SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this place a negative star I would! These people are overcharging their clients. I came to purchase a pair of jeans, t shirt and a hoodie which came out to about $135 only to see in my bank account a charge of $433. I returned to the store only for them to tell me they couldn't help me nor would return the money because they don't have previous transaction reports. (Yes I did not have the itemized receipt but I did have a receipt with just the amount on it). Even though they had cameras and we asked for them to go back and check the guys had no interest in helping! The short Hispanic( Sami) employee said there was nothing he could do and if we wanted to we could go to the San Jose location to speak to the manager. I asked if they had a book keeping system (as I once worked for a retail business and I was able to go back days or months to find a certain transaction. Any business has some sort of program or system to keep track of their transactions!!! It's part of running the business and tracking inventory and expenses. How are you going to tell me you have no such system??!!! Whatever you do don't shop here! If you do, double and triple check your account. The same thing may happen, they verbally tell you a low amount but your account will have a much higher amount and they will keep that money instead of finding ways to fix their mistake! Jeans Palace reminds me of a store in East San Jose called San Jose Blue Jeans that I used to shop at when I was a young thug coming up in the hood. I decided to wander over and take a look inside while waiting for my turkey burger to be cooked at Slider's, which is a few doors over in the same center. The first thing I noticed was the rhinestone Raider's medallion in the glass case. I was tempted to buy it for my fellow gang member (I'm in an all girls gang called the Ladybugs). It was hard to resist, but I passed. The thought of how many 40's of Old E. I could buy with that money made it easy to pass up. They have excellent deals on essentials here, for instance, I found sweat pants for my guy for only $14.99. These are the super thick ones that have the soft lining with the cargo pockets- they even had sweat shorts! They carry lots of plain and printed hoodies and sweats for both men and women as well. And- well, they aren't called Jeans Palace for no reason-they carry a wide assortment of jeans by Levi's, Ecko, G-Unit, Apple bottoms, and more. The best deal that I found- had to be on children's school uniforms by Dickie's. If you are a parent of a child who wears uniforms- then you already know that uniforms can get expensive. Dickie's brand is durable- and Jeans Palace carries them at an excellent value. I also noticed rhinestone watches for both men and women by Ecko, and more. And YES- they carry grills! They even carry shoes. I was actually quite impressed that they had such a large variety of items- this is a ghetto person's paradise! For serio, homes! They also have the largest stock of Bay Area, and bedazzled Mac Dre shirts that I have ever seen anywhere! Even though I would never shop here for anything for myself unless I were going to a gangsta theme party, I give four stars because Jeans Palace deserves it for great customer service, and a large stock of items at fair prices! read more

Fuck this place and its owners/management. I got treated so poorly here that I can't even believe it. As my sister and I were happily shopping (it was my first trip here), I noticed one of the people working there acting like a weirdo and giving us weird looks and following us in creepy half-circles. I thought to myself, "Um, maybe this guy just has zero experience with women??" He eventually approached us directly and told us that we should leave because the cops were on their way. I was completely perplexed by his comment and asked what exactly he was talking about. He kept repeating the same confusing comment until finally coming out and accusing us of stealing from him, which was the shock of my lifetime! He had a plastic security sensor in his hand that he said he'd found on the ground, and he said he thought WE'd removed it from a piece of clothing (even though there were also other shoppers present). I showed him the clothing we were holding that we planned to buy and how all of the sensors were attached, which seemed to surprise him, but he decided to dig in anyway and act completely inappropriately and ask us to leave after making our purchases. If I'm being completely honest, he was actually sort of acting like a paranoid tweaker or something. Looking back, I wish I hadn't bought anything from there, but I guess I did anyway just to show him that I have plenty of money and don't need to steal anything, let alone some stupid ass ghetto t-shirts! Give me a break! I assure you there is nothing about my appearance/behavior or my sister's that would've made him feel uncomfortable, and neither of us were wearing baggy clothing or carrying big bags, etc. In fact, most business owners like to have us around because we're cute, nice, young ladies. Great place to shop if your into urban clothing and some new kicks. I got clothes here a few times and I always get complements and people asking where did I get my clothes. Now I know if you read all the other "bad reviews" you will here about some guy eye balling them and following them around. Seeing the infamous basic black Dickies coats gives me flash backs of a 11 year old me keeping warm in my dad's over sized coat. The other day I was driving down W. San Carlos thinking where can I get a Bay tee and an SF hat but avoid the mall(s). Immediately I thought of Jean's Palace! I haven't been here in a few years, but it hasn't changed. Bay tees are overly packed on racks ($19.99). Dickies, Ben Davis, off brand and flea market grade clothes for decent prices. Big man tall tees in ever color (no more Champs or Footlocker, this place is cheaper). Tee's with interesting sayings, "Felons are people too". Umm, you better wear that shirt with pride, lol. And an assortment of reasonably priced coats and uniforms. Unfortunately, it seems that Jean's Palace doesn't frequently stock some items. I was looking for 2 particular Santa Clara shirts for my brothers birthday. They were stocked with every size BUT the one size I needed. Then I overheard a women asking for an item in a certain size and she was told that's the only items they have. Sadly, they cater more to men; the women's section is poorly stocked. And what disturbed me was majority of the white shirts (I noticed mainly with the Bay tees) were filthy! As if the people who shop here have dirty hands! The shoulder areas of the shirts (the area that is commonly touched when browsing), are super dirty! Or maybe it collects dust. Blah! After 15 minutes of browsing through the entire store and not happy with what I found, I purchased a gift card instead. Let my brother choose what he wants. If you need any urban apparel for decent prices this place is for you. I'm not a big type of person by height and weight so I have a hard time finding a small since urban apparel is usually the oversized mediums and higher for men. So my choices of buying a tshirt or jacket are generally thrown out the window for me, and it doesn't help that there really isn't much that caught my likings. One thing I really love is their hats. It's not the basic normal ones as you find at Lidz or a cap store but unique with crazy designs. The fellas that work there are nice. I purchased a hoodie as a gift over the weekend. I asked the sales person, if the item is not the right size or if the gift isn't what they wanted could it be returned. Sami stated to save the receipt and bring it back. Unfortunately, my daughter needed a larger size, and wanted a different color and design in the hoodie. I went to return the gift and was told they do not honor returns. I can only exchange the item or store credit. At that time, both employees started talking crap about me in spanish and insulting my intellegence. I asked for the manager's name and was told it was the same name as the kid that rang me up that day. Long story short, my daughter doesn't like anything at either store and wants to purchase the hoodie from another retailer. They should post a sign stating to customers so they are aware of purchases and refund policies. Rather than post it on the receipt. Talk about shady business!
