Price is pretty good. We walked in paid and started grabbing food. They had all you can eat pizza, pasta, and some chicken wings and other few side dishes, and salad station. The experience was OK. We've been coming to this Shakey's for as long as I could remember, its the only one that's in the area. Today we decided to do the Bunch a Lunch. My younger brother with Autism/Down Syndrome only eats certain things & not a lot of quantity of it. We normally order him a chicken sandwich plain & get two lunches for ourselves. His sandwich takes about 10-12 mins to make & be brought out to us. We proceed to fill our plates with pizza/chicken/salad. Having to wait for his food just doesn't feel right eating our food without him having his. Him only to stare at us while he waits for his meal to come out. To avoid this we serve his a SMALL plate of chicken, salad & mojos for the meantime off of the plate we bought for ourselves, this isn't the first time we do this with no one stating it was wrong to do. Today the manager came up to us while dropping off the Chicken sandwich only to say we should pay for a FULL lunch plate for him since we're giving him some off our plate. Considering he only eats a SMALL amount we don't find it reasonable to pay another $14.99 for him when he doesn't eat the same compared to any of us. We simply told him that we'll do that next time, manager walked away. Unfortunately since they want us to pay for a full plate we wont be coming to this Shakey's any longer, we'll take the trip to go to a farther one if that's the case. The restaurant is a good location booths are kept clean & bathroom is usually restocked. That was the only issue we had with this location. Hopefully in the future this manager learns to accommodate people with disabilities read more

Shakeys is a great spot to take the kids for an experience of good food and fun! Get the family pizza and chick with mojos if you're feeding a few hungry ones. Server was really attentive and was happy to help our party when needed. Manager screens for paying customers to get the bathroom code, makes sense, Hollywood can get a bit edgy. I grew up eating Shakey's pizza and having a AYCE Lunch Buffet really hits the spot. The food is great and the pricing is very fair. I believe i paid around $17 total for the meal. Overall parking was abundant and theres plenty of seating inside. The buffet menu is selected but overall you will be satisfied. I do wish they gave the water at the cashier instead of waiting for the cashier to finish all their tasks then walk to the bar to give you one. Overall the vibes were good and the place is filled with lively people. I would stop by again if im in the area. Note: If you never had Shakeys before, the sauce is on the sweeter side but overall its a very pleasing pizza. read more

It may seem too generous of a rating but I could say that the whole staff is very helpful, they're genuinely nice and quick to assist when needed, no sense of frustration or any of that, this is something I appreciated to see and thankful that there's this good customer service in a whole team. The manager was there as well, he seemed to be focused on the team and also helpful when my cousin asked him a question while he was there. The food is basically just nostalgic, the potato mojos haven't changed, who doesn't love them?! Huge seating, tables get cleaned immediately, that alone is a plus. We took the kids out here for dinner after a day out on a weekend and it was packed! We ordered as the counter before seating (a few pizzas and drinks with chicken wings and caesar salads). My family and I decided to stop by last night for dinner. We've been here only once before when our daughter was 2 for the Bunch of Lunch (she is currently 3) and the food was good! No complaints. This time we went with the Medium PCM, 4 pieces of fried chicken, Mojos, and a medium pizza. 2 fountain drinks, plus one plate of their unlimited salad bar. All of this for 58 dollars. Service was quick and efficient; the cashier was helpful and answered questions we had. The ambiance was cozy, not too loud, and clean-- the perfect combo for family/friends vibes. Food came, and the pizza looked good, but looks can be deceiving! As soon as you take a bite, all you can taste is tomato sauce, and not the good kind. As soon as I finished my first bite, the heartburn came. The cheese easily came off from the pizza. Like if it was just glued to the pizza slice. The Mojos were okay; I briefly remember them being a lot better back then. Their only saving grace for this dinner was their fried chicken; it had great flavor and the perfect amount of crispiness. I would go as far as to say the chicken was tender and juicy. To top it off, I had gotten an unlimited salad bar plate. All the greens looked old, as if they had been there all day. One of the workers was switching out one of them, so I decided to get that. Then, when I got to my table, I took the first bite, and it tasted hard and ice cold. For whatever reason, my salad tasted like it had been left in the back of the fridge, and it started to freeze up. I know this isn't the Shakey's I have tasted in the past. Maybe it was a bad night. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Since in the past I've had a good experience. I probably won't be back anytime soon though. read more

09/16/2025 I was in the LA area and heard Shakey's Pizzas still existed here. I grew up with one in the Bay Area. We walked into the pizzeria and it was modernized but that was ok. It still had some old school patina to it (1970-1980's). We ordered a medium Shakeys Special $20.95. 1/4 loaf garlic cheese bread $4.99 and 1/2 order of mojo potato's $4.99. Pizza was thin crust and very good. Not greasy and the pizza sauce was sweet. The garlic bread was good. The Mojo's are ok. Bunch of lunch buffet is 11am-2pm and it gets crowded fast. This location has great services and fantastic playlist. Jamming to early 2000s music while loading up on carbs really take me back to my younger days where I can easily go through 5 plates. Now I can only do 2. Today my husband and I woke up with a craving for some pizza, we decided to try out the shakeys lunch buffet as i've heard good things about it. At arrival, the space was clean, well organized with overall great presentation. The price was pretty decent, $40 for lunch buffet for 2 adults + drinks, pretty well priced for all you can eat salad, pizza, pasta, chicken, mojos, etc. The service was the cherry on top. Although it was a little busy, we never felt as if we were a bother to any of the workers, which if we're being honest, is a common occurrence nowadays. The girl helping us with picking up plates & at the prize table was a delight & super talkative with us. The manager, i presume since i forgot to ask for his name, was very nice & attentive ! Overall my experience at shakeys was pretty great and i would go back purely based on service alone. The food was all delicious and fresh, even had a s'mores pizza! Never seen that before.
