I had the worst experience at Estella Nails. I was completely rushed during my service and the quality was terrible. It was also a silent appointment where my nail tech didn't ask me a single question about what I preferred of my nails. My nails look like my four-year-old sister did them, though, even she could have done a better job. I shouldn't have to sit in my car after my appointment and pick off all the nail polish on my skin and around my nails where my nail tech was too lazy to file off. I am extremely unhappy and will not be returning. read more

I'm new to the area and was hoping to find a decent nail salon in my area. This isn't it. It's filthy. I didn't see one foot basin washed after someone used it. The cuticle clippers went back into a plastic bin for the next customer. She used an old, clearly used file on the bottom of my feet. My toe nails are cut/ filed crookedly. I asked that he not use that harsh nail file machine on my nails which he did anyway. He broke one of my nails while clipping it. Crooked filing and terrible polish application that's so sloppy around the edges and full of air bubbles. I'm actually hoping the polish doesn't last long. It looks terrible. read more

I went here several years ago and today made me remember why I stopped going here. I went in with strong nails and left with paper thin fingernails because the gentleman drilled my nails to get gel off instead of using the proper technique with acetone and aluminum foil. Told me he couldn't do gel on my nails because they were too thin. Did Dazzle Dry instead and he only painted 1 singular coat; so messy a 5 year old could've done it better. The pedicure is the reason I came here. Usually the pedicure is wonderful but today I left with every toe nail a different shape and bubbling polish. I got my gel manicure 2 weeks ago at Estellas and was very disappointed. They were so weak, even with the gel. Two broke backwards and 1 chipped. The next day I called Perry, manager, and left 3 messages that were ignored. I finally went in and explained that I was unhappy with the girl who did my nails, and that his wife, Cindy, always did a great job. He said business was really bad and good help was hard to find, and refunded me. Today is my birthday and my friend gave me a gift card. Perry was my requested manucurist. I had never gone to him but assumed he was good. When I went to pay, I thought the gift card was for 30.00 but it was for 50.00. I left Perry 5.00 and said, " Ill see you again". And he said, "Not with THAT!". I asked what he meant and he said, "come outside". He told me a 5.00 tip was disrespectful and he works hard for his money and most of his customers leave at least 10.00. I couldn't believe my ears. I told him I work hard for my money too and I wasted a tip on a girl 2 weeks ago who did a crap job! I got a mani pedi here, my first since COVID and I had a great experience. It was my first time at Estella Nails. I am a regular customer here and I usually get a pedicure and gel polish and it costs $40. That's a great price for what I got. Then if I got just a gel manicure it is $25. Today I went in and got tips put on and the owner had the nerve to ask for $85!!!! Never in my life have I heard of tips being $85!!! He then said since I go there a lot he will charge me $65! That's still absurd!!!! I regret even saying I'll pay that. You would think the polish was made out of gold. They don't use real gel they use opi or Essie gel polish that you can get at the drug store for a little over $10. I will NEVER go here again. read more

So incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL! I called prior to coming into the nail salon to make sure they had availability to accommodate a gel mani and pedi. The man who answered the phone confirmed and said to come right over. I was there in ten minutes and he asked me to pick my gel color while I waited a few minutes. Everything was great until I sat in the chair and he began my gel mani service. He filed one nail then abruptly got up to attend the cash register. Came back to file another nail and not even paying attention to the filing, began to do other things like answering the phone, barking orders at the other workers, etc. this goes on for maybe 15 minutes. After some messy filing, without working on my cuticles, no nail clean-up whatsoever, no hand washing, no nail or hand prep, he starts polishing my nails...that's when I stopped him and asked when he was going to actually manicure my nails. Then he put his tools down and said, we don't do that here- that is a different manicure. My jaw just dropped and I was speechless. He then proceeded to say that he cannot continue my service and asked me to leave!!! I can't believe that I called before hand, drove to the salon, was seated and then kicked out...what a waste of my time! Meanwhile, a nicer technician was offering to take over my manicure and he told her NO! I don't know what kind of business this man is running but he is ridiculously rude and in over his head. Don't make my mistake and even bother to go here. There are other better nail salons in the area, I.e Eden salon. This place should be SHUT DOWN! read more

$30 for a pedi is on the high side, it's usually worth it here. I've been here many times and usually the foot massage is to die for, this is a new gilr and her massage is focused to much on the top of my feet not the bottom where all the stress is. Very light touch like she's not really Wanting to touch feet. Hope the hot stone part goes better. Ok after filing my toenails, a scrub and limp weak hot stone massage she's painting my toes (clear my request). No callus removal at all. Worse pedi ever. Maybe the pedi gods are Against me for the poor review I wrote another salon....my feet hurt I was really looking forward to a good massage and at least pumice on my heels! Owner should really make sure staff is trained to provide the same service the same way. This is a great salon normally although not taking Credit cards and then charging you a few to use their atm is kinda cheap. I am actually off to another salon for hopefully a decent pedicure with some sort of pumice or callus removal. I wish I had the nerve to complain to the owner when I was there. Staff was friendly and courteous but not over bearing, nice atmosphere. I prefer a spa like setting and when it gets filled up it gets a little loud but whatever, I can deal. I got. The best pedicure I have ever had. Very friendly staff. It started with an excellent foot and calf massage while using an exfoliation scrub, followed by a warm lotion massage, followed by a hot stone massage. I have never felt more relaxed. I did not ask for anything special this was their regular pedicure process. I've been to other salons in the area where I feel rushed and not able to relax. I've been pedicure hopping all over the area for the past year, seeking to find the best one. After reading the few glowing reviews on Yelp, I decided to try Nails Estella. I can tell you it was the best $30 I have spent! Inside is a modern nail salon, clean and cheerful. I was greeted cheerfully and after selecting my color was installed in a massage pedicure chair (very comfortable) and offered a glass of iced coffee (in a real glass). The pedicure was immaculate and the foot and lower leg massage had me closing my eyes and just savoring the moment. And then my feet were massaged with a warm stone...pure bliss. I really appreciated that I was allowed to remain in the massage chair as my toenails dried, and that Joyce (my manicurist) checked on them until she deemed me ready to go. Love this nail salon. Very clean and sanitary! Pedicure includes great scrub and hot stone massage. I have been using Perry for my gel manicures for a while now. He takes his time and the gel manicure lasts 2 weeks which is great because I am rough on my hands. Cindy is also great for gel manicures. Clean and friendly - with very fair pricing! The pedicure is great - sugar scrub, lotion, hot stone, massage. Manicure is good, too (I cannot speak for gel since I do not get these). Went to Nails Estella last week based on the Yelp reviews i read. Pedicure was awesome, complete with a wonderful lower leg massage that lasted much longer than I expected, first with exfoliating scrub and then with moisturizing lotion and hot stones -- HEAVEN! The ambiance is not really high end, but it was fine - clean, well lit, plenty of magazines at your fingertips at the pedicure stations and comfy chairs. Reasonably priced considering the wonderful extras i got. I had one tiny issue, the quick dry top coat clouded up when it dried and made some white streaks on my polish. I stopped in the next day, the owner apologized profusely and then had one of the manicurists take me right in and repaint them all - i have no complaints about that, things happen and they made it right immediately. My only issue is the parking, there are only a few spots behind the building, and if they are all filled you're kind of stuck trying to squeeze in somewhere, that was a bit of a hassle, hence the 4 stars. But beyond that I was very satisfied and plan to go back often. Recommend, but get there a little early to be sure you can park. read more

After reading all the other reviews, I am feeling very confused about my pedicure experience. Perhaps a new owner just took over. I did not feel that the utensils nor the foot basins were sterile. In fact, my practitioner was about to start scraping my feet with an instrument that looked like a cheese grater when I fortunately looked up from my magazine. I asked how often it was cleaned, she said every day, when I asked if it was not sterilized between each use, she changed her answer; however, I already noticed leftover dead skin from a previous client and therefore declined being scraped. My polish job lasted less than a week before a large chip on my big toe. Grossly overpriced for them to not be using sterile instruments on each client. Thoroughly disappointed and will not be going back. Oh, and I was not advised that the credit card machine wasn't working until after my appointment. read more
