I was left to find alternate lodging with everything else in green lake already booked. I am sure it is a nice place but my situation was handled very poorly and i will not be seeking lodging here in the future.

It smelled like paint. It was noisy with workers communicating loudly up and down the hall, and carpet cleaning machines. Given the lack of cars in the parking lot, it seems like they could have given us a room on a floor without the maintenance work. I said as much on the survey they asked me to take. Their response was that they hope to do better next time. There won't be a next time. I'll fondly remember having to excuse myself to get around the friendly guy painting our door frame. Good Times.

The bartender accused one of our members of bringing in alcohol when they didn't. The staff was super friendly, and the team at the top of the slope helping us were really cool. They made me feel more comfortable and even helped me overcome my fear of tubing. A few tips: Be sure to wear lots of layers and thick socks! I wore all-weather Sperry rain boots since I'm not usually in snow, but my right foot got cold pretty quickly. We ended up warming up with lattes from the ski lodge café, which was a nice break. Also, be prepared for a lot of walking, even just to reach the conveyor belt that takes you up the slope. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I'd definitely recommend it! Just come dressed for the weather and ready for a bit of a workout.

The kitchen had everything that we needed in order to prepare meals. A fire pit was available for our use as well as a BBQ. The bathrooms had quality style towels and were comfortable as far as water temperatures and water flow was perfect for a rain style shower. The beds were comfortable with more than enough blankets, sheets and pillows for our use. The owners, Kelly and Gerard were very personable and accommodating. Upon our arrival, Kelly greeted us and gave us the rundown on everything that we needed to know about the cabin and the area. Gerard was fantastic by showing us rest of the property including the barn and pond. They even allowed us access to a couple of boats for us to row around or motor in. Gerard allowed us to operate his tractor and mini bike - both of which were a real highlight to us city folks. The whole experience of staying at Cabin on the Creek was very memorable and our family would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a getaway to this area in Wisconsin.

READ BEFORE BOOKING!!!…read more If you want your family to have a great time, create core memories, and see them smile ear to ear? Evergreen Campsites & Resort is the perfect place to go! My family and I have never been to a campground before and stayed in the Blue Lagoon cottage on the resort. It was clean, beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We had no idea what to expect but the staff was very helpful and fun. Friday, we went mini golfing, which was a blast and easy to figure out, hung out by the lake in the evening, and walked the grounds to check the place out. We also found the arcade with the two kids (8 years old) and it was reasonably priced and fun! At night it was nice and quiet too. Saturday, we checked out the pool, and the kids were able to play while the adults also checked out the adults only pool. There is a swim up bar which was very convenient. Afterwards, we decided to order some pizza from their store which they delivered to us and I'm not kidding, it was DELICIOUS! My son even said, "this is my favorite pizza ever". We then packed everyone up to head to the lake where we spent hours there. As a mom, I always worry about the kids in the water, but this set up was incredible. It's shallow and my 8-year-old could walk all the way to the blow-up obstacle course without going under. The lake was their favorite part of the whole weekend as well. That night they were having their "Holiday do over weekend". So, there was a band, countdown to the new year, and Mardi gras theme, decorations, etc. The music was amazing and the kids LOVED it! We finished the night off with a bonfire and could not have asked for a better weekend. My family will remember this weekend forever and we cannot WAIT to return!!!

We ended up canceling our reservation for this summer (2024) because we couldn't justify yet another increase. Staycations shouldn't break the bank. It's a shame, because the lake is glorious.
