Nathan you are an Elite employee, very kind and helpful and you have an amazing attitude. Nathan has integrity! He assisted us and helped our Son locate a few items. He was so knowledgeable! We had an awful holiday shopping experience! My wife ordered 3 items to be given as gifts. She received a call from the store saying the order was ready but, upon arrival, discovered the bag was missing an item. After calling an offsite employee, the staff explained that the item was out of stock and a refund had already been issued but they wouldn't provide an email or receipt showing the refund. Days later, the refund still hadn't posted to our credit card so my wife called the store multiple times and was given the runaround (no one on-site knew anything and promised return calls never occurred). Only after we disputed the charge with Visa did we get an emailed screenshot claiming the refund was issued last week. The refund didn't show up on our account until more than a week after they claimed it occurred and, suspiciously, a few days after they learned we disputed the charge. Not only were we unexpectedly without a Christmas gift for my son, the service was awful! As loyal Sharks fans who've spent A LOT of money on fan gear over the past 30 years, this doesn't make us want to buy any more here. 2 stars only because the items we did get were fine. read more

This shop is the real deal. They have some of the most competitive deals on official San Jose Sharks merchandise, both online and in store. The store experience is perfect - everything is easy to find, and staff is friendly. I bought a jersey today from them and the sales clerk told me it was on sale when he rang me up at the register. Great store to go to if you're a San Jose Sharks fan, throughout my life I have gone to several Sharks game at the SAP center aka the sharks tank or where the sharks swim. To have your jersey stitched, it's $80 but that's not the downside, the downside is having to wait 3 weeks for it to be completed! I was astounded when I was told the wait time. This season is already short, I don't want to go 3 weeks w/o my jersey - unfortunately and sadly, I am going to wait till the season is almost over to do it. This is a very small store outside HP Pavilion but for a crazed fan that wants anything Sharks-related, it'll do. You'll see racks of baseball caps on your right as soon as you walk in. Next to the racks, on the floor will be basket full of baseball caps and beanies that are on sale. I really tried to make the baseball cap happen but my face and shape of my head just won't allow it. I noticed signed photographs, license plates, scarves, socks.. just about anything you can think of. Keychains and smaller trinkets are behind the counter. I bought a top that was on sale for $17.99. I was so thrilled that I fit an extra small. My normal size: small or extra small but I get giddy each time I get an extra small. I was about to buy another jersey despite the cost (nearly $300) but everything that I tried on looked like a nightgown for me. I can deal w/ a slightly loose fit but I am not trying to look like a hoodlum; extremely baggy wear. Blech. The good news is that the children's jersey is about $100-$130 cheaper and I fit it! I fit their small! They didn't have the jersey I want though. I already have the black one, I would like the white one. A jersey is like an investment for me so spending that amount of money, I better get what I want so I had to hold off on that purchase. A few toddler/infant wear, sweaters, sweatshirts, long-sleeve tops, and tank tops... I will make a stop here at least once a month to build my collection. My son LOVES sharks, and wants a shark hat. I didn't want to buy one online so I could make sure the fit was right. We planned a special trip on the train to pick up one at the Sharks store. Upon our arrival there was a sign in the door that it was closed all day due to a double header (open only to ticketed guests). I double checked their website and there was no mention of special hours on game day; just that they open at 19am Saturday. I tried calling at least 20 times over the next week during their listed hours to find out if there were other days with special hours and nobody picked up. Excellent selection of authentic Sharks merchandise! You'll find jerseys and shirts for Sharks players you won't find on NHL's official online store or in the mall. They carry a variety of sizes for women, kids, and sometimes even babies. You'll also find collectible bobbleheads, autographed pucks, car accessories, socks, and basically any Sharks gear you didn't know you wanted. They always have new merch coming in so you'll always come across something new. I can't resist Sharkie merch! Minus one star for overpricing most of their items. I knowingly overpaid $30 for a women's jersey here because they didn't carry a small size online. I bought a Sharks snuggie elsewhere before I noticed that they carried the same item at the Sharks store, which was overpriced by $15. Specializing in San Jose Sharks team apparel and merchandise I often go into the store just to browse. Their selection is better than any other walk-in store for Sharks logo items, but if it's not something you need right away you can definitely find most of the stuff on sale online for much less. Their jersey selection is very good and very up-to-date, and they have pre-made replicas of most of the players on the current roster. That's impressive and difficult to do during the preseason when one player can disappear from the active roster overnight. I prefer to have my jerseys hand stitched in Canada rather than heat pressed, but that's just how I am. Their pricing is strictly retail. Season ticket holders such as myself get fifteen percent off, but that's misleading too. I inquired about ordering a jersey once and found out that only the jersey gets discounted, not the lettering. The same applies for pre-personalized jerseys. The discount only applies to a blank jersey and you pay full price for the heat pressed names and numbers even though they're pre-made. Aside from that, there are things you can't get easily online such as media guides, team yearbooks, commemorative or player milestone pucks and playoffs merchandise. I'm thankful to the store for having plenty of that stuff alone. They have occasional sales on selected items also. A San Jose native needs to have their Sharks gear fresh at all times. That's why I love this place. At the beginning and end of the season they always have great sales. Yesterday Cristal C, Andrew L, and I copped some new gear for cheap. As always this place is sharks fan heaven. They have everything from your authentic jerseys to your sharks fan baby clothes, beanies, socks, shirts, and every single sharks hat. If you're a sharks fan, then you can never pass up stopping by here when you're in downtown. Their workers are always pretty friendly even when they have a huge rush from game nights. Be careful though, if you're plan is to stop by here on a game night, be ready to wait in line prior to even getting in! They have a solid plan to only allow the max number of people in the store, once they cap out you're stuck waiting in a long line till people leave. That wait can cause you to miss some of the game. With the San Jose Sharks being one of the most successful hockey team in recent years and having a hopeful playoffs expectations, obtaining regular-seasons tickets are extremely tough. And with the team currently in the quest for the Stanley Cup, getting tickets for the playoffs are definitely out of the question and not worth getting teased on by other spectators, who's already gotten the tickets. Well, I took that slim chance and asked the ticket vendor behind the booth. Since I was there and does it hurt to ask? Well, my answer wasn't a positive one. And since we also love the Sharks, we should've attended more games and get tickets and seating priority for the playoffs and beyond. I made that gambling decision and chose not to purchase those already steep season tickets. Since I couldn't get any playoff tickets, I did make a visit to the Shark's store, which is located underneath the HP Pavilion venue. They sell all kinds of Shark gear, accessories and other odds and ends, including the current playoff gear. If I couldn't obtain playoff tickets, I needed to get something big. I've alway wanted the pricey authentic jerseys worn by the players. They did have my favorite Shark player: Joe Thornton in a size 52 (XL). I paid $225.00 for his 5-star teal-color home jersey. After I've try on my newest jersey, I feel like the Shark's captain and wanted to be like him. My kids love the mascot: Sharkie and goaltender Evgeni Nabokov, because of his cool name: "Nabby" and short in nature size. They also his adult-size jersey and was my second-choice in jerseys, but they don't have many kid's item from the popular goaltender. For kid's tee, they have Defenseman Bryan Campbell and Matt Carle's at $15.00 each in which I bought along with the playoff puck for $7.50. Haven't been to a Sharks game in forever and a day, and the pops treated us to a game, and a jersey! We went into the Sharks Store as soon as we entered HP Pavilion, and there was already a line to get into the small store. The workers there were really helpful, and explaining the process of having a player's name and number stitched on or ironed on. All the jersies are blank, which is smart. I picked up one of the 2 women jersies they had, which they only had size small and XXL. Paid for it, and after the game, we dropped it off to tell them what we wanted to stitched on. It does take 3-4 weeks, and you do have to come back to pick it up. All in all, quick and easy process, although it does all add up quick! read more

Yikes. As a die-hard, I could just as well DIE when I come to this store sometimes. The best advice I can give in order to prevent fans (and wanna-bes alike) from having heart attacks from 1) lack of sizes, 2) lack of consistency with merchandise, 3) lack of informed staff (there are a select few staff members that understand the teams for which they sell merch and are actually pleasant to you), and 4) PRICE$? Here we go: 1) You've got to be medium-sized. Seriously. Or a child. If you're a petite woman, you might be able to fit into XL or XXL childrens' stuff. If you're a 6', 180 pound man, you might want to think about getting a medium-sized jersey tee rather than the large you're used to. Otherwise, when you return your stuff for a smaller size, chances are, it's already gone. Because, you know, a woman's probably gotten to it before you. 2) If you see something you like, and even more, something you like IN YOUR SIZE: BUY IT RIGHT AWAY! Chances are, you'll never see it again, unless you put in on hold, which is only 24 hours anyway. 3) I forget this girl's name, but I wish I knew. If you need help with anything, you should ask the shorter blonde lady with rectangular-framed (?) glasses. She is always so polite and helpful, and not to mention, knows things about the teams. 4) Everything is marked up, obviously. If you're a die-hard, buy season tickets and nab yourself a season-long ticket holder discount (which you can only use by showing your season pass BEFORE the transaction starts), or work at the Pavilion, and get an employee's discount. Boy, I wish those discounts worked at other Sharks merch places other than the Sharks store. read more

I get a discount because I own season tickets, which is a nice plus. The minuses are fairly typical of team stores... very cramped conditions and then it is usually overcrowded. The Sharks have a person that monitors the number of people that go in and out of the store to keep the overcrowding to a minimum, but I have missed up to 8 minutes of a period waiting to get in and out. Not really their fault, just sort of stating what can happen. Compared to other team stores (most notably the one at the Fleet Center in Boston), it doesn't have as much variety. They do carry Stealth (lacrosse team) apparel, too. read more

However, I do have my 15% off during the regular season so I'm fine with that discount too! I spend about $500 each visit and I know I need to slow down there! There's always a long line for the Sharks team store on game days but who could blame them? Despite this, the line is very well organized and regulated by workers. They make sure you do not cut. People sometimes don't know that the line is separated into two parts because they need to create a walkway for people to go to their seats. This is a good place to get your Sharks gear. There are definitely sales here often! As a bonus, you also get a discount if you are a season ticket holder. Just bring the pin! Luckily, my friend Jessica L. is a season ticket holder so I never get anything without her present with me. I wouldn't waste a discount ;) I believe it's a 15% discount, by the way. Also, if you forget your pin and you buy something, the cashiers will gladly adjust your receipt for you the next time you come. Isn't that great?! YES. The Sharks Store is great for buying uncommon items that you won't likely find anywhere else but ebay such as Sharks TV trays, pennants, pucks, dog bowls, and many other common stadium shop items. If you're looking for a t-shirt, jersey, or hat, you will make better use of your time and money to go to Winners, Lids, or other sports apparel stores in Valley Fair. Of special note: Sharks Store offers the worst selection of hats. They have a good amount of designs, but they are all obscene and ugly and they don't carry the best RBK designs. read more

My husband and I have been planning on getting our first jerseys for a while now and were very specific of what we were looking for. After going to the local mall's sports stores and couldnt find what we wanted, we ended up here unexpectedly. Unfortunately when we had arrived the store had just closed. One of the sales associates came outside and explained that the store was to re open in 45 minutes during the Barracuda game (which you needed a ticket to go inside the store). Shortly after we decided it was time to go home empty handed, the store manager came outside and told us that she would let us in the store while they were prepping for the game, (WHICH, IN MY OPINION, WAS SO NICE OF HER). Because we have all been to the store during a game it is CHAOTIC. So being the only customers in the store shopping was a pleasant experience. Everything was organized and in place and easy to find. One of the sales associates in the store also offered help finding sizes, certain player's jerseys etc. -$500 later, me and my husband couldn't have been more satisfied with our purchase. I just ordered a custom jersey in person and I couldn't be happier. Initially, I tried to order one from the NHL website, but then saw the reviews and discovered their custom jerseys are only iron pressed. I'm lucky that they agreed to cancel my purchase. Other people complained they refused to refund/cancel. I decided to try again and redeem myself by going to the sharks store (something I should've done to begin with) and they were so friendly and professional. I almost ordered from the kiosk, but they informed me if I did, it would be iron pressed. They gladly helped me when I asked for a custom stitched jersey. They showed me the blank jersey they would be customizing, which I'm grateful for, because I was able to make sure the sizing was right. I'm not a particular fan of the Sharks Store. The location isn't very big and the selection isn't expansive. There always seems to be a wider variety of Sharks gear and merchandise on the NHL's online store, and most of the stuff they have here is available online anyway. I haven't found there to be a pricing advantage to shopping here either, where the prices are usually higher than you can find online but balance out after shipping costs. It is fun to come in and browse on non-game days. However, the location is way too small is just way too much of a hassle to deal with the long, crowd control line to get in on game days. Went to purchase some tickets at the box office for a Sharks game to celebrate my lil sister's bday and I figure I'd stop by the Sharks store to see what new stuff they got. I was glad to see that although Spring is afoot, they still got plenty of warm apparel. Not discounted of course... but nice stuff indeed. I got some leg warmers and a beanie for me and a new jersey for my little guy. I was browsing my way around the small store and I was asked if i needed any help by one of the two gals working there. It appeared as though they had received a new shipment because they were busy reorganizing and stocking up stuff. There was a game last night so they were making sure they had plenty of EVERYTHING, and they had their line barriers put up and all. Very friendly staff and they both took their time to greet me even though it was obvious that they were on a time crunch to get the store all plumped up with stuff for fans to buy. I never have a problem finding sizes here! They keep the store pretty well stocked and organized with all sorts of merchandise for the family - even during game time. At the end of the season, they always have a big sale. I've picked up plain logo tshirts for $5 in the past! On regular priced items, season ticket holders can use their ID cards for a discount.
