Today I ordered a couple of different drinks than I usually do. Had a craving for taro, and thus got a Taro Milk Tea. Typically, I do not order this kind of drink because I know that the taro is artificial powder and not real taro, but even though Sharetea also uses powder, the flavor tastes great (obviously still not as great as the actual taro, but still yummy!). I also got a Passionfruit Green Tea that also tasted great. Both were at 30% sweetness with Grass Jelly as a topping. It was the right amount of sweetness, and the Grass Jelly was a good pairing for the drinks. If you're craving for something a little bit different than tapioca, I would definitely give it a try! read more

We tried the mango mimosa, which although more pricey and smaller in volume really came through with the tropical mango, mint, and lime flavors, and the thai iced tea which was a bit sweet (but could be reduced when you place your order). I love the Mango Green Tea, it's the best mango green tea i know in the area because other shops have their mango flavor IN their sweet syrup, but at ShareTea, no matter how sweet you get decide to get it from 0-100, you can ALWAYS taste the mango. I used to hate ShareTea and thought it was low quality but this drink changed my mind lol oops. I cant lie though, sometimes it's a hit or miss and sometimes the mango tea tastes watered down. But I come too many times a week and it definitely is better more often than not. Like.. ALMOST daily, and i get the same thing. Also my favorite part is that if you ask for less ice, they don't dilute your drink with water, they just add more tea!! They also are always super generous with how much boba pearls they add in. Love this place! When you walk in, it's a fun, funky vibe and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was inside. The line went by fast and I ordered a bubble tea that I saw another Yelper recommend. The flavor wasn't my favorite but I loved the boba. Drinks tasted great! The service was rude... they took the order fine but then when i picked up my order, I was asked if I needed a straw as if there was another way to get the drink out of the cup. Then when I said yes, I was tossed straws with no option of the size. When I tried to get a small one I was yelled at and told to "ask next time." I usually order via DoorDash but stopped ordering from here because I never receive a straw. Now I understand why. If giving out straws is not something you are willing to do, maybe don't sell bubble tea. read more

First official day of the soft opening and very impressed! (Note: As one of the first customers as they opened I didn't encounter a line or wait) The interior is simple yet modern with various styles of seating- tables, three high counter seats, a long table, and a small couch. The line to order is clearly marked and divides the seating area which is a nice touch so there are no crowds as well as confusion. A menu displayed on screens but also at the front counter, as well as smaller menus to look at while in line. Standard customization of toppings, sweetness, and ice levels with prices starting at $4. Even with getting certain drinks hot or iced. I got the classic pearl milk tea with regular sweetness and regular ice. The classic is done great and plenty of pearls too. They are soft and chewy even after the drink sits for a bit, very fresh. Ice is flat and doesn't take up space, you get more tea! The tea flavor is present and blends nicely even until the end. I can see why Sharetea is popular and with so many choices- a variety of toppings, (some I haven't heard of or seen before like mini pearls and aiyu jelly) and tea choices like fresh milk to flavored creama's and everything in between! The staff works quickly and efficiently, the four who are making the drinks having specific roles and the girl at the front taking orders is friendly, as she greeted me when ordering and was smiling too. First time having Sharetea! They have quite an extensive menu and lots of topping options to choose from. I ended up getting the wintermelon w/ lemon juice, which was recommended by one of the workers. Unfortunately they ran out of the regular sized boba so I got it with the mini ones. Pretty cool spot. I was surprised to hear they let you choose sweetness levels from 0, 30, 50 and 100%. I'm not a huge dessert fan, but I do like my coffee. Now my wife and I can come here to get her sweet tooth on and my coffee milk tea! It was strange at first going 0% sugar, but it grew on me. My wife ordered the strawberry lemonade with ice cream on top. If you get the ice cream on top, I'd recommend eating it inside. She had a dome lid on top and could barely get the straw passed the scoop of ice cream on top. They offered to blend it at first, but we thought it'd take away from the experience. Was lucky to get into the Soft Opening tonight and check out the space. I think you can tell a lot about a boba place by how good their basic items are, like milk tea and pearls (tapioca balls), and let me say, they were on point! Super pleased with their Pearl Milk Tea, and the Winter Melon Crema was sweet and kind of savory -- I'm not sure how else to explain it. The gal who served up our drinks seemed to know her stuff -- she gave us a small plastic knife for the Winter Melon Crema, and instructed us to cut two slits on opposite sides of the top of the plastic cover of the cup to allow the tea to be drunk with the cream. I never knew that's how you were supposed to drink it, so I really appreciated that The interior is very modern and clean. Couldn't get a good pic of the menu, so apologies for that. While I'm tickled with glee that there's more boba places in Beaverton, I'm also a bit worried about my wallet and waistline, but I guess that's an acceptable compromise and small price to pay for a happy tummy. I'm happy Sharetea has come to Oregon because they have a lot of varieties of teas you can try. The most popular I've seen people get is their wintermelon (also a favorite of mine) but it is on the sweeter side because it's a syrup they use. The café is usually packed (due to popularity) and usually the service is timely when the lines aren't long or people aren't ordering 10 teas for group orders. It's kind of crazy to see how many boba (bubble) tea places coming up in the Pprtland Metro area, especially Beaverton area within the last year or two. I'm glad that Sharetea decided to come here. They have some really good drinks and you can just tell that the quality is good from tasting it. They also have the mini bobas (pretty addicting) and the cream foam that you can sip on before devouring the drink. You can order the drinks with specified levels of sweetness and amount of ice in each drink. This is one of the best bubble tea places that I've ever been to! I say this because the tea tasted amazing and the price was really great for the size. A lot of places in the Portland downtown area charge upwards of $6 for a small size (tea bar) and the tea is way too sweet. I highly recommend! The only issue is that this place seems to always be packed and busy but that's good because it goes to show how delicious the tea is. I recently discovered mini boba and i'm in love! They're so fun and I love the texture of a bunch of them in my mouth. I'm also a big fan of the egg pudding and aloe vera as well. I'm super picky when it comes to bubble tea but this place exceeded all my expectations. Got the classic pearl milk tea and mango and passion fruit green tea. Classic pearl milk tea: got it just the way it was 100% sweetness and it was perfect, not too overly sweet in my opinion. The pearls were perfect. Chewy and soft but not too soft to where it just melts with a hint of sweetness. ($4.50) Mango passion fruit green tea w/lychee: great refreshing flavor. It would've been perfect if it was 80% sweetness. ($5) Price was very good especially for the taste and quality. And the place was very simple and clean. Tl;dr: Got the blended taro with custard and mini boba at 50% sweetness and my girlfriend got the brown sugar milk tea with mini boba-- both were tasty and refreshing! Visited after a long hot day at work. I was worried that there would be a line out of the door like there usually is on hot days like this, however the line was only about 3-4 parties long which was manageable for me (Re: social anxiety). When we got to the counter, they asked us politely to stay behind the blue line while ordering which was awesome to see! There has been a lot of slacking businesses as COVID cases seems to be improving. They kindly informed us that they were out of their large (normal size) tapioca/boba which was a disappointment, however they did have mini tapioca/boba-- that would have to do! I ordered a blended taro with custard and mini boba (50% sweetness) and my girlfriend got a brown sugar milk tea with mini boba (normal sweetness). Both drinks came out looking like they were fresh off of an ABG's instagram page! Very cute. The drinks were refreshing and tasty! They recently just opened so expect long lines and long wait times but that's normal. Service is good. I had questions and they were patient in answering and explaining. Their prices are great. $4-5 for each drink and it's a decent sized drink, too. I've tried a few drinks here but I only like one--green tea crema. Boba/pearls/tapioca balls: perfect chewiness! I don't get it with drinks often because it's not good but this place made the pearls to perfection! 5/5 Green Tea Crema: I ordered the drink 30% sugar level and it had a strong tea flavor, which is what I wanted and it was really good. The Crema top was the best part. It had this salty cheese flavor and it's SO GOOD. 5/5 Grapefruit green tea: very sweet even when I ordered with 30% sugar level. It wasn't really grapefruit tasting. I have been to several Shareteas in both Washington and Canada and have had good experience. So when I heard of Oregon opening up one in Beaverton, I was really excited. In my first visit I tried their Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea with caramel toffee and it was insanely sweet despite cutting down the sweetness to 50%. My brother ordered their Mango Green Milk Tea and that one was refreshing. Nice balance between both the mango and green tea. Rich enough to still taste both flavors. My second visit, I opted for just their Classic Milk Tea. They were making a fresh batch of boba when I was there, so a longer wait, but I was looking forward to having fresh boba. The ending product however was underwhelming. Milk tea was heavily diluted with ice, like 1/4 of the cup was just ice, so flavor was super light and bland. The boba itself while fresh, had little brown sugar flavor. Overall not up to par with past experiences. Don't know if it's just this location. read more

Sharetea deserves the best one in PDX area. The line is unexpected, which means it can be very short or extremely long so stopping by to grab a quick drink is risky if you're short on time. TIPs: Get whatever you like but "CREMA" topping is a must. When you receive your drink, look for a little plastic knife on the counter, make a incision on the lid and drink thru that crack. There were plenty of people waiting for their order. Luckily there was only 1 couple in line. I was able to place my order quickly. Decided to get classic milk tea 50% sweetness with the small boba. Also got the oolong creama 50% sweetness to try. Didn't realize I could add more toppings as the creama is considered a topping. Will try next time. Both drinks were ordered with less ice. Surprisingly the wait was less than 5 minutes. They got the orders right. The worker explained the knife that came along with the creama which was nice. The level of sweetness was good for me. The drink tasted fresh and did not have the powdered taste to it. Not a huge boba fan but must admit this is probably the best place for bubble tea in Oregon. The mini bubbles were soft and chewy. Used to come here twice weekly when they first opened. Everything was amazing as the teas and boba were super good. I usually got Oolong milk tea with boba and it was perfect. Sharetea is one of many boba places popping up on the west side in Beaverton. There's so many options now that it is hard to pick a favorite or for any one place to feel distinctive. One of the highlights of Sharetea is that it only does one size of 22oz and nearly all drinks are $5 or less--a sort of no fuss approach which I really enjoy. On the other hand, they also do adjustable sweetness levels or different toppings to cater to your taste which just adds another layer of choice but is basically standard for any milk tea place now. Sharetea may have an edge where authenticity is concerned. It is a Taiwan based company--where boba was born. The menu is large and varied and has a lot of promise, for the first timer it has a favorites menu which I think are picked by the staff. I tried the handmade taro with milk at 0% sweetness.
