Let me start by saying that I am in my 30's and I was horrified of needles. Like, I would faint…read morewhen I heard the word needle. This fear kept me from trying acupuncture for many years. Then I met Lauren! She talked me through the process, and I decided to give it a try. I went in for my first session (with my eyes closed tightly the entire time) and guess what? I barely felt anything, and I didn't faint! I actually fell asleep, which was wonderful because one of the things I was being treated for was sleeping problems.
