smash burger w/lettuce & tomato, side 'o fries & mandarin jarritos.
Chris C.

A homey, cozy burger shack that runs alongside Highway 1 in a sleepy seaside town that offers choices of regular, smash and some specialty burgers. the smash burger's charbroiled perfectly and I opted to add lettuce and tomato for some fresh elements though I wish the buns were toasted for some texture. the salt level on the fries were good and arrived crispy. I'll have to come back and try the Peruvian and maybe even those cut up dogs on fries, as well. they offer some beers, including IPAs and Jarritos (mandarin flavored). plenty of parking around the area.

Delicious burger, made to my request of medium rare. I got the Peruvian burger. I forgot to take a "before" picture. I will go there again and again. They also have Mexican bottle cokes and a good selection of beers in can/bottle. Good people behind the counter, too.

Smash Burger and Fries.

No frills, straight forward smash burger and fries for $15. Grilled onions, American cheese & pickles. The fries could have used another minute in the fryer but im rating the burger. Bigger than most smash burgers ive had. I will come back.

Smash burger x 2, sweet potato fries, onion rings and chicken sandwich

Second time... the smash burger was just as good as last time! I will probably try the Peruvian burger next time but wondered how spicy it would be.

Smash burger with lettuce, tomato, and egg

I had two smash burgers. One with tomato, lettuce, and egg ... and the other with tomato, lettuce, bacon, and mushroom. I preferred the bacon mushroom one. Both were well seasoned and tasted good, with nice textures. They were also so juicy that I had to eat them fast since the bread was getting soaked underneath from all of the juice. I enjoyed the fries which were crispy outside and soft inside I would have rathered a different type of bread since I don't care much for potato bread. That kind is a bit sweet but that's just me. Service was friendly and nice. Ambiance was relaxed and comfortable.

Super excited to see a locally owned burger joint pop up in town. Let the pictures speak for themselves! Great location, tasty burger. Fries are perfect crisp on outside and soft on the inside. Ambiance is cozy. You order at the counter and seat yourself, food is then brought out. Simple and good - a must visit for anyone with that burger and fries craving! Go now!!!

One thing I really loved was how easy it was to make a reservation online. Being able to choose your exact table and preview the view ahead of time was such a cool feature and made it easy to pick the perfect spot for a special dinner. The service was amazing from start to finish. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer with grilled baguette, mascarpone, onion, and capers, which was delicious. For my entrée, I had the Dungeness crab cakes with fall vegetables, mashed potatoes, marinated fennel, petite frisée, and caper aioli, and it was incredible. My partner got the lobster mac & cheese, which was rich, flavorful, and definitely did not disappoint. Between the great food, drinks, attentive service, and unbeatable view, it made for such a memorable birthday dinner. I'll definitely be coming back.

The food was good overall -- delicious, but nothing particularly extraordinary. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the mixed vegetables, which were soggy and had an overpowering Italian herb flavor. On the other hand, the wasabi marinara served with the oysters was surprisingly delicious. I never would've thought wasabi and oysters would pair so well together! Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back again, this time with the whole family.

If you're looking for a spot in Pacifica with a view that actually makes you forget--if only for a…read moresecond--how much you're spending, Nick's Seafood is the place. I came here for a special birthday meal, and while the bill at the end gave me little heart palpitations, the overall experience was great although I would have appreciated a birthday nod like free dessert or a something. I felt bad about the lack of bday recognition but you live and learn. The vibe here is interesting--it's a bit of a "tale of two rooms." The bar area is dark, moody, and has that classic lounge feel, while the dining side is bright, bustling, and alive with conversation. But let's be honest: you're here for the view. Looking out at the ocean is truly breathtaking and adds a layer of magic to the meal. We started with the prawns appetizer which was a solid setup for the main event. We loved the tangy tartar sauce that paired well with the fried prawn and did not make us feel bloated or greasy. The Crab Sandwich is the star of the show. At first glance, it's a simple "no-frills" situation--just a massive pile of fresh crab and mayo on bread but it is definitely a winner. Theres a reason why the prices don't stop these baby's from flying out of the kitchen faster than the boy's can serve them. Our server, Armando, mentioned that the sandwich is big enough to share. However, since it was a birthday, I figured we deserved our own! It is absolutely huge. I added avocado to mine, but fair warning: it was nearly a $4 upcharge, which felt a little steep. Speaking of the service, Armando was a gracious host and an even better server. Even though we were there close to closing time, the staff remained incredibly attentive. We never felt rushed, and the service stayed top-tier until the end. Now here's my take, for two people (sandwiches, avocado, prawns, and $4 sodas--not sure if refills are free!), the total came to $144 before tax. It is definitely an investment. Between the "market price" crab and the premium add-ons, the costs add up fast. I won't be a weekly regular at these prices, but for a special occasion where you want great service, delicious seafood, and a world-class view, I highly recommend it. I can't wait to come back for the next big celebration!

I got your most basic sausage and cheddar omelette and it did not disappoint! Ample cheese, ample sausage! Toast was great, but very buttery, so beware if you don't eat butter. Friends wanted to sub their sides for biscuits and gravy, and server said she would ask. Any alterations we wanted (extra hollandaise sauce, no bell peppers, etc.) we asked for, our server was kind and showed no annoyance at all, which was greatly appreciated. Coffees are great, drinks are great, and pricing is decent. Went in on a Sunday, got seated in the lounge immediately for a group of 5. I'll be back here for sure if I'm ever in the area!

Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. My partner ordered the veggie burger, which came loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and ketchup. It had a nice charred flavor that he really enjoyed. To finish the meal, we got a root beer float, and it was honestly the perfect ending, refreshing and delicious. Mistakes happen, I get it- but how it's handled really leaves a lasting impression. I didn't notice the mistake until getting home because there were several items, and the first response I got when calling about it was "didn't you order a chicken sandwich? oh you didn't? Let me check the price difference (there wasn't any)." No sincere apology or empathy around having to come back and then eating a meal separate from my family. I also sensed a bit of snarkiness, which was a slap in the face since I tipped a bit during my original pickup. I do credit Beep for making me the fish sandwich upon my return, but the body language and tone was quite upsetting. And yes, I had to bring back the sandwich that my family took a bite of. Triple check your orders before you leave. The food is good, but I won't be back anytime soon.
