It shanes and for the most part you always get the same quality. I specifically stopped just to get the Chicken salad sandwich with the garlic salt on it but they no longer have it. I ended up getting the 3 piece tender and fries hot/lemon pepper mix sauce and lemon pepper on the fries. The fry mix was very salty, this was the first time trying it. The chicken was weird and stringy. It was actually difficult to cut with the knife which was never a problem in the past so maybe they have a different chicken vendor. I've been here a few times and this time was no different, it's a local Georgia small chain BBQ place. I came on Super Bowl Sunday and ordered a few things extra for the house. We got Chopped Chicken BBQ sandwiches, Brunswick stew, Mac and Cheese. The BBQ and the Stew was point on, but the Mac and Cheese was average and a little dry. Some of the worst ribs I've eaten in a long time. Very tough. The baked beans we slumped together and very cold. All in all a very bad experience. They had our order wrong the first time, so had to reorder for the second time. By this time we had to wait a little over 30 minutes to get a take out order. I want to thank Lori Townsend and her catering crew led by Kim. They saved the day when our son found out about two weeks before his wedding that his caterer could not do his wedding. A quick call to Lori led to action by her, their crew, and Kim who is over the catering there. Not only did they provide delicious chicken fingers, pulled pork, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and green beans, but their service was over the top. They cleaned up the tables, bagged all the trash, served the food and drinks, boxed the leftovers, served the wedding cake and boxed it up, and even boxed meals for the newlyweds to eat later. This is something they did on their own, wasn't requested. Also, the servers were smiling and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I had several guests comment on what a great job they did. OK, so this review is not based on one visit. I live in Ola, which means there are no restaurants near me, except this and one other. I have ordered and eaten from here many times. But I won't any longer. The portion size on pickup is overwhelmingly small. I ordered sweet potato fries as a side.. there were 12. Only reason I counted was because it looked so ridiculous. The 1/2 chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday, and also super small. Child plate size. To be clear, I'm not unrealistic on what to expect. But it was bad and has been consistently small and not worth the money. When you spend $14 for a 2 meat plate, for lunch, and it sucks this badly, it leaves me writing a yelp review, which only happens if a place is overwhelmingly good or bad. I'm not a foodie. I stopped by with my kids tonight and ordered three meals to go and waited 45 minutes for our food. We watched the family in front of us order, eat and leave while we waited. Great service from a great local chain. There are healthy choices along with southern favorites. I have yet to have a bad meal or bad service here. I love this place! A local favorite for sure. A bit hot in the summer months as the majority of seating is outside but it's worth it! Put in some bug spray and come at dusk! One of my favorite places to eat. I've eaten here many times. The food is always great and the service always friendly. It is often very busy at this location but never have to wait long for the food to be ready. MUCH better service here than at the one on Jonesboro Rd where you can stand there for 7 or 8 minutes being the only one in line and they don't even acknowledge you are there. read more

Let me preface by saying I love SRS. Also I live literally right across the street. In walking and sight distance. Over the years(5) the same problem has occured. The food is great but the service (take out) has been less than commendable. Often the orders are lacking one item or more or the staff makes one feel as though they are doing you a favor simply by doing their job. Normally I'm not the type to do this(especially after working in the service industry)but after several years of the same type of attitude I felt it necessary to voice my perspective. Again this is very good place to eat if you're eating in, but if you choose to order over the phone you will probably be put on hold even if there is only 2 customers in the restaurant or get home and find out the baked beans aren't there.
