Bavarian Pretzel with sauces and a cold beer in the background.

We love the restaurant at Sharp Park! We have had several dishes over the years but tonight my golf foursome split two huge Bavarian Pretzels with two sauces - a hot mustard and a sour cream. These Pretzels are so good, I'm bringing my wife back here to try them. They are that good! Beers on tap are always fresh and the service is always warm and friendly.

Can you see how burned it is?

Is there a new owner of this restaurant ? Food, food, food has to improve. Since the beginning of this year, a place we have depended on for excellent quality of food and preparation of it has completely failed. Order a Ribeye and get a flank steak, order it rare and get it well done...order meatloaf and get it grilled to burned, dry meatloaf?!?! Vegetables have no flavor, mashed potatoes are watery and chunky I really want this place to succeed we don't have many good places in Pacifica, but I don't know how they're going to if this is their new business model I'm not talking about one day I am speaking now about three months of a complete change in for the absolute worst

    French dip

The French dip is the best great service a bit loud u get to watch the golf players it's amazing.

I don't want to tell anyone about this place because I like it just the way it is. Other places it seems like you go into and you're not comfortable, here I am completely different from any other. High vaulted ceiling. Cozy, old school feel. Which new restaurants cannot do. They attempted it but to no luck . Ordered the prime rib, soup and side of fries. Vegetable came with meal. Fries were crispy and creamy in the center. Prime rib was definitely on point. Horseradish sauce was a bit creamy but did its job. Au just came on the side. Meat was done perfectly medium rare. Great meal for the value of $35 plus tip.

We rewarded ourselves with lunch following a very muddy golf game today. Revised menu reflecting a 20% price increase across the board. This hasn't prevented people from eating here. After all price increases are the norm in the Bay Area over the last year or so. There's a daily special menu posted on the whiteboard as you enter the restaurant to your left. And also at your table. Today hubby went with the roast leg of lamb with mashed potato and sautéed mix veggies. Believe it or not I ordered something I've never had here. The roast beef dip sandwich. How do I want the meat? I said medium rare. It was a very generous sandwich. The bread was like a brioche bun but oval shaped. The meat was stacked high. Dipped into the au jus. Yum Yum. Choice of fries, coleslaw, potato, or mixed green salad. Menu offerings include breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and lunch plates. My go to usually is the cheeseburger, the patty melt, or the Reuben. Our friends ordered the cheeseburger, the roast leg of lamb special, and the chicken parmigian special. Diners include both golfers and non golfers. Next time I have lunch here I might try the roast beef dip sandwich again.

This is the best prime rib deal in town. For $31 you can get a prime rib Dinner with all the trimmings. Clam chowder soup or salad, prime rib, baked potato and veggies. We came here on a Friday evening and got the prime rib and the rib eye dinner at $30. What a deal. We were Happy campers.

Bren ages since I was last here. Used to be our go to place for special occasions or just a good ol' inexpensive prime rib dinner. Made reservations for my dad's birthday. Appreciated that they accommodated our large party. Pros - Staff were friendly, work hard, and attentive. Warm bread and butter served. All dinner entrees come with choice of soup or salad, vegetables, and choice of a potatoe (mashed, baked or French fries). Portions were generous and large. Cons - Unfortunately, despite how good the food looked, we all had a similar complaint - the food lacked flavor. My prime rib was a tad on the too rare side so it was placed under the broiler for just a bit but returned too cooked (very little pink). Big slice of meat served with au just and horseradish, but still no flavor. Kiddo said yhe fried chicken was hot and crispy, but the meat was dry. Don't know what happened, and so sad to rate it this way. Cream of spinach soup was good, especially with the warm bread but that's about it.

Fast food for on the go at the golf course

Bar area was a little run down as well as the club house but was a chill golf course. Food takes a while and prices were ok to be honest.

Mmm. We were recommended that this is the best restaurant in town. Not sure that's true but it was quite good. Had lunch today (6 May 21) and enjoyed the old comfortable restaurant. Very 60s-ish inside and really needs updating of decor. Despite the oldness of the place, the service was great as was the food. Other than canned refried beans with my wife's carnitas, everything was excellent. I had pot roast which was great. $25 for two good sized meals! Give this place a try. I'm glad we did.

A successful return to delicious inside dining! If you didn't know already Sharp Park Restaurant at the golf course in Pacifica is open again for inside dining. Their first day was last weekend on April 11th 2021. Sheila provided excellent service. The kitchen provided breakfast plate perfection. Mother Nature provided a beautifully sunny day with just a bit of fog out away from the coastal course. The plate was a basic Two Eggs Sunnyside Up, Hash Browns, Bacon soft, and Rye toast. Along with some Earl Grey Tea and water. Maybe not exactly healthy for the body. But it sure was soul satisfying. Tables were all clean. So were the dishes and silver. Masks were on. Social distancing provided. Sanitizer was available. The open window next to the table made for a pleasurable light breeze on this warm, by Pacifica standards, day. Free WiFi for easy connected internet. Good price for breakfast in the area since it was only $14.2o before the tip. Billion dollar view with a warm crew too. A great way to have some afternoon breakfast on a lazy Sunday. I totally recommend Sharp Park Restaurant for a weekend breakfast or lunch. Yes , the bar is open too!

If they're busy, they might forget to call your name and you'll need to go get the food yourself, which is frankly impossible to fathom when you come from San Francisco. But Pacifica is different, y'know?   Anyway.  ------------------------------ First, the turkey sandwich. 5/5 I'm guilty of expecting the meat to be the focus on a sandwich, but in this case the turkey was the filler, which, as a carnivore, is there a better meat filler? Bread, dijon, lettuce, turkey, queso. The dijon did for flavor what the lettuce did for texture, throwing in a twang that kept the sandwich interesting. Its creaminess tag-teamed with the cheese to keep the sandwich in one piece. Great sidekicks. The turkey was... Nothing special. Clean but mundane, for the star of the show was the bread.    Some of you might roll your eyes.  No shiet, Sherlock.  THIS. IS.  A bakery.   Cuz some of you might roll your eyes.  It's just bread.    But this isn't wonder-bread. It's dense. It's got a chew.   The sourdough is minimally sour, hearty, with a thick, hard crust, and made matrimony with the turkey. A lil bit of salt, the slightest tang, tango-ing into a single texture. Those of us who've had an egg sando in Japan understand how the softness of the egg salad made the softness of the bread fundamental. The turkey here wasn't slipping anywhere, though it complimented the meatiness of the bread. This, sandwich, needs, teeth.    I hope you weren't expecting to eat turkey without teeth. Perhaps that's tofurkey you're thinking about.   The crust was hard too. A well supported, almost crunchy hardness, and a far cry from the st-ale pork rind that the free bread in Mont-real would remind you of. I ended up turning the sandwich sideway as if I was enjoying a taco.   The best panera you'll get and a supreme sleeper.   ------------------------------ The second sandwich: 4/5 The sesame studded hoagie, on the other hand, was nothing short of Guns N' Roses. This sub had a KISS of intensity from the seared meats, a KISS of spice from the mayo and capocollo, a KISS of sharpness from the provolone, and a single leaf of romaine to give that little crunch and freshness, so you can tell your mom that you ate your veggies. There's going to be a rock concert in your mouth. With each element in a bit to prove their existence, it ended up being too intense for us. With these all being strong flavors, it's amazing that you could still taste everything. And they work well together. It's just that your taste buds will send an SOS, walking out of a Black Sabbath concert feeling a bit drained, like Spongebob breaking down after working the tables at Squidward's five star restaurant. The crustiness of the roll, the studded texture of the sesame, the meat escarpment slipping out, you will have no more desire for thee. Water. Something to cleanse the mouth.   If you're one of those among us who gets sweet emotions eating curry without naan or rice, this could be your bad medicine.   * Keep it simple, stupid.

Reviews of each: Blue corn cookie - subtle sweetness, great grainy texture that I really enjoy. Very light almost like the essence of a Madeline cookie. Chocolate croissant - I would pass on this next time, it's very light and it's got good air pockets but chocolate is definitely lacking. It's not as dense compared to some other popular SF bakeries if that's the texture you're looking for. Kouigan amann - my favorite one. Crispy, sweet, with I think a pistachio pastry cream in the middle. Will try coffee next time. Overall prices are pretty competitive and up there but in this economy it's understandable.

The Lapu Lapu is a sweet and refreshing drink, definitely something you will like if you want something sweet instead of strong. The Mochiko Chicken Loco Moco was really good. You get the taste of Beef Loco Moco in chicken form. The Chicken also added more of a crunchy texture from the crispy skin while having very moist meat. The Kamehameha BBQ Chicken was also tasty, with the moist meat. The Sisig Fried Rice was really good, being moist and had plenty of Sisig. The Poke Nachos had a decent amount of Poke and Avacado, and had a nice crunch with the Wanton Chips. The Ubemisu was a crowd favorite. I thought it was not going to taste like Ube because of the light color of the Cream, but I was glad to be wrong. It was very moist and thankfully had good Ube flavor. The Ube Bars were not bad. Also, could taste the Ube, but was more dense and just found the Ubemisu better. Overall, great food and service. Definitely would come back here again to try more delicious treats.

I remember coming here in the storm one day, in 2015, when I was on my bike, locking my bike outside and having hot cocoa & a glass of water, with the wind & rain pounding against the glass. It was such a magical experience, that I decided this would be in my all-time top three cafes in Pacifica. Thank you for staying in business as long as I can remember & providing an authentic Cafe experience in Pacifica! You rock, Chit Chat Cafe! (Gaah I need to take pictures when I write these reviews. Will update upon next visit!)

Oof. Baristas still play music way too loudly…read more And some of them still need some customer service skills. Why am I getting grief for a mistake she makes?
