My friends and I went in for a quick manicure. The place wasn't busy but they still had me get my manicure in the pedicure chair which is horribly awkward and uncomfortable. The paint job was not done well but the woman was nice so I did not complain while I was there. The eyebrow wax was cheap so I decided to go for it. WORST wax experience I've ever had. The woman (not the same one who did my nails) tried to tell me she needed to reshape them and I insisted that she not shape, just wax. I'm not sure what they use there but it certainly didn't feel like she did much. She didn't - not of the hair had been removed. She really did an awful job and was not that pleasant. I recently went to this salon on April 22, 2017. I called and was able to fit in my whole party of 11 women. The place was fabulous, clean and everyone was so accommodating for my party. I had the regular pedicure and I have to say it was amazing. The massage was long and they use hot stones. I felt so relaxed and love my nail color also. I will be coming back here again. read more

Always loved Sharon's nails until today. Arrived for my 11am appointment and they were very busy. The woman who arrived after me seemed to know the employees and said she did not have an appointment. I was put in a pedicure chair and she was also. They began working on her immediately. At 11:25 when the water surrounding my feet had turned cold, I left. This is a GREAT nail salon! I had a wonderful manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was amazing, they took their time with the massages and making sure I was comfortable. They also included a great hot oil treatment on the heels. The manicure was equally great and the service was incredible. I've been looking for a salon where they treat you like a person instead of rushing you out and this is the place. Everything is new and clean and the prices are reasonable. I have been going to Sharon Nails for as long as it has been open. I personally was afraid to post a review because it is already so busy there. By far the best nail salon around. Best pedicure. I mean the massages are fantastic. Gel nails are always perfect. You can walk in during the week but, I suggest an appointment on weekends especially in the summer. My experience has gone from great to bad. They have had a noticeable amount of staff turnover and some of the new staff are miserable and it shows in their work. The most disturbing thing recently is the choice of music. They have opted to play rap music, which is extremely vulgar and offensive. Hands down the WORST nail salon in Jersey Shore. Never have I met such disgustingly rude workers. Over priced $50 for normal full set acrylics when website CLEARLY says $25 I went to a competing salon and was only $28 which is much more reasonable than $50 not to mention I arrived at 6:30 but the closing time CLAIMS to be 7:30 a man came out of a car and told me "you should've called we closed" when I had called an hour prior to my arrival I do not recommend this salon to anyone. Run when you see this place. I went back the next morning calling once again and was greeted at the door rudely. The man didn't say word just started to point at things there was NO nail polishes in sight she made me sit down and she started working on the full set didn't ask me a thing! If I wanted white tip she wouldn't have known. These workers have problems with there mouths, they never say a word until I questioned how much the full set was and she looked at me cross eyed and told me the price she threw my hands back at me and told me I needed the right amount or to leave. Only two women work there I don't know who in the world raised these rude people but Sharon needs new, kind workers in the salon until then I will not return to this horrid place if I could give it NO STARS I WOULD MORE THAN GLADLY DO SO. read more

Just stopped by here for an LCN fill. They wanted to charge me $60. I've been having LCN done for over 10 years and never pay over $40. She tried to tell me that what I had was not LCN. This place is one of the better nail salons in the area. I come here often. Having said that, the service you get depends on the technician and it costs quite a bit more than other places. I have had great mani/pedis with some ladies, while I dread getting stuck with the ones I know do a sloppy and subpar job. Gel manicure on July 12, 2017 was terrible. Manicurist got annoyed when I asked her to use an emery board to sand the nails for removal of old polish versus the "sander". When she was applying second coat of polish I asked her if she could do the tips and she responded that is done during the first coat only, which she didn't do. Throughout half of my gel manicure she and her co-worker carried on a conversation in a different language. Thumb chipped before the end of the first day. Second nail chipped on the 5th day. Paid $35. My $25 gel manicures at home last me 3 weeks and sometime longer - without a chip! read more

Very clean place & sanitized tools which is #1 in importance to me. I went with a friend and we were both very happy. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it would have to be off the charts amazing for 5. I don't remember how many different products they rubbed and/or massaged on our feet and on our legs, but it seemed like a lot and a great value ($30) especially for a regular pedicure. They put our heels in wax which was an unexpected bonus! I can't imagine what else they could do for the spa version. Our feet & nails look great and polish has lasted (it's been 10 days). Always on the hunt for a good manicure and pedicure, especially at the Jersey Shore. This is the nicest nail salon I have walked into in the area. While the pedicure is not cheap they do a great job. Great, lengthy massage which also included a hot stone massage and a paraffin treatment on the heels. Comfortable chairs, pleasant setting and disposable liners in the pedicure chairs which I haven't seen before. While on the pricier side, the pedicure did last for quite a few weeks. One improvement needed is better dryers - another customer and I were wondering if it was even on. read more

Been going to this place from the day they opened. I even convinced four friends to leave their old nail salon and go to Sharon's. It's sad to say, they no longer go to Sharon's and I too will no longer be the committed customer they once had. Love the fact that they take measures to be sanitary at the pedicure stations and lengthy massages but don't be fooled! The quality of the customer service and of the disposable tools do not warrant the prices they charge. Every two weeks I pay $80-100 (+tip) for a pedi and gel mani. I expect that cuticles are trimmed, paint is evenly applied and my feet aren't rough afterwards. I don't know what happened but this has been my experience for too long now. And these are the same reasons my friends decided to go back to their old salons. AND... The new partner Michelle (I think her name is)... What a horrible attitude she has. Just mean and nasty all the time. Very disrespectful to the workers and to some customers. Not even a thank you most of the time. And Jessica the nail tech is def not recommended! she is quick to get u out and quick unfinished nails is what u get (corners of nails never fully covered w polish and paint uneven)... What was once a place to go and worth spending more than other locals is now just an overpriced unfriendly nail salon. Such a shame! I called a couple days in advance to book a Saturday appointment in August for an acrylic refill. The salon was lovely - not your typical strip mall nail place. The service was attentive - made sure my purse didn't sit on the ground, set me up comfortably at the dryer, applied a quick dry coat after a few minutes at the dryer. I didn't get a pedicure but the chairs and set up looked great and they use those disposable tub liners if that is important to you. I thought the nail color selection was pretty extensive but would prefer a few funkier glitter options. My refill lasted as expected and I was pleased with the result. UPDATE: went back in Sept for a pedicure and new acrylic set. The pedicure was top notch - really well done and more extensive treatment (massage, heel treatment) that I've received elsewhere. I ended up getting a replacement of my acrylics (instead of just a refill). It was well done significantly more expensive that I have had elsewhere (the refill price was on par). It seems that had a greater selection of glitter polish this time. Very happy with the service, in spite of the sticker shock on the acrylic set. read more

Sharon's nails does a wonderful manicure and pedicure. They are also always very clean my nails are always even. However; I will never get my eyebrows or anything else for that matter waxed there ever again. The woman who waxed my eyebrows burnt my right eyelid pretty bad and also burnt my left eyelid as well. Since my eyebrows normally do get red after waxing, I did not think anything of it. However, when I returned home after also getting a manicure I became aware of the burnt red skin on my eyelids. I will never again get waxing at Sharon's nails. read more

BEST PEDICURE, WORST GELS. I'm torn because I've been going here for a little while and have had mixed experiences depending on the service received. First, they gave the best pedicure I've ever had by far. Really top notch as far as pedicures go. Long massage and even used hot stones (without paying extra for that). I've had manicures there several times and never had an issue until last week when I splurged for a gel manicure. After one day, two nails chipped. After a week another. I had three fixed yesterday at no charge thankfully, but about 2 hours later another nail (not one of the ones fixed) also chipped. I'm not going back for a fix a second time, it's inconvenient and I shouldn't even have to but I'm really unhappy about it. I've had regular manicures last longer then these gels. Not sure if it was girl who did them, or the brand they use. But I will never ever go back for gels again. Will certainly be back for the pedicures though! read more
