hotel, so it's not super fancy. I note it as a worthy destination if you find yourself looking for a bite to eat and it's that time of day when other area restaurants might have too long of a wait. read more

This place is a joke. As soon as we walk in the door the smell of mold and mildew hit me in the face, and I'm allergic to ALL molds. The desk clerk was nice and polite, it's not her fault the place reeks of a run down house with a wet basement. She checked us in and tells us our room is on the second floor on the North side and we will want to drive around and park in back. What she failed to tell us was they have no elevator. So here is my husband trying to carry up a completely full large cooler with probably a case and a half of beverages and 20 pounds of ice, along with his duffel. and me with a brace on my foot/ankle carrying my bag, trying to make it up a flight of stairs in a hallway that is more like a sauna. We finally make it to our room, open the door and find it's not just the hallway that's a sauna, but the room too. First things first, where is the AC? Second, after being on the road over 4 hours, the bathroom. I walk in the bathroom to find a toilet that is so small and short that it looks like it was pulled out of a grade school. Then I notice a handicapped grab bar in the shower. Nice feature, right. But I have to ask, who puts a handicapped grab bar in a second floor hotel room that doesn't have an elevator so the handicapped can access the room? Where is the logic in that? Also there are no available sockets near the bed to plug in and change cell phones. We are in a room with 2 queen size beds and there is only one light source between the 2 beds to be shared by both beds. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but the signal is so weak my husband could not get a text message to go through to his brother on the first floor. So now after just 3 hours of sleep on a rock hard mattress, here I sit in the dark for over an hour now, at 3:30am, unable to breathe due to the mold and mildew in a hot room writing this review and looking for a different hotel to stay in hoping that the shower at least has good water pressure and wondering how this place is rated as one of the best hotels in the area. Nothing great but not bad. First time here, check in process VERY SLOW. Two people at front counter but only I checking people in. Turns out as we checked in, counter lady says " we have 2 rooms for you." Response- here is my confirmation number- showing 1 room. "No problem I'll cancel room 2." 3 hours later front desk calls, say we put you in wrong room. We learned this because person with name like yours just checking in!! (Room 2 remember?) Accommodations First: The place really only has one thing going for it, the location. It has got to be one of the most poorly managed hotels I have ever stayed in. We were there for a wedding, and I understand it was also a Green Bay Packer home game as well. This was not news, it is week 6 of NFL season. Our room never got cleaned until we complained a SECOND time at midnight!!! The Bride and Groom's room wasn't clean/available at 4 pm. The communication between the front desk members to the new ones coming on shift was non-existent. I had to talk to them 3 times to get the right quoted rate for our rooms. Unfortunately for Shawano Wisconsin, there are not many choices when it comes to lodging, which makes me want to stay in Green Bay next time. I sure hope the hotel managers get a clue and turn things around. It could be a gold mine if run properly. Now for the Restaurant: We had breakfast Monday morning. We arrived at 9:30 am and we did not get our food until 10:13! It was not any complicated nor special food, just breakfast items straight off the menu. The waitress was surly and argumentative when we pointed out it had been nearly 45 minutes. The food quality was good, maybe worth 3 stars, but the atmosphere and hospitality were both in short supply. read more

We stay at the Shawano Four Seasons hotel when visiting Shawano. While it's no Hilton or Marriott, it is a nice clean budget hotel in the area. We were able to get a reasonable rate for our overnight stay. The staff wasn't the most friendly but we were checked in quickly and given a room. Our room was clean and served the purpose of sleeping as well as getting ready for the days happenings. The rooms are not the most up to date. The hotel is still going through some updates. The furniture is hodge podge from other hotels. The room has a flat screen TV and new carpet, but the bathroom reminded me of something from the early 70s. The hair dryer (I think it was a hair dryer) was also a very interesting feature from the early years. The hotel also has a pool and a restaurant with a bar. We did not visit the restaurant or bar on this visit but did check out the pool area which seemed pretty average. It looks like a chalet so if you're into that while swimming you're in luck. Overall this a good choice for an overnight stay in Shawano. Prices are fair and you're getting a clean room for a night or two. read more

Too many negatives......rude, noncaring, no customer service oriented front desk clerk, a bed that felt like you were sleeping in a flat hole, and overall needs an update feel. When we went to the front desk to change our room, it seemed like we were an inconvenience. This place needs better management and the employees need training. On a positive note, the bar area was great. Very friendly people and good service. Update.....we were given a different room that was 100% better. The mattress was new and the room looked recently updated. If they have horrible mattresses in some rooms, replace them or put the room out of service. They may want to also check the refrigerators that are in the room. Some do not work. Replace them or remove them. read more

Stayed here over Thanksgiving for the Packer game. The new renovations are well done. Our room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Great value!!! The restaurant was way beyond my expectations. Breakfast, dinner, and the Thanksgiving brunch were all very good and the service was excellent. Although a little bit of a drive from Green Bay, I will definitely plan to stay here again for our next Packer game. read more

A buddy of mine and I had lunch at the Four Seasons Restaurant on 1/28/17 to celebrate completion of an important project that morning. The food was excellent: the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings ranks as one of the very best in the area and the Reuben sandwich with tasty seasoned fries was first class. Our server was attentive to our every need and even took a few moments to chat about mutual friends. The decor was welcoming, not overdone as we sometimes see when a venue is trying too hard. The breakfast/lunch selection includes many tempting items - next time I may try one of the build-it-yourself burgers or that awesome sounding Cuban sandwich. The dinner menu includes top-of-the-line lobster, prime rib, surf & turf, etc., all you might expect. Highly recommended. read more

We tried this restaurant twice. The first time, the food was terrible, the second time the service was so poor we walked out after 30 minutes waiting for a waitress to take our order. The layout is awkward which causes a crowded mess and people tripping over each other. The bar is small and they have no idea how to make an old-fashioned. read more

Great stay. We stayed in a whirlpool tub room. They rooms are decorated very nice and we had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and if we needed anything, they handled it promptly. The food at their restaurant was excellent. Maid staff were friendly and generous with anything we needed. Manager showed pride in recent renovations and made sure that we were happy.
