OK brewery. Food was your standard pub fare. I had the beef sandwich, which was the highlight. Fried pickles tasted frozen, which is unfortunate. If the beer I had gotten on draft was fresh this would have been a 4 star review. I don't know if the lines needed cleaning or it was just an old keg, but I'm glad I also ordered a glass of water. Service was great. Our hostess and server were top-notch.
We're visiting from out of town, and after a long drive, we found Eli Fish and decided to stop for dinner. We couldn't have made a better choice! It was about a 20 minute wait, but they had a nice seating area to wait in with a TV, so it went by quickly. Our server was so pleasant, and the food was delicious! We enjoyed a few of the specials, and both men at the table each took down a stinger sandwich, which was giant! My husband loved the red ale that recently won gold at the New York state craft beer competition. We're often in the area to visit family and would definitely come back again!
Pit stopped here on our road trip. We found parking right out front Tuesday evening. We were sat right away and immediately attended to. They offer a beer Flight for $12. We ordered the Amoreus, Senor Pescado, Maple Sunshine & Eli's Horchata Cream Ale. The Amoreus was pretty good, a light and refreshing Lager. The Maple Sunshine was really interesting, you can definitely smell and taste the Maple and it leaves a sweet taste in your mouth. I really liked the Horchata Cream Ale, it tastes kind of like Cream soda. The Senor Pescado was also crisp and refreshing. To eat, we ordered the Grit Cakes and the Pork Belly Rice Bowl. We did want to order the crab rangoon dip but they didn't have any. Food came pretty quickly. The Grit Cakes were light and fluffy and very good and crispy. They're quite big though and it comes with 4 large pieces. I did like the pork belly rice bowl as well but didn't fully enjoy the Chipotle ranch dip that we got on the side mixed. Overall, a cool place to stop into and the beers are good. Friendly service and quiet. They do have a lot of seating indoors and a patio thats open as well.
The food was delicious and fresh, the service was friendly and very attentive and the ambiance was cozy and roomy! Definitely a beautiful place to eat and the price was very reasonable!
Well if you're diving any where near Batavia, you must stop here! Food is awesome, have tried several things on the menu and a few of the beers all are top notch! This time bought a growler so we didn't have to drive after a few! Our fave is Donut shop bourbon barrel brew!
Awesome !!! Started with a donut shop Bourbon barrel aged stout, got up giggling ! I had the pork belly burger with a side poutine OMG awesomely Devine ! Juicy deliciousness and the poutine was also awesome , plenty of cheese and gravy!! The wife absolutely loved the wreck on pretzel roll. with crispy tater tots ! It's a must try

First time here. Fun place with really good food and service. I started off with a 1911 black cherry, and ordered the chicken tenders with the garlic parm sauce. One of the best sauces I've ever had! My food arrived hot (lately when I go out to eat, my food is warm and I have to ask them to throw it in the microwave) and the chicken fingers were some of the best that I've had. My date ordered a croissant sandwich off the specials menu. It looked so good but I was very full. Would go back!
Always a great stop after golfing at Terry Hills. Sizable beer selection with IPA's, porters, stouts, ales and other options. This time around, went with the weck sandwich which came on a soft pretzel roll. Au jus and side of horseradish cream sauce compliments the juicy beef. Mac and cheese was a large portion, creamy enough with a good flavor overall. Bartender was hustling to serve everyone at the bar and food came out quickly. Huge space with a nice local bar feel.
We have a large family event taking place this weekend and with some family arriving the night before, we selected this establishment. We enjoy a meal every time we are in Western NY along with the varied options for adult beverages. My wife called requesting a reservation for 15 which grew to 21 within an hour of our 6:30 schedule. The staff accepted each call and expansion and setup high tops by the front window for our expanded relatives in from the NJ area. Our server kept everyone's beverages flowing and the turn around time for our meal was incredible ! I had the pickle pizza because of course I did. Split with my son and also some stuffed mushrooms to share in our row. We most certainly stayed longer than expected and never felt rushed by check drops. Several members had traveled today and began bowing out so half our space was reset for new customers. Everyone enjoyed their selections and as usual, our expectations were exceeded.

I know we went to a brewery but actually ordered Margarita and an Old fashioned. I know. I know. Geeezezez lolololol they were decent and maybe we should have ordered beer anyway I had the French onion soup, chicken wings and my husband had the chicken tenders. Out of everything we had the chicken tenders were the BOMB! I wish the wings were tossed in that seasoning but those came out bare naked with BBQ and ranch dipping sauce on the side. The French onion soup was nothing to write about and I did t care very much for the Margarita. But those chicken tenders YESSSSSSSSS!

We moved to the back where a pretty private table was set up for us. This place is huge yet somehow our corner felt intimate at the same time. Our server was amazing. Sorry I don't have her name. I'm not sure how she managed to keep track of everyone and everything. We started our meal by ordering several different appetizers which were shared by all. I'm not ever sure what everything was (the table was long!) but everything looked delicious. My favorites were the banana pepper pierogi and the fish tacos. The fish was super fresh and the cilantro cream sauce was the perfect topping. I had never had banana pepper Pierogi before. the smoked brisket served with it was nice an tender and the pierogi had a nice kick. I also enjoyed the fried pickles. Now looking at the menu I'm thinking we got pretty much every appetizer. What can I say, my family likes to eat. The same thing happen with mains. There were a wide variety of selections. My husband got the brew house jambalaya and I ordered the blackened mahI salad. The mani was so good, again prepared to perfection and placed on top of a salad loaded with crisp fresh ingredient. Both excellent. Another standout was the Stinger pizza. So good! it definitely had a kick to it which I loved but a couple other thought it was too hot. Lol, is there such a thing? Service was excellent, food tasted great, and beers were definitely tasty. What more can you ask for? A lot of my review was based on the food. I guess I expected good beer but was also impressed with the food. They also have a great patio area in the back which looks out of an open area where it looks like concert are held. Attended a family gathering. The location was convenient for family members from borh the Rochester and Buffalo area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a good beer and food selection. And with as many people in our party, the kitchen got our food out very quickly. I ordered the French Onion Soup and the Brew-House Jambalaya which were both good. Next time we are in the area we'll be stopping here again.

GM needs to be checked! Disrespectful Beer was good bar tender was good, was told by a bar tender I can have a poster and the general manager comes over saying I stole it and called me a thief. Completely disrespectful as I had a large party of 20 and was bringing in business and revenue. I was told it's okay to take it but proud power tripping lady thought it was coming from her pocket acne and embarrassed me In my party..... where we brought a empty bar 20+ people I won't promote this bar on my group page again Plenty of better places to come were their not power tripping with a nasty GM complaining about a 3$ poster. read more

I've been to Eli Fish a bunch of times, and each time is great. First off, the interior decor is a beautifully restored & historic old J.J. Newberry store. Ceilings are super high, square footage is deceptively huge both making overall space cavernous. The food is upscale tavern, with plenty of options for everyone. There's a long list of app options, and sandwiches are way more creative than other places. There's only 4 burgers, but I'd be psyched for any of them. The salads and entrees are solid as well. Anyway, I got a case of the beers to go and happily sampled them all over the past few months (see pics). People's tastes for beers vary, so I'll just say my favs are: Jazz Hands (IPA), Jadin's Fruit Salsa (sour), & Norm (American light IPA) read more
This restaurant has been on my list for awhile and finally had the opportunity to drive to Batavia, NY and check it out. We went at lunch time on a Saturday and I was shocked when I saw how big the place was! It seemed to go back forever and then there is an outdoor area too! We were seated more towards the front and had a very nice server. She quickly took our drink orders and gave us ample time to decide. The menu is great, lots of different options for all sorts of eats. It didn't take more than 20 min for our food to arrive and it was all delicious! I think the winner was the pizza though! It is very affordable and I will definitely come back when I'm in the mood for a mini-road trip from Buffalo. read more
Really recommend their hamburgers, very tender and juicy. Great quality when it comes to their hamburgers. Wasn't a big fan of their pizza, the quality felt low, it didn't land that far from a frozen pizza, not restaurant quality at all in my opinion. Definitely recommend visiting during October fest. They put out a special food menu and the vibes are fun. Their drink menu always has good things to try. You gotta go with a flight if you're visiting! read more

Stopped at Eli Fish brewing for an early dinner this week. Delicious!!! I got the turkey sandwich and tater tots. The waitress did tell me that the cheese was spicy on this sandwich and said I could change if I wanted...I went with the spicy and was not disappointed. The tater tots were very good as well. First time here and will definitely be back! Place is massive and pretty cute. I love the string lights, it makes it very cozy and comfortable. Our server was Amanda. She was super friendly and on top of making sure we had anything we ordered in a timely manner. If she noticed something wasn't at our table she immediately went to check on it and we got it within the next few minutes. Great service! Pork belly burger 9/10 Cooked a perfect medium rare (as requested). Awesome flavor. Very juicy, cheesy and messy. Pretzel bun goes perfect with the beer cheese. Just needed a bit more pork belly. Some bites didn't have any. Loaded cheese fries 7/10 Not cheesy. The cheese was over cooked and crispy on the top so the fries were a little dry underneath. They were still really good though anyways. I did dip them in my leftover chipotle ranch & pico from my corn curls and they were great with that also. If they were plain fries I'd probably rate them a 10. Special 4/15/23: Street Corn Curls 10/10 I love the out of the box thinking for this dish. Never heard of these before in my life.. I didn't know that the center of the corn cob was still attached so I first took a bite out of the whole thing then realized I should not do that lol. Anyways, these are absolutely amazing. I would eat them every week! The light breading is flavorful, perfectly fried, the pico is good but falls off easily, and the chipotle ranch is out of this world I'd like to bottle it and take it home! We haven't been here for a few years so we figured we would give it a try. The food was very good!! Much better then "bar food". My husband had a flight of beers and really enjoyed them as well. I do not drink so I enjoyed an alcohol free beverage. We started with the pirogies as an appetizer. They were tasty! If anything I wanted more. For mains I had a chicken sandwich and the broccoli salad, YUM! My husband had a burger and a side of poutine and it was also amazing! We will definitely go back again. It did get a little loud as it was trivia night but all in good fun. read more

Saturday night out with friends and wanted to check out this brewery. There was a lady singing and playing guitar and she was very good. The only downfall was it was hard to talk while she was playing as she couldn't hear across the table. Drinks were good. The dining room is huge and goes on and on. This place is SO COOL! I couldn't believe how large the dining area is, I swear it just kept going and going! Service was awesome, every time we weren't sure the next drink to order, our waitress had excellent recommendations based off our our personal preferences. They had 20+ beers on tap and everything from IPA to sours, to stouts. They even have a full bar. They have specialty cocktails available and I ordered the raspberry chocolate martini and hands down, that is the best cocktail I've ever had in my life. My sister and I gulped them down all night! They serve it with stress raspberries drizzled with chocolate sauce. My goodness...if you don't try this cocktail, you are so missing out! I would drive the hour to get there just for this. But ok ok ok, let's get to the food... The menu is huge! Lots of sandwhiches, salads, entrees and burgers. We started off with their perogies - stuffed jalapeno popper fried perogies, smothered in balsamic. Such a strange flavor combination that I probably wouldn't get again. My brother got a burger and loved it. My husband got the jumbalaya and man, was that delicious!! COVID-friendly! Tables are actually well-spaced (and flexible for any size party) and you can do contactless pay through a QR code with your smartphone. The Oktoberfest menu was awesome! $15 GIGANTIC shareable pretzel came with two types of mustard (I don't like mustard but I liked this) and beer cheese. I hope it becomes a staple. The beer menu is vast, varied, and ever-changing. My ($8) flight was fantastic, except that the aged barleywine was apparently $1.50 extra and I didn't know until the bill came. I ordered the Stinger ($13) and it was okay. I didn't realize it was a wrap (ok yes it said so on the menu) and the cheese wasn't melted at all. It was pretty spicy, too. The beer mac 'n cheese as a side ($1.50 extra) was definitely worth it and I wish I'd had just that for my meal. My friend really liked her French onion soup and the other thought the Chipotle steak & cheese was just okay. Service was just okay as well. I wish we hadn't been too full to have the infused ice cream flight!! The atmosphere is good, and for friends who live in two different cities, this is a solid choice for meeting in the middle. read more

Our experience was inconsistent. We stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for an uncomfortable amount of time while staff averted their eyes. The restaurant was at maybe 10% capacity. When we finally got seated the wait staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The beer was delicious, super delicious and the selection could make any palate happy. The french onion soup is a keeper too.. The french fries were crispy and salty the other side dish of mac n cheese was also quite good. We opted for burgers because they were hand pressed......pressed or pressing didn't seem to happen but probably hand formed cause they were substantial. Medium rare, appeared more rare.
