Amazing service super friendly. The spot is like in the corner of the mall lol. We went at night and it looked super hidden like a hidden gem lol. But it was good actually, sweetness is accurate and actual boba wasn't bad at all especially the time we went which was near closing time. The inside looked decent as well. This place is a hidden gem for sure. I've been to Weller Court multiple times but somehow missed this place, normal because I'm in a hurry but today I was just casually walking Weller Court & saw it. Little Toyko definitely has it shares of tea places, but I like variety & if variety is what you like, then Sharp Tea is definitely for you. They also have delicious pastries and the fluffy pancakes are so good. Sharp Tea is a small place tucked in a corner next to Tokyo Central. The owner was super nice and very helpful. The place is small, not good for big groups. There's no seating inside but plenty of outdoor seating. The variety of teas are great and the fluffy pancakes are delicious, try the strawberry ones.

After a long walk, a fruit tea is just what's needed to quench the thirst! We ordered the unique fruit tea with lychee jelly. You can taste the fresh quality of the tea and overall, solid place for a fruit tea. Staff was really friendly. Wish there was a place to sit but there were no chairs for the table and ledge that was in the interior.

My first time ever trying air souffle pancakes was at Sharp Tea. I frequent this place often since I visit Kinokuniya Bookstore and Marukai Market right across from it. It's a tiny little hole in the wall shop. There is no seating inside, just enough room to order and then you have to exit. There's a bench right outside the door you can wait while they prepare your boba and/or your souffle pancake. The pancake is EXPENSIVE. Average cost is $14-16, depending which one you choose. They are super delicious! I love these air pancakes. The downside is the cost and sometimes the wait. The last time I visited it was a 30 minute wait! I understand that souffle pancakes take time. I know this review is going on and on about the pancakes, but their boba drinks are good too! I've treated a few people to these pancakes and they love them! Super delicious. Worth the wait? Yes, as long as you have patience and time. There are places to sit as long as it's not a busy, crowded weekend. The ambiance is ok, it's a very tiny shop. Service is good, they're baseline polite and friendly. They don't over do it or fake it. They aren't rude either. Honestly, just come for the air souffle pancakes!

Don't let the inside fool you!!!! The inside of the shop is super small and you have to place your order and then step outside to wait for it to be made. It's also super hot inside. BUT the drinks are well worth it. I ordered the white peach oolong tea and the pink panther strawberry lemonade (no toppings in either-- toppings are extra). The drinks were absolutely delicious. Dare I say absolutely scrumptious. The tea had a great depth of flavor and the lemonade had real fruit pieces. They were also made super fast. I literally stepped outside after ordering and blinked and my drinks were done. Some reviews have said that it was hard to find. It's directly under the kpop music town and directly next to the stairs. Walk around the stairs and it'll smack you in the face.

We were visiting Little Tokyo for the new Bandai Gachapon shop down the street and stumbled upon this boba shop! We have been wanting to try some boba spots out here that we haven't been to and this was the one we ended up choosing due to ratings and photos. :) thanks Yelpies! We walked into the plaza and stood in the middle, trying to find this place. It's actually hidden behind the staircase so you can't see it coming in from the main plaza LOL. We were so lost! It was raining a bit too so we got a little soaked. They don't have indoor seating or anything and it's a very, very tiny hole in the wall. Basically only enough room for 2 parties to order what they want and then you have to wait outside for your order. They keep the door open for that reason. We were second in line which gave us time to look at the menu. I wanted to try their coffee drinks so I went for an iced cafe latte with double boba and my bf got a classic milk tea with boba. We also ordered a chocolate air pancake (soufflé pancake) and the guy told us they had to make a new batch which would take about 30-45 min. We were fine with it since we wanted to check out the other shops in the plaza anyway. We walked around for a bit and then headed over 5 minutes before our estimated time. We had the drinks in hand already which were delicious by the way! I definitely preferred my bf's milk tea drink over mine. Had a really good sweetness and milk tea flavor. My latte was a little too strong/bitter and could've used a bit more cream and sweetener BUT I enjoyed it regardless. I needed my coffee for the day and this did the job. Our pancake was ready when we went over there so we picked it up, asked for a lid, and then headed home to enjoy to avoid the rain and wet tables/seats. Unfortunately by the time we got home, the pancake was super soggy and we couldn't finish it. I'm sure it would've tasted amazing if eaten fresh which we will have to try next time! I ordered a brown sugar boba tea and I literally just got milk with boba... This picture is AFTER I tried mixing it around The spicy chicken is hardly spicy. That's subjective I guess but if you love spicy food, go for the fire level. All around, pretty disappointing...

Me and my boyfriend stopped here for some yummy boba milk teas on our way to a concert! This whole little shopping center is so adorable and chill. it had lovely live music and cute attractions with so many shops. Kail and i ordered the lavender black tea with boba. we both give it a 10/10. It wasn't over sweetened, unlike many other boba tea shops, which was spectacular. it had such a nice floral and black tea taste. We also got the strawberry matcha with boba and it was really yummy!! the strawberry purée was super sweet and tasted well with the matcha tea. The two workers were very friendly and sweet and had our orders out super quick! :)

I'm always on the look out for a new boba spot with good desserts. Their yelp page and air pancake sparked my interest, so I decided to give it a try. I had the tiramisu air pancake and the lava flow boba milk tea. Both are average at best. The air pancake is flavorless and flavor came from the toppings. I wont go out of my way for. Cute shop, but still a pretty average boba spot. read more

Absolutely love their fluffy pancakes!!! It would be cool if there were new toppings in the future, possibly things similar to crepe toppings, because the pancakes really take the cake at this place :) I've only had their fruit tea which was very lightly sweetened, but I honestly prefer that over heavily sweetened drinks. The tea would probably taste a little better if they added some lemon juice and brewed it a little stronger, but that's just my own personal preference. I have really high hopes for this place and I really hope that they last! read more

I've tried their Boba Pancake and Mango Milk Tea. I'd highly recommend both. The mango milk tea isn't sweet or super fruity, it's a good milk tea with like a mango fragrance? Like floral almost but mango. It's bomb, try it Their boba is one of the best bobas in LA imo. It's sweet and perfectly chewy. The pancake is actually a lot so I'd recommend sharing. I didn't go to the actual storefront. I tried their unique tea when I was at the ktown night market. It was pretty good. I would definitely visit the storefront if I had stayed in Los Angeles little longer. It was very refreshing. There were notes of oranges and passion fruit. A small little boba shop that also sells those airy pancakes! Unfortunately, I didn't have room for those pancakes, but I heard this place had a different type of sea salt foam. I ordered the Jasmine green tea with the sea salt foam. They brulay the top so there is a more smokier taste to your drink! I liked it! read more

Wasn't what I expected. Thai Tea tastes just like plain milk. Sharp Milk Tea tastes like tofu. Which I don't think that's how it should have tasted. I had high expectations for this one because it was supposed to be the store's signature. Unique Fruit Tea tastes ight. But presentation was very disappointing. Jasmine Milk Tea was the only one that tasted good. Drinks were rushed even though there wasn't even a lot of customers. Proportions or boba to drink is uneven. Although the boba balls do tastes good. Oh and the drinks were quite pricey for what the result was. :( read more

This review is for the strawberry milk alone. Super disappointing. Hardly any strawberries. Mostly milk. I'd say you get about one pinky knuckle of strawberries on the bottom and the rest is all milk they tell you to stir and I get like I stirred for a good minute before it turned a very light shade of pink. Maybe some people like it this way, but if I'm paying extra for strawberries I kind of want a punch of the delicious fruit, not a hint of it. What is this the la croix knockoff boba version? If I ever try the air pancakes I hope it's better. read more

Got the tiramisu air cake and an unsweetened black tea! The tea was perfectly brewed and the cakes were cooked in a way that they were fluffy but not raw like some fluffy pancake places! The food was very good and super cute. We had the air pancakes and they tasted very light and fluffy. The fruit that comes on top of the pancakes was fresh. The air pancakes and very thick but small so it's easy to finish in one sitting. Both inside and outside are very clean and nice atmosphere. This review is for the drinks only. I wanted to like this place and add it to a list of boba cravings. 2 times I've went with my friends to get drinks they had no boba. I first got a pink panther drink with a large glass. My 2nd visit I asked the difference between a similar strawberry watermelon drink and the pink panther drinks line, I was told pink panther was made with milk and comes with Lychee Jelly. I requested to substitute boba instead of lychee jelly bits because I don't like , he said that's not possible even though boba cost less and it's a matter of scooping it in.. When I got my drink the second time it was small! I asked why and he pointed to the menu and said Q means small... and to upgrade for 75 cents. I did not know that.. as my last drink was large and Q does not translate to small, theres no key indicating that. I can't help but feel a certain way and a bad feeling as if there might have been discrimination. Hence, I will not be returning here. I can say that the cups are nice though.. just not worth $6.00 for a small cup of strawberry milk and lychee jelly. read more

The souffle cake is only so-so. They make it to order. I got the boba version, and it was unique, but I just didn't think the fluffiness is worth the wait/price/sacrifice of getting either a souffle or a pancake instead. On the other hand, their tea is excellent. I love their brown sugar boba -- you don't need sugar in your tea, because your boba will supplement it quite nicely. This is definitely a good spot to get your bubble tea when you are in this area. read more

Apparently they throw cup holders at you and they also push drinks at you and dropped one of my drinks and didn't want to replace my drink, I use to be in food business and even if it was an accidental spill I would replace the drink. It was also still within their counter space. They were rude about it but there was one very nice worker. The other lady possibly the owner said "too bad" basically. I usually don't ever have a bad review but they were so mean about it I had to give a bad review. Also they place a rubber mat to prevent the drinks from sliding but the lady placed a drink and pushed it forward which cause the fall. read more

My roommates and I love Sharp Tea! We prefer them over the other boba shops in LT. Their boba is actually soft and chewy. our favorites: Mango Milk Tea Thai Tea Oolong Adding the sea salt foam makes your drink even better. And the foam doesn't sink down into the drink like other places. It's thick enough to stay at the top even after a few minutes and it's better than it being thin and runny. We tried the strawberry and boba air pancakes and they're so worth! :)) Definitely go and try! read more

And it's not like the kitchen staff didn't know it was undercooked, it was sliced on the plate. They didn't have A1, so I used the chimichurri sauce that came with it. I should have sent it back, but I wanted to try this legendary food. Surprise, surprise, it was bad. The chimichurri sauce tasted more like olive oil than anything (I know its made with olive oil but still). The eggs and hash browns were also below average. Well not a completely horrible experience, the Clark Street Diner was far below my expectations and I don't think I will return.
