Tell me this doesn't look pretty!

Great hidden gem in the heart of Clarence Hollow. Absolutely loved the bartender who made it feel like we came to a friend's house! Nice selection of beers with a twist (see the menu for explanations). Cute little place that offers seating inside and out, dice and board games and a decent sized tv should someone want to watch a game.

Every beer goes towards building a school in Nepal.

Stopped in here on a whim. Doesn't look like much from the outside but i looked at the beer menu before going in and decided we'd give it a try. Casey at the bar welcomed us in and we sampled all the IPA's. Tried the Borlaug beer which was a good IPA, not super bitter as they say, so don't let that scare you off. The other was the session ale. Thought I liked the Borlaug more, but ended up liking the session better. We talked with Casey and a few patrons. I said I never had more fun in the first three minutes of entering a place than here. They have a cute little patio out back with music on Wednesday nights. There's libations for the non beer drinkers as well. They allow outside food to be brought in and the patio is dog friendly.

Love the vibe here! Met family for a few drinks in a Saturday night and had a lovely time sitting out back at the fire table. Great beer selections and tasty too!

The quaintest, most intimate brewery I have ever been to . I ordered at 3x Hefeweizen made with beets! I don't even like beets - but I could definitely put a couple of those brews away . This is the kind of place where the bartender gives you a fist bump when you walk in the door (true story ) and is determined to make your experience delightful . No food served but they allow you to bring in stuff from other places . Gorgeous patio and board games available for play . Only negatives about the experience was a wobbly table and a pesky fruit fly . Other than that - 5 stars for this new microbrewery with the fun name !

We went inside and both ordered a flight. Found out they don't serve food but did have a big selection of chips to choose to I assume cover covid requirements. I normally lean toward IPAs so got a few of them on my flight along with a sour. Quickly realized I'm not a sour fan but the IPAs were all good. My husband got the Octoberfest and BBA Imperial Stout. They only had about 1/2 a glass left of that and offered to give him another full glass of another kind. Actually turned out that was his favorite so we'll need to go back when they have more available. We sat outside in their back patio area. A few more people arrive but was still pretty quiet though I'm sure that changes later. No music playing but a nice day to sit outside. If you're looking for the place, it's the last building you'll see before the antique world parking lot. We'll be back to see what other offerings they may have.

Unfortunately, I can't drink beer anymore, but still enjoy going to breweries. They do have cider! The owner, behind the bar, was very nice and friendly. I liked the outside area that included many tables and chairs and was a chill atmosphere. The place is hard to find. It is right in between a construction company, and the antique mall, so if you blink, you'll miss it. I drove past.

We talked with Reanna and Michael about how they started their venture. Really nice couple and really nice business. It is worth the trip. There's a ton of comfortable seating whether you sit inside in front of the taps, in front of the window, at the comfy chairs, over in the book nook or outside, there's a great place to kick back and relax. I haven't even got to the beer yet. For a relatively new place (opened in September) they have their shit together. We tried the black IPA and the Citrice IPA. The Witches at black Masses was smoky and full of flavor. The Citrice was crisp and everything you'd like in an IPA. Amarillo hops are one of my favorite, and this beer didn't disappoint. For breweries I'd have to say the eclectic nature of this place, the beautiful countryside and the charisma of the owners make it a standout establishment. Besides the fact that they have a great selection of all kinds of beer. I even tried the Heffy and I liked that as well. Take a drive and make this a tasty rest stop. You won't be sorry...and don't forget to give Mabel a pat on the head.

The atmosphere is very cool and ecclectic with a masculine, antique, lodge vibe. The beers are tasty, and a few are very unique with green pepper cream ale and black IPA. I really enjoyed all of the samples I had, and I ended up purchasing the harvest spice seltzer. It was crisp and a little more like a cider than a seltzer. The owners are personable, and you can tell they are excited to have this new business open and gaining popularity. They will be open to small private event too, which is great if you live in the area.

The price was a bit more than I thought it was worth for the breakfast platter and shrimp & rice (not quite Hawaiian fried but good). Except for the lobster Mac & cheese. As we've eaten here before, we got the nachos and chicken Mac and cheese. The nachos were the saddest looking thing we've ever seen. No toppings on half of them. When we brought it to Michelle's attention, she offered to bring us more (pico, cheese and beans). She did say portion sizes have changed according to the kitchen-okay so $14 for less food, got it. But at least she tried. Then the mac and cheese came out. This couldn't be disappointing, right? Well. Despite us ordering the EXACT same thing, my husbands portion was literally double the size of mine!! It was like I had the kids version. I'm Not sure if Ray Charles was in charge of portion control but it was such a disappointment and we will not be back. $51 plus tip for a terrible valentines meal. Thank you, Michelle , for trying your best. NYBP, do better.

The Black Lager, Nut Brown Ale, Tropical Situation, Altar Ego, and Extra Special Bitter were what we tried and they were excellent! Food is superb here too. We started with the Whipped Feta which we tend to get a lot when it's available at different dispensaries and this one was easily one of the best we had. My Buffalo Chicken Burger was so delicious, crispy, and the Gorgonzola cheese added a lot to it as well. My wife ordered the Tofu Tacos which she enjoyed and liked even more when she added pickles that I didn't want from my burger. Wasn't as messy as she thought it was gonna be too! Our fries were nice and crispy and very well seasoned as well. Staff was excellent and gave great recommendations and we had great conversation with him. I know the menu has changed a bit since we went, so we're dying to try the new menu and new beers! Again, highly recommend stopping here!

I decided maybe Virgil was close enough to try it, and oh my goodness - I understood at once why poutine is so popular. If you also hail from a poutine-less area of the world, fear not - done well, it's a great dish. The beer was also excellent. I can see why The Black Lager is Canada's most award-winning Schwarzbier. There are some really good schwarzebiers in my city, and Silversmith's is right up there with them. I also have a Nut Brown Ale, and a small size of the Motueka, both of which I would get again. They know what they are doing with their food and drink. And the atmosphere is really good as well. The old-church-turned-brewery is beautiful. I'll let the pictures in other reviews do it justice. The service was good. It was relatively busy the night I was there, but the service was still quick enough and even a bit conversational - I recall one of the bartenders worked at Silversmith in the warmer months, and travels southeast Asia in the colder months, which is pretty cool. I would likely be a regular if I lived in the area.
