I was a client at this med spa many years back . I would come in for Botox and chemical peels . On one occasion I took a friend of mine with me I was to get spiders veins on my nose take off with laser and my friend similar but his on his face. Dr Sneed performed the laser procedure on my nose . He burned so intense that it left me with craters on sides of my nose . When I went back for follow and and expressed my concerns I was told it would go away within time. Years laters they are still there. They Never went away. My roommate made him stop his procedure. I should have done the same. So that how I ended up with craters in both sides of my nose with what I started and these craters caused by burning to much to deep. read more

I used to LOVE this place and recommended it to everyone. They always had great specials and they used to have a great injector. Not anymore. They had a change in ownership several months ago, and it is now totally different. Their awesome injector is gone, and their prices are a joke. They also will no longer let you bank units bought on special for more than a few months. But they also don't even really have specials anymore. Aesthetica currently has Botox priced at $12.80/unit injected by someone without even a nursing degree, or you could go to Westlake dermatology which has Botox at $12/unit injected by a board certified physician. Again, a joke. Still, although my favorite injector is gone, I thought I'd go back to give them a chance because I had banked units I was concerned they would cancel. I got exactly the same number of units as I always do, and I interchangeably use Botox and Dysport with the same result. What used to last me 4-5 months, lasted about 1.5. They told me to come in to see what was wrong, and told me that my body must no longer react as well to the toxin, Dysport specifically. I realize this can happen, but there is no way I'd go from 4-5 months to lasting only 1.5. It would gradually become less effective. Her solution? I needed to spend several hundred more dollars to get Botox, less than two months after I had it done. The new injector is either terrible or using diluted product or both. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I got Botox for hyperhidrosis (which if anyone suffers from this knows my pain); it's not covered by insurance, it's very costly but has proven to be affective treating overactive sweat glands. I've battled this almost 20 years. Finally, I had the opportunity to go through with the process which is costly and scary. Christina is one of the most comforting, listening, caring, knowledgeable and just down right friendly people I've ever met. DO NOT go to CHRISTINA .......I did fillers with Dr. Sneed before back in 2014 and had wonderful results. However my latest experience is nothing short of a nightmare. ...Christina did a great job on my Botox, however she did something weird with my filler for my cheeks. She placed a heavy filler designed for cheeks under my eye on one side of my face. The cheek filler under my eye left a bump . I went back a week later she tried to move the filler by pushing the filler from underneath my eye to my cheeks. It was very painful and the next day my face started to swell.... Christina ruin my face forever..She put heavy filler under my eye and I have a lump. I had fillers in the past other side of my face, therefore I'm not allergic to fillers. They put me on antibiotics, however no offer for any compensation for the major mistake Christina made placing the cheek fillers under my ey Since then it gotten worse and infected.....Prayers this experience doesn't leave me blind or deformed... After a year I still have a lump under my eye. I was told the filler would go away after a year. However I'm still dealing with the lump. I called to book an appointment to remove it and use my credit they promised. They refused to give my credit as promised unless I removed the yelp review. I didn't want to look like someone else. I didn't want to change my features or my face. I have had very asymmetrical lips, much thinner on one side on the top, my entire life. I have always wanted that corrected, but was terrified they would be too big or look unnatural. It was my first visit today to Aesthetica MedSpa and Im glad I decided to make an appointment. Christina was easy to talk to and listened to all of my skin concerns. A close friend spoke highly of her so I thought I'd give her a shot. I'm happy so far and will keep this review updated if anything changes. Another positive is that they run promotions that change monthly and on Yelp you can check in and receive a free chemical peel with any other purchase. This is a great way for clients to test our services which should result in repeat business. The only small thing I have a pet peeve about that occurred is that I wasn't seen at my appointment time. I had to wait an extra fifteen minutes before being put in a room. I understand sometimes people run late but as a first time customer I would have liked to be treated more promptly instead of waiting on my appointment because of other clients running late and being seen first. The bright side from this is that it seemed like all of the customers leaving sounded happy with their treatments. I look forward to seeing Christina and the staff again. read more

I had called a month ago to make an appointment for her and spoke to someone who took all my information, even confirmed they were able to do prp facial and hair restoration on the same day, and even explained how to find the office. I've spent thousands of dollars here. If it wasn't for Christina's rude attitude and unprofessionalism, I would still be coming back here. On the other hand, I'm glad she treated me wrong and botched me because I found someone far more better, cheaper, and way more experienced. When you confront Christina with anything that she does wrong she will play the blame game and put it on you. I started to investigate her credibility after I had a few botched injections. She doesn't even have much certifications for someone whose been in the industry for over 17 years. Save your money and go else where. She's more of a sales woman than a aesthetician. What prompted this review was that I had come in for filler during a Filler Friday and Botox special you guys were having. The receptionist told me it was going to be 349 instead of 449. Even the flyers had said 349. When I was waiting in the chair Christina said there was a mistake on the flyers and the receptionist was wrong. She told me they were going to have to honor that and she had walked out of the room. She then came back and then said I would have to pay the regular price after she told me she was going to honor it. I was a bit humiliated and offended because I go there every few months so why would she even do that in the first place. I would also like to add to this review that I ended up asking for Dysport during that same visit. For some reason I am allergic to Botox, so I always opt for Dysport. I didn't mind paying extra at the time if it would save me a trip to the hospital (I've had this happen to me before). Christina looked at me with an attitude when I told her I didn't want Botox even though there was a special going on. This is the most disturbing part that really pissed me off. So after everything was said and done and I got my injections I started having an allergic reaction about a day after. Couldn't breath, lots of anxiety, uncontrollable muscle spasms. I then noticed that my forehead was more stiff than usual. With Dysport I have some movement to my forehead, but with Botox I can't move it at all. So then it made sense. I paid extra for Dysport and Christina ended up knowingly gave me Botox and she thought I wasn't going to realize it. Super sneaky of her. I never told her my allergy to Botox, so I caught her red handed. The way that you practice here is so unprofessional and Christina is knowingly taking advantage of people here and charging them more than what they should be charged for. If you look online for wholesale fillers and Botox, I can see how much you guys really pay for your stuff so why even have an attitude for just honoring the price at 349. You're not losing anything. On top of this, I ended up getting an infection in my lips and Christina blamed it on a Herpes simplex break out, cause that's what it looked like. Well that definitely was not the case. My lips had puss and blood coming out of them. I had even went to a different injector and they told me that it was infected. I am super upset at the way I was treated here especially because I come here around every 3 months and spend over 500 bucks every visit. I will definitely not be coming back here again considering the way that you think you can pull one over me. And P.S: Thanks for getting my review removed from Google. My experience with Erica Ponce was absolutely amazing!! . Everything she said would happen in the days to come following my service completely did. She said the pain would be minimal and that she's an expert at "being gentle" this was completely true: I found myself saying "are you done with that section I didn't feel anything!? Even though I have already posted a review, I need to add an update! I have been wanting to get my lips done for several months now after seeing an unflattering picture of my lips when I smile. My experience was amazing at Aesthetica MedSpa! I got my very first Hydrafacial with Nicole and couldn't have been more pleased. The environment was clean, relaxing, and fun. Nicole was/is knowledgeable and will walk you through what is being done to your face, if you'd like to know. I asked a million questions and she could answer all of them. She isn't rough on your face and gives your skin all the love it needs to be youthful and smooth. I'm lucky in that I don't have major skin issues but lately my face has been DRY, and not as smooth as I want it. After the facial was done I could already see a huge difference, I was slightly red and within a couple hours the redness faded and my fresh skin shined! First-time client of Aesthetica (I recently moved to Austin), I came for a little Botox (something I've done at other med spas for years). I was greeted, signed paperwork and led to a treatment room. I proceeded to sit alone in the treatment room for 55 minutes, listening to soul-sucking pop songs. I've had enough Botox treatments by now to know that I should be in and out in under 15 minutes... But as I sat there, no one checked on me, offered me a bottle of water, or explained why the person doing my injections was running so behind. Hence why this review is so low -- appallingly poor customer service (that could've easily been addressed by receptionists) and wasting my time on a work day. I eventually popped my head out to see if they simply forgot about me. A receptionist sheepishly explained that they were behind schedule (which was rather obvious at that point). Christina finally came in and did my injections. She was nice and professional. She then encouraged me to write a review... which had me like, "Really?!?!" as if they didn't have me sitting around for an hour. But alas, here I am with my 2-star review. I was hoping to have a discussion about getting Volumna and/or Euro threading, but Christina sent me on my way, and at that point I knew I was never going to go back to Aesthetica -- I'd much rather pay a place with much better customer service for all my future treatments. read more
