My reviews and ratings are based on comparable comparisons. My 5 star review is given in the realm of Chinese Take Out Joints. That said, this might be the best Chinese Take Out Joint I've ever ordered from. I ordered online in the morning for a 12 noon pickup. My food was ready as soon as I walked in at noon. The service was very friendly and they checked my order. The food is stupid good. The Singapore Mei Fun was spot on. It was spicy, just the right amount of madras curry, and the spiciness from the white pepper and dried chili was great. The ubiquitous ingredients of shrimp, chicken and roast pork were the right ratio with the vegetables and rice noodles. Honestly, this is one of the best Singapore Mei Fun's I've had in the US rivaled only by the one from Ho Sai Gai in Phila Chinatown. The General Tso's Chicken was also very good. The deep fried chicken was not soggy and the sauce was not too sweet. The golden brown color was perfect and the broccoli was not overcooked. This is easily one of the top 5 General Tso's Chicken I've had. The Egg Rolls, while not the same as Hunan of Ardmore, were also very good. The filling seems to be home made, not a pre packaged mix. The scallion pancakes were also crispy and not greasy. Easily some of the best take out pancakes I've ever received. The steamed dumplings were good. For Chinese Take Out, they were very good. The filling was not overly salty and skin was chewy but not doughy. The lo mein and pad thai were above average. The portions were all very generous for the price. If you are in the Easton/Palmer/Forks area, this is really a place you should try. It's way better than China King which is where we used to order from...or that place by the Little Caesar's...that place is terrible. TL;DR: For Chinese Take Out, New Yo Po is amazing. read more

First, and last, time here. The reviews were great, so I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered the steamed dumplings and cold noodles, NO spice. I went in to pick up my order, confirmed again that the noodles were NOT spicy and was assured they weren't. My order was $15.90. I handed the host $26, so I would get $10.10 back. I needed to break the $20 I had for later. I only received ten cents back, and when I asked for the $10 due back to me I was told I had given her $16. I politely said no, I gave you a $20. She said hold on, and looked at their phone, which I assume was checking the security cameras. Then they insisted again I had only given a $10. I said no, you can count the register and see I gave you a $20. Another host came over to help, and while they were looking at the security cameras through their phone, the original host said "why did you give me a twenty", like this was my fault. I said because I needed change. I did not mind waiting for them to check the register. Finally after about ten minutes the second host says they see on the security footage I was holding a $20 bill. I got my $10 change and left. I think while driving home, well hopefully the food is good. I get home, opened the food, and sure enough the cold noodles were covered in red chilies. I picked what I could out, but it was still quite spicy and not what I asked for, and confirmed was correct. After basically being called a liar, and blamed for their mistake, I couldn't even eat the noodles. Wasted $8 just to be insulted. I've worked in plenty of restaurants and bars. It is your job to check the money you are given, and when in doubt you count the register. You don't give the customer an attitude for your mistake. I'm thankful the second host intervened, as I'm an anxious person and was about to just let them keep the $10. Unfortunately, I will never order from here again. read more

Cheap and cheerful, classic Chinese-American takeout joint. I ordered online and it was ready right on time. The staff at the counter was friendly and wanted to make sure I had my correct order and all the sauce/utensils I needed. It's the kinda place you'd want to become a regular if you're from the area. I think I got extremely lucky and ordered one of the best things on the menu - fried wonton with garlic sesame sauce. The wontons were crispy, not too oily, and with a good filling to wrapper ratio while the dipping sauce was DELICIOUS. I haven't had anything like it before nor since. A deliciously complex sauce that was great with the deep fried wontons. Beef with garlic sauce dinner combo, hot and sour soup, and wonton soup were all good. I would even say above average (I've have bad and greasy wonton soups lately and this was not one of them). I wish I lived closer so I could get more of those wontons. read more

We ordered take out for dinner, I ordered online. It went very smoothly. I picked up my order, it was ready on the dot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had Szechuan Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein and Crab Rangoon. Everything was fresh and hot. The Rangoon is one of the best we've ever had. The main dishes were spicy and flavorful. This will definitely be a place we return again and again. The location makes for a fast pickup even at high traffic times of the day. read more

Mediocre at best Chinese food. Bland & boring wonton soup. Nothing making it a soup I would ever want again. Vegetables with scallops are an absolute joke. Vegetables are tasteless frozen vegetables. The so called scallops might be two whole scallops, cut into 8 little slivers. Also had an order of pan fried dumplings which were some of the smallest dumplings available from the frozen food selection at your local supermarket. Free hot tea is available if you wait for your meal to be prepared. Disappointing meal not worth trying again. read more

I have been coming here for gosh probably 15 years. I am spoiled, this is consistently the best Chinese takeout place I have ever gone to. It is family owned, the kids were always there doing homework, and now they work there. Very Friendly. I normally get the General Tso's EXTRA spicy and pork fried rice.( see the cup is pure red pepper and oil YUM). It is crunchy, and has a deep orange sweet flavor that goes so well with the spicy oil. This Chinese place is pretty darn good. I use to work next door at the pizza joint and this Chinese place has always been there. I have seen recently that most of the Chinese restaurants have been using a lot more bread in their chicken, pork and seafood dishes (i.e sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken). This place does as well so it is A-Ok for me. Try the chicken and brocolli or the chow mein is delicious. I will be back, my parents live close by read more

This is the best place ever!! Friendly children, very hardworking. They deserve a break! The food is always fresh clean and amazing, I highly recommend this place. Delivery takes a while but they're fast at cooking. I order once a week and they rarely make mistakes but when they do they're very apologetic and they remake the food they messed up. Pretty basic Chinese food. The pork fried rice has potential but it tastes smokey for whatever reason. I would have given 4 stars because we have frequented this establishment for over 10 years, but the children who run the register are emotionless and don't even say "thank you" or "you're welcome". I ordered the beef meifun and the crab Rangoons. The crab Rangoon's were OK at best. Definitely not crunchy or flavorful. The beef mei fun was a generous portion of the noodles that tasted like the gas cooktop they had been cooked on with a few specs of beef like item in it. No flavor other than tasting like gas because it's been cooked so long on a high gas flame! It was in edible and had me put in the garbage. A waste of $13! read more

Three strikes & you're out. This is the third time we've ordered from New Yopo in Easton in the last year; and this was the worst. The chicken and broccoli was ok but almost no sauce -- very dry. The chicken chowmein was not edible -- mushy white vegetables and gamey tasting chicken. The chicken on a stick was ordered for a guest who can't have carbs -- we opened the bags at home and found them burnt to a crisp -- solid black. The few pieces he was able to bite into looked like jagged toothpicks. No more Yopo. read more
