I'm surprised I haven't written a review of this place, as I have been coming here consistently for years and my hair has always been in good hands. Even when I don't want a huge change in style, but looking for something slightly different, my hairdresser - Cheryl - always know just what to do to style it for a little extra something without going overboard. It's also so great that she really listens to what I want and is always spot on with her execution. And she's very familiar with the way my hair reacts and behaves, so she's very in tune to what needs to be done. Aside from the hair care, I always love what a welcoming environment this salon is; the staff is always so good and friendly with their clients like the local hangout. I feel as though a lot of salons do miss this aspect. Also appreciated is the fact that there's always a plethora of current magazines. It's also right across the street from The Grove and Bagelmasters, so I can get a fabulous bagel and shop afterwards, so I make a little day out of it. read more

Fit me in at 8am (morning wedding), Cheryl did an excellent job, and it held up through 8 hours of sweat and humidity! Went in for cut and blowout today with Cheryl. I've never been to a salon where the stylist takes time to make sure you're getting what you ask for. Cheryl truly cares about her customers and makes sure if anything is not up to par that it gets fixed immediately! Staff is very personable and friendly. My grandma set up pedicures for my mom and me. She's known Maureen for a long time and I've had my hair cut here as well. They have great massage chairs and many colors available from various brands. The atmosphere is friendly, down-to-earth, and relaxed. Perfect for a day of indulgence. My mom had never had a pedicure before and was very pleased, too. Highly recommend! read more

Cute salon with a laid back atmosphere. I went to Cheryl and she did an amazing job. Absolutely love my hair! This would have been a five star review; however my experience with the receptionist was not pleasant. She was very nice to me when she washed my hair, but I found her to be extremely rude and condescending. When I went to pay, I asked if she could make change for a 20 so I could tip my stylist. She looked up at me and scoffed. That instantly took away from what I had thought was a great experience. read more

I've been here twice for a haircut. Both times, I received exactly what I was looking for in a cut. The stylists weren't scissor happy, and they knew how to shape my hair. However, they need to invest in a product for long curly hair. Argan oil doesn't cut it, and scrunching my hair with mousse was fun...in the 80s. Next time I'll leave with a wet head and style it myself. On my last visit, it seemed everyone (but me) was getting their hair sprayed very liberally with hair spray. When I was paying, my eye hurt and I looked in the mirror and it was red and gloppy. Within 2 hours I was at the eye doctor having it cleaned out. This has never happened to me before. Please, go easy on the hair spray! read more

I went to Linda for 45 years and the last time I went I was never told that they increased their prices by Linda or the receptionist. I complained online and the owner informed me that the prices went up and that she would refund me $5. I called last week and made an appointment with Linda and then the day before my appointment I received a call from the salon saying that there was a mistake in the book, so I don't have an appointment. I called and Linda answered and said that she was upset that I contacted the owner because I was overcharged $5 and Linda said I will send you $5 back to you. She then said she could not do my hair ever again!! I was appalled by her attitude since I never complained about her. She then said Goodbye and hung up. Very bad treatment from Linda and I never did receive any check this week. I wanted to talk to the boss but I don't know her phone number and didn't want to call the salon again.
