Not a huge fan of the handmade taro drink, but I give stars for the effort to remake it. I appreciate that the individual did not hesitate to fix my order. The first time I ordered it I was only tasting the flavors from the egg pudding and the bubbles. There was no hint of taro at all! In fact, it was like drinking a water slushie. Odd. I have been to Sharetea 4 times. First time was spot on. The drinks we ordered were made perfectly and of course we had to go back. I even claimed that it was probably my new favorite place to go for our boba tea fix. Second visit, the drinks were good but not great. Third and fourth visits were not good at all. I always order the usual. Oolong tea with crema, 50% sweetness, light ice. This place just seems to be inconsistent with how the drinks are made. The last two visits the oolong tea seems really bitter and burnt tasting with no hint of sweetness at all. Service here has always been good though and lines are always long. I would go back, but maybe next time order something different. read more

2.5 stars: I ordered a QQ Happy Family Milk Tea, and it was delicious! However, the service I received put me in a bad mood. I have three grievances (the most important one is #3, so skip to that if you don't want to read the other two): 1. I tried to order my one drink, but the cashier couldn't hear me, so I stepped half a foot over the blue line that customers are supposed to order at for safety purposes. I repeated my order so that she could hear me, but was politely asked to step back to the blue line. I did, but then immediately after that was prompted to pay for the drink, which included stepping forward to the counter. That was odd. I am all for safety precautions during this pandemic, but why bother telling me to step back half a foot just to have me come up to pay one or two seconds later? The cashier was no doubt just doing her job, but in this case, the request felt weird. 2. When an order number was called out, I couldn't clearly hear whether or not it was my order. So, I went up to where the drink was, and asked an employee who was nearby if the order number was my order number. She completely ignored me, and the establishment was not noisy. Across the counter from the employee was some man who was leaning in and definitely not social distancing (their heads were like two feet apart). Maybe they were family, dating or had some other relationship that rendered social distancing unnecessary, but store employees should set an example for the standards that they enforce on customers. Also, please note that when I asked for confirmation, neither of these two individuals were speaking, so I didn't interrupt, or anything. I ended up being able to find my order number on my drink and took it. 3. When the cashier asked me if I would like to leave a tip, I almost said "no" because I know the establishment's employees are making at least minimum wage, and the pandemic has negatively impacted me financially. I'm not making much more money than they are. However, I always feel bad not tipping, so I answered the cashier's question with "50 cents." After I had left the establishment and was sitting at a stoplight in my car, I took a look at my receipt. I was charged 74 cents for a tip. I know that words get muffled when we speak through masks, but how can someone mishear "SEVENTY-FOUR cents" instead of "FIFTY cents?" Each option has a different amount of syllables and substantial variation in letter sounds. Either the cashier deliberately chose her own tip, or she didn't hear me clearly, but chose to guess what I had said, rather than ask for confirmation. Both options are not okay. You don't guess what someone said when it comes to their money, and of course you don't steal. SO! My drink was delicious, but my overall experience was below average. If I had just dealt with one or two of the above listed grievances, I would have been a bit upset, but would have just moved on in life. All people and businesses make mistakes. A lot of this negative experience could have just come from miscommunication on the part of the employees and myself-- again, it's bound to happen when we're social distancing and using masks. However, when it happens three times in a span of minutes, I feel like something is off. I've been to other shops and restaurants during the pandemic, and the employees and me have always worked together to clearly understand each other. (Also, I am in my 20s and have satisfactory hearing and vocal capabilities.) So, I gave this Sharetea two stars for the yummy drink, and half a star as a gesture of empathy-- some of my negative experience may have been caused in part by me, and we are operating during a pandemic. However, I have been to other Shareteas and have had excellent experiences at those locations. So, in the future, I will go to them, instead of this location. It's better to be safe than sorry! read more

It's been a hit or miss here for me, but overall I love the drinks that suited me personally. I LOVEE the kiwi tea w aiyu jelly and the wintermelon creama. Aiyu jelly is a topping you can't find anywhere else!! I personally didn't like the hokkaido milk tea because it's too sweet for me and tastes like coconut. Just not for me I guess. I'm not a fan of the taro either, but my friends love it! Last time I got the taro blended for my mom, she said it was too icy and that every sip she would get chunks of ice in there. The next time we got it, it was smoother so yay! The boba is the right texture as well, so yayay. I will be coming back more to try different drinks!! read more

Used to love this place, but service went way down. The girl was nice not, and used my free drink on the cheapest one I got. Used to be they let you use it for the more expensive one. They also quit doing the rewards program all together it looks like. On top of that they made my drink incorrectly. When my boyfriend went back in to ask that they include the boba that girl was rude and said he needed to pay an additional 75 cents since she forgot to charge him so he did. But since that was the cheaper free drink it should have been included anyway! Ugh. So many new bubble tea places around, I'm glad to go to those! read more

I came here with my sister, I ordered a split blended tarp ice cream with pudding and boba. I received my drink and it was only the taro blended with the ice cream, they thought I said I wanted to substitute it for the for pudding but they misheard me, instead of just adding the pudding and boba they had to charge me for both, for a mistake they made. Honestly sharetea is the go to boba place, mainly for the mini pearls. Drinks there are pretty good except they have terrible customer service. The amount of times I've gone to sharetea throughout these past few months can be considered a regular. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this store and we always tip and only a very few times customer service was decent. The girls that takes the orders are very judgmental and impatient. Last time I went to sharetea the blonde ponytail haired girl saw us waiting in front of her and sent a text before she took our order. We were pretty dumbfounded by her actions, but we weren't too bothered by that. We continued with our order, but throughout the whole time we placed our order her attitude was terrible and impatient. We didn't want to make a big deal about this matter so we let it pass. However, today we went to sharetea again and experienced really bad customer service from the cashier again. This time it was a short dark brown haired girl who took our order. We told her nicely it was going to be a big order. She took our order impatiently and we asked her if we could see the order to make sure we had everything. The pos system they use could turn over to show the customers. So she basically slammed the computer towards us a few times. I understand hat it could get pretty annoying to handle a big order, but it was totally unnecessary to slam the computer towards us. Also the girl who took our order the last time came over to see if she could get our order started while the short hair girl was taking our order. The moment she saw the order, she and the short haired girl looked at each other and rolled theirs eyes. There are plenty of boba shops around I really DON'T NEED TO get boba at sharetea. I don't want to go pay for terrible customer service. This store really needs to teach their employees about customer service. Btw the girl(black/blonde ombré ponytail) who gave us our boba when it was done was really professional. We've seen her work there almost every time we went to sharetea and we've never had problems with her. We had drinks at Sharetea, and I appreciated that the customization I asked for was followed through. I had the coffee milk with boba. I asked for less ice and 30% sugar. The drink was perfect. The boba were just the right kind of chewy with a nice, light flavor. My kid had a mango with ice cream (which would have been better with the ice cream not blended in). They also enjoyed the boba.
