    Hot and sour soup

Had the Mongolian chicken combo. Absolutely delicious - full of chicken and healthy portions of chicken and vegetables. Hot and sour soup not too spicy or sour but absolutely delicious - very deep, savory broth full of flavor and umami.

    Cold noodle App. Delicious !!

Small quaint place with great service. I always look for spots with cold sesame noodles ( here they call them cold Szechuan noodles) definitely awesome. I paired it with the General Tso's lunch special which I thought was good. Nice experience. Ps. Parking not ideal, but typical for a "city". :)

Nice and quiet inside as well

The crispy spicy chicken is some of the best food I've ever had. The stair-fried pig pork is also good

Crispy nibs of nothing much and forgetful fried rice. I forgot everything about it but the $2 I paid for it.

Disappointed. Heard good things. Steamed dumplings were greasy. Water glass tasted like bleach. Chicken dish was dry unappealing mound of little tasteless nibs of fried dough heaped with hot red chili peppers (the peanuts and sesame seeds were best thing about dish). On top of it all I ordered fried rice on side. It was an extra $2, which is fine but it was ONLY rice apparently fried in soy sauce. Nothing extra like pork, egg or little shrimps, ya know? Like "fried rice?" It was all a bit depressing and not just because of the atmosphere.

Got twice cooked pork and crispy chicken. Both were very average. Worse, quantity was low for the price. It was not worth it. The crispy chicken was 60% dried chili. The pork dish was 60% green onion / scallions. What I did appreciate was their late night hours as we had our meal close to 1030pm. Service was not good. Asked for silverware. Asked for water. Asked multiple times for bill. Rang up pork dish as 5$ more than on menu - so please check prices before ordering and paying. They obviously didn't care. It showed in their service and good food.

Four of us, including a vegetarian, shared a bunch of delicious dishes. We started with the non-spicy cucumbers which were a group favorite, super garlicky yum. I had lo mein last time so I had to get it again, which was reliably amazing. My friend tried the squid and intestine dish which sounded a little out there but was super tasty. All of the veggies we shared were and buns were on point. So happy to dine here again. I would definitely recommend for groups - they were able to accommodate us easily. Excellent service.

Every time we're in town, we have to stop and some authentic Chinese cuisine. Growing up, my best friend's family was from China, and her mom is a fabulous cook, and she loved feeding me. Shangwei flavors take me back. I have tried so many of their dishes, and all have been amazing, our favorites is the Mongolian beef, the scallions wrapped in sliced pork belly, szechuan dumplings in chili oil, steamed pork buns, smoky pork and sprouts fried rice, beef lo mein, spicy braised pork belly and dry pot jumbo shrimp. Service is alright. Most of their business seems to be take out, but the restaurant is clean and well decorated. Absolutely one of our favorite Chinese places.

This spot is legit. I'm a big fan of szechuan style cooking. When done right, it's heat and salt with deep flavors. I had the baby bok choy with some beef intestines and twice cooked pork. Also had some steamed dumplings in chili oil. Everything was delicious. The service was on point, and I was seated right away. The inside of the restaurant could use some TLC, but I went for the food, and it didn't disappoint. I will definitely be heading back and trying the szechuan style fried chicken.

The significant price change from lunch to dinner is ridiculous. Food is mild not spicy.

The food is very good. The service is very bad. The people who run the place are slightly nasty. You decide if this is a place for you.

Simply amazing…read more.. While most people were indulging in Sunday brunch, my girlfriend wanted Chinese food. As we drove, she read the description for U & TEA and we knew we had to go. The place is clean with plenty of room and great lighting -- and the entire establishment is food focused. Our server helped with teas and plates and we placed our orders. My girlfriend got sweet and sour chicken for her main meal. It was obvious the food was fresh and the dish had been cooked in fresh oil (and only for a short amount of time). The sauce was delicate and subtle, which allowed the flavor of the tender chicken to shine through. And what a plate! She ended up having leftovers for two days. Although I normally order seafood, I love duck and have it once or twice a year. From the menu, their duck dishes looked fantastic. Our server recommended the Peking Duck, which I had always wanted to try. That dish brought Alice Gatsch with it. She is kind and engaging and introduced how I should properly eat Peking Duck. She walked be through the steps of how to prepare the buns with scallion, cilantro, and sauce. I wish I could convey how tender the duck was and how crispy the skin had been. It was incredible and I somehow cleared my plate (and didn't eat for the rest of the day). We cannot wait to return. Alice said she'd be happy to walk me through ordering a truly traditional meal and I look forward to that experience. The staff and food are too fantastic to pass up. I highly recommend you make a visit of your own!

I found the food at New China to be mediocre to poor. When I brought my take-out food home I found that the Chow Mein had no noodles. It just had lots of sprouts and other veggies. The veggies were okay, but I ordered a noodle dish and it came with no noodles. Yikes! My son ordered Orange Chicken and it was a bit mushy and the taste was unremarkable. There was "no crunch and no tang", my son said. The only redeeming thing I found it that the food is cooked to order and is ready in 5-10 minutes while you wait. However, there is no place to sit down so you have to take the food home or to your office to eat it. But then it gets cold by then which makes the flavor even more mediocre. Only go here if you are in a rush and don't have expectations in regards to taste.
