We stopped for dinner tonight and we were so happy we did. I ordered the the Philly Burger on Texas Toast. Holly Cow! It was so tasty!!! I added Shark sauce to the burger and ordered the scrumptious fries. Hubby ordered a bacon cheeseburger on Texas Toast with extra crispy bacon...and.....the bacon was actually extra crispy and not burned. He ordered the tots. They came hot and perfectly crispy. There is outside seating and plenty of inside seating too. We will definitely be back! read more

Sharks Burger - Philly Burger on Texas Toast - YUM! - Burgers Near Me - Leander, Texas

Delicious simple BYO burgers, but most importantly, their fries ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!! They're fried to perfection, nicely and perfectly crunchy with a light batter coating each piece of fry. A family fries can feed 4 big eaters. If you don't finish your fries (it's very likely that you won't have leftovers), don't throw them away. Take them home and reheat them in an air fryer, they will come out as good as fresh fries. If you come here for burgers, you MUST get an order of fries. It's a MUST! read more

The food is absolutely amazing. Staff are so kind and give service with a smile. Want a long wait either. Conveniently located and ready to get to. If you go, you won't be disappointed. Great to go alone, but trust you'll want to take your friend, family, or loved ones to enjoy a good meal. read more

I've loved Sharks Burger ever since they first started as a small kitchen in a local convenience store. Recently I dropped by one of their other locations and fell in love with their fantastic, delicious Great White again and couldn't be more pleased with the service. Pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic, but outside of the Great White you absolutely should try the Shark Bites and if you want a solid brunch, try the Rise and Shine. The Shark Bites come with an amazing sauce and somehow they've figured out how to make the most beefy (chicken-y?) nuggets I've ever had with breading that is crisp and locks in the moisture. The side dipping sauce is flavorful and works well on the fries or tots that you can order along with them; it's only too bad I can't order a jug of it to go. I'd say they exhibit the same culinary cunning with the Rise and Shine, as I've had few other burgers that come with a fried egg topping that didn't end up soggy or messy. Another great call-out is the customizability of the burgers. I once ordered a double Great White with lettuce back in the day and got the best keto burger stack I've ever eaten. read more

I am very happy to see this place growing. We are now at their third location (well, third for us). We his is the only stand alone location at the moment so more of a regular restaurant or burger joint. I will simply say that each location has been exactly what it should be. Great burgers and fries at a decent price. The burgers taste nice and fresh. They have a good assortment of burgers and you can build your own. It is all made to order so not fast food. The servings are a good size so more than enough to fill me. Overall, a great burger joint to frequent. read more

Wonderful burgers and chicken sandwiches. My wife loves the chicken nuggets because it's real chicken breast meat. We highly recommend Sharks for dine in or takeout read more

My family tried Sharks Burger in Leander tonight & it was Great! We ordered a burger, a chicken sandwich, & mini corn dogs. Everyone enjoyed the food. The restaurant was clean & the staff, Jason & Lauren, were just about the nicest people you'll ever come across. I highly recommend this location. read more

Jason went the extra mile to get my custom order right! Great Beyond Beef option also.

Pains me this place is So far from the house....Slammin good smash burgers. I like the concept on the ordering....we both went with the Great White Cheddar Bacon Burger and you add the sides you want (aka lettuce, tomato, etc) way easier for the picky eater....wifes was plain mine loaded...very thin burger yet still a bit pink inside....buns were fresh, my veggies were cold....She went with fries which were amazing...not sure what is on them but they out shined the tots that came with mine...not that they weren't good....they were fresh, crisp and piping hot. Over all a great visit....just So Far...hopefully they will open another location in Austin. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch with my family one Saturday and I had the Jalapeno Jack Jalapeno burger, which was great. It had the perfect amount of spice, not too mild nor wanting more. The fries and tots were fine, but nothing really outstanding about them. All said, everyone like their burgers. There is a large underwater mural in the dining room that our girls really liked. It has a big great white shark and a bunch or other animals like a seahorse, eel, sea turtles and plenty of fish and coral. Our oldest was like "Look! Nemo!" We'd go back. I would note that I found it odd that everything was served in to-go bags even though we were dining in. Additionally, the kid's meals are served with standard sized cups. So, if you want a soft drink and just want to give your little one a water cup, you're all set. read more

I am rating the location at 15609 Ronald Regan Blvd in Leander. Pros: There were a lot of fries and tater tots. The fries have a coating. They take Apple Pay Free WiFi is available They have a drive-through and limited indoor seating Lots of outdoor dining space avialable Cons: Each burger consists of two thin patties of meat. They claim 1/3 pound which I'm sure is raw weight. About like the double at In-N-Out, but without the flavor. In fact, mine was on the dry side and had practically no flavor, but it was on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and condiments included (no cheese). They advertise as "100% Angus beef", but when you grind beef it really makes no difference. It was just bland. I added fries, and it ended up being those coated fries that I didn't expect at a gourmet burger place. My wife got tater tots, and they were fine. They gave a lot of the fries and tots, to make you feel as if you were getting your money's worth. Everything is a-la-carte pricing, there are no "combos". So the $6 burger ended up costing me $10.50 with drink and tax. My wife and I got the cheapest burger-drink-fries available and the bill was $22.73 before tip. It's an industrial atmosphere, dark grey walls, high black ceiling, bare concrete floors. Whenever others talked, it echoed in the room. Not cozy or relaxing in the least; a cold feeling. There were exactly 12 parking spaces that were not handicapped. And within this section of the center there is another restaurant and a doughnut shop located, so they all share the 12 spaces. Luckily nobody much was there at 2pm on the Saturday when we visited. If it got busy, you would have to park quite a distance away and walk to the restaurant. I wanted to like this place, but I would not go back there again. They are in the gourmet price range for their burgers which are not gourmet at all. They make them appear less expensive by the a-la-carte pricing to quickly and exponentially raise the price. I love a good burger, and was expecting a lot from the reviews, but I did not realize any value here, bland food and cold atmosphere. It's out of the way for me to visit, so I'll not be back; not here or any of the other restaurants in the chain. read more

The place is legit with a pretty simple and small menu. Staff is fairly friendly and seating area is clean. My son got the kids burger with fries. The burger was kids size and good. The fries that came with the kids meals was adult size. Speaking of fries, you can easily split an order and that even goes for the kids plate. We also got the kids tenders. They were alright. Again the portion of fries was large. I got the Great White Cheddar Bacon Burger. The burger itself was pretty good. The main knock against it was the bacon. It was a small slice and wasn't crispy. However the burger patties themselves are great and the bread is also good. read more

We go here frequently. The Jalapeno Jack burgers are possibly the best burgers I've had anywhere. Every single ingredient used is top notch. I set up a work lunch over here one day, because I had been telling my coworkers how good it is. It's a bit of a drive. But after trying it, now several of them drive from all over Austin to come here. Not necessarily recommending it for a work lunch though, the menu is pretty simple. But for people that appreciate a quality burger, you have to check it out. read more

Good tasting burger with lots of different choices. A bit on the greasy / messy side, but I cinder that a plus, instead of a dry lifeless lump. Be aware that there are many types of burger available not displayed on the in-store menu. Sharks have invaded Cedar Park, no longer restricted to Leander. Sharks is a new burger sensation to come to town. Hand pressed burgers, made to order. The Cedar Park location has limited hours and menu now. Open from 5pm - 8:00pm. The staff is fresh and energetic. Store is clean, nicely laid out. I order my burger with Jalapeño Jack Cheese and Bacon. Meat is fresh and juicy, delicious flavor. The fries are nicely battered or have it with Tater Tots. My wife ordered the "Great White" Chicken sandwich with Tater Tots. It comes with bacon, but she thought it was a bit greasy. The burgers will get you full fast. Glad to see that Sharks is here, right next to my favorite Taco and Donut shop. Michael C. read more

Great burgers and a fun dining area. A hand-painted mural of a great white shark on wall. Comfortable seating and easy ordering. Their burgers are delicious and the buns are fresh. Their meat is high quality and worth the slightly higher price. They were seasoned perfectly. Fries are good too, but I wish they would let you pump your own ketchup rather than having to tear open those tiny packages of ketchup. I will be back here again! read more

We went this evening to try their burgers and loved they had an outside patio since we had our dogs with us. I was so excited to try their burgers because you hear about the gas station Sharks. Upon walking in its super clean. I noticed a lot of to go orders than dine in. I went to the counter to place an order and the cashier Zach was welcoming at first and when I started asking questions I could tell he was getting irritated. So I kind of rushed the ordering process. I ordered two jalapeño Jack (added bacon and grilled onions) and side of tater tots. The bacon was superb and crispy. Loved that they use fresh jalapeños and not pickled jalapeños. I couldn't say much about the star of the show the actual meat of the burger. It was very bland and tasted like it had no seasoning on the patty itself. Maybe I caught them on an off day? Maybe go to the original sharks at the gas station to confirm if it's the same. read more

Awesome burger joint off Ronald Reagan! They pride themselves on simple, but solid burgers and I appreciate that. We got our food to go due to current restrictions but the restaurant itself is nice. They painted an amazing mural with a shark close to the service counter that looks over the dining area. Menu is simple, which I appreciate. Less is more sometimes when it comes to burgers. I got the Great White with shark sauce (Sharp Cheddar, Bacon) and it rocked. The fries were super crispy, I think they're lightly battered for extra crunch. You can also order tots and make a decent amount of modifications. Happy to report that its a Coca Cola joint as well (sorry Pepsi friends, im biased). While we were waiting the owner, Dino came out and checked on us. Super friendly and he made sure we had been helped. This place doesn't try to reinvent the wheel but it chooses to keep it simple and does it damn well. Highly recommended! Happy to have this place nearby. read more

Craving a burger and in Leander? Can't think of a better burger this side of town. Came on a calm Saturday for a late lunch. Ordered the great white, came out pretty quickly, ready to "feed the frenzy" as their slogan implies. Patties are almost smash Patties, their thin but the double makes about the same size of a regular patty to this size burger. Super fresh veggies, generous cheese and crispy bacon settled in between two buttery buns equal a burger masterpiece. The fries are those type of fries that you'd find in a gas station burger joint that is best in class, nothing fancy just a solid Idaho potato French fry. Ambiance is a self serve environment, order at front cashier and they'll call out your name. Cool shark mural on the big wall was a good choice. Would love to see a better meal deal option burger is priced right at about 10 dollars but 5 extra dollars for small fry and medium soft drink is a bit much. Overall would come back when I'm in the area looking for a great burger. read more

I easily placed a to go order through their website and the food was ready at the expected time. The fries & tots are very good and large portions. Our Sharksburgers were delicious. They come with two thin patties and were moist and flavorful. The veggies were fresh and burgers made correctly as ordered. The bun is soft and sturdy enough to hold it all together (at pet peeve of mine). We'd definitely go back next time in the area or when we come across another location. read more

I have eaten here twice referred by a colleague and the food is delicious! I strongly recommend getting on the newsletter. It's cute and there's often a promo code at the bottom! I must celebrate Kaitlyn for going above and beyond as an employee here. I hope management reads this! My only complaint is that everything is a la carte. I can walk out of here spending an arm and a leg but I have discovered the "build your own" is the best option for me. Love both the tots and French fries. Still waiting to try the chicken! One of the better gas station burgers I've had in a long time. Friendly staff and fast service for made-to-order. All the burgers are double patties - not giant but filling We ordered the following: - Jalapeño Jack (added fried egg, grilled onions) - Great White - 2x Sharks Philly - Jr Sharks Burger - Grilled Cheese - Extra fries, tots Approximately $62 before tip The Sharks Philly was ok but the Patties a little dry/bland. Everything else was good. Would definitely come back again. read more

Ok.. So the food is actually very good and fresh tasting. The simple menu makes it easy to order and the staff were friendly. The location was also clean given the time of day (evening/dinner time). The only negative was the wait. We walked in and ordered (to eat there) and we were placed behind online orders. One would think customers in your store, giving you their personal order and payment would take precedence over some rando who ordered online while in their pajamas watching reruns of Air Wolf... We waited a solid 40 minutes for our order that we were eating on location..... Not cool man... Not cool..... read more

Overall the food was fine - probably a bit overpriced for what it is; truly this is a fast food restaurant that really doesn't do much to cater to people who want to sit and dine in. Very basic seating (uncomfortable metal chairs), high ceilings and no music, TV or noise to speak of. Felt like they just used the space that was available rather than customizing much for a "burger" place. Am I unhappy with it - not really... would I go back - not likely. There are much better burgers at the same price with better ambiance all over this town. Sorry - just average. (Edit tots and fries were hot and solid) read more

Very good, big gourmet burgers! Great white $8.99 - [sharp white Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon strips]. I added lettuce, tomato. Very good burger and much bigger than I expected. I think there were 3 slices of cheese. Good bun. Fries $2.49- very good and crispy. Shareable- good price for the portion. Rise & shine $10.59 - [white Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, tater tots, fried egg & shark sauce]. Asked for tots on the side (so we could share). They were very good and crispy. The fried egg was not runny, which i actually prefer, so it's not messy. Grilled chicken single $8.59 - Mom enjoyed it. read more
